Great chapter. *shakes head* I pity the Bladebreakers, in a way. *absent-mindedly hits Mariah with darts* As I said, that chapter was great. I look forward to the next one.

Excellent! This story is a pleasure to read. I'm interested in seeing how you continue this wonderful plot.
I can't wait to find out why Rei and Kai have a problem with the All Stars team. And I've become somewhat enamoured with the concept of Rei and Tala's mother. Does she have a name, and are we going to hear anything about their father? (Blue eyes, black hair right?)
Anyhoo, ignore me if you like and carry on!

Oh I can't believe they both left. Man I wish Tyson would get his ass into gear and join up with Lee and Kevin. I don't like it when it looks like he's the bad guy. Can't anyone put him in a good light for once? Make him more perceptive? Wish he could be a triplet to Tala and Ray. Anyways hope to see the next part out soon.

Are you going to take into account the fact that Rei and Lei were sent to an Abbey-like training centre to live in when they were young? This is manga-canon.
Also canon, which most people blatantly ignore, is the fact that Kai was not brought up in the abbey. When he returned to Russia, he flashbacked to a time he'd visited there and seen black-Dranzer. This was so brief an interlude in his life that he barely even remembered the incident. He was for the most part raised in Japan, in the lap of luxury, with Voltaire Hiwatari. Kai Hiwatari! He's mostly considered to be Japanese, with some Russian decent. And for goodness sake, do you people really think Voltaire would let his employees take advantage of his own grandson? Rape is considered a dishonour amongst his culture, do you really believe he would bring shame upon his bloodline like that? I'm not dissing you in particular with this, as you've probably picked it up from the dreaded fan-canon. I just sincerely wish people would pay attention to what actually happened in the anime/manga.
I have chosen to suspend my disbelief that Rei and Tala could even be remote cousins, let alone twins . I will set aside the fact that Tala is obviously not a neko and that he is quite obviously as white a boy as is possible, and very distinctly NOT CHINESE.
I will set aside these peeves, becuase underneath all this is the basis for a good story.
This is pretty well written, and aside from all the preconceptions and disbelief of the pretense, this is a story with a pretty good plot.
You should go read Mr &Mrs. Hiwatari by Shin Rigel (shinigami tenshi), in which she lays out an excellent example of using proper canon to explore Rei and Kai's background.
Again, this isn't a flame, just constructive criticism. I like the story, really I do, I just feel that you have the brains and the talent to write something lovely, and I would have preferred that something lovely to be without false preconceptions. I hope you take Rei and Lei's training camp into consideration. And please don't be discouraged by my ranting; it's not just at you, but everyone who continues to go on about Kai's so called tragic past, which bears no resemblance to canon.

ooohh.... wowies... oh, poor Rei... I don't think I like this Ivan fellow. Hmm, the twins' parallel dreaming is pretty clever of you... and there's a branch of BioVolt in China? Does that mean the White Tigers may have something do with it? I don't really have much to say today, well.. I do, but I've only had one coffee..hehe... so if you wait a few hours or until tomorrow I'll come and give you a nice long review. I promise!

oh god damn you, leaving it hanging like that. Grr... But major eek! for interestingness. Sorry but I'm not in the mood for writing a long review right now, but I promise that I'll give you a really long one for the next chapter, k? I haven't heard of you before, or if I have I don't remember (sorry) but you're a damned good writer, and I like that you think it's unrealistic to have only gay couples. I keep saying that to everyone but no one ever listens. Rei and Kai, and Tala and Bryan... such cute couples lol, and the opposites of the pairings in September. Eek, I'm a fan of any couple in Beyblade besides incest... I just find that wrong. But, anyway, shelving that thought, this fic is so exciting already, and such a good prologue. I'm really bad at them... like really really bad at writing prologues.

Anywho, good luck and have fun with this fic. Yeah I know, darkness and doom 'n' gloom isn't much fun but you said you'd be putting happy stuff in too. And thanks for the lack of grammatical and spelling mistakes (they tend to make me freak out a bit with OCD).
