...are you alright dear or is that just the substance talking? :/ although I'd be lying if I said it wasn't good, seems like what we're feeling in the moment or what we feel the strongest comes out more poetically and gets the point across...well, at least it helps in a way, but it wouldn't be called poetry if it had no feeling. Even though it worries me when you write these kind of stories, I also encourage that you write more. I'm tellin' ya, you should write a novel. :) I've read reeeeaaaally horrible stories that were on shelves in bookstores and your writing is like a die-hard worshipper reading God's words on a holy golden tablet...and I always feel the words penetrate my mind and change my way of thinking...either with the character or in general. It's interesting to know what goes on in a person's mind, whether it be good or bad. Always, ALWAYS, waiting for more of what comes from your mind. :)

    Wow.... this is VERY deep.

I'm aware that there are people who cares for other people and there are people who wants to change people. This one definitely describes how one person put so much effort trying to change the person he likes. It also provides an new perspective, one which Goku is not aware that there are strict limitations to changing a person. Vegeta's dark past mentioned in your story here is one of the many examples that there is no way to *completely* change a person. Sure, Goku can try to change Vegeta half-way but never completely.

In here, Goku has a partial god complex. He tries to change, to mold Vegeta into a person that HE desires! Which is terrifying because how can we, the readers, tell whether Goku truely loves Vegeta? Clearly, Goku is in love with his idea of Vegeta but he isn't IN love with Vegeta. He isn't remotely in love with Vegeta for being HIMSELF! Once Goku realizes this, he no longer *desires* Vegeta and felt his entire efforts to changing Vegeta has gone to waste. Vegeta didn't changed enough for Goku's likings and felt that his image of his desired lover has become nothing more than mere fantasy. Not only that, Goku has intentionally led Vegeta into thinking they have a *real* relationship and *real* love - only to toss him away later on. This results in a serious mental abuse and emotional abuse. Goku has become no better than Freeza. By uttering those cruel words to Vegeta, Goku has completely shattered Vegeta. I wouldn't be surprised if Vegeta simply crack the next time he sees Goku. There's nothing left for him, no one left to understand Vegeta's turmoil... not his own family will understand him.

So what left for Vegeta now? Put on a mask and be an empty shell for the rest of his life? Or revert back to his old self- being a fearsome warrior prince, void of emotions (meaning no further emotional abuse) who knows nothing but delivering chaos and destruction. He was a PLANET PURGER, for crying out loud! Does Vegeta really want to stay silent, wear a mask, struggle to live day by day until his death (by old age or suicide) OR will Vegeta embrace his dark side once more?

In any case, I would love to read more of this story. Personally, I think this story deserves two thumbs up - for effort and creativity. I love how there are many personification, metaphors, and similes present in the story.
