I have been reading the stories in this series and the one before and while I haven't reviewed it yet (I was waiting for the end) but after that I just had to place a review. It was so fucking sweet and sad at the same time and it made my chest ache coz I could feel the love between them and it made me tear up because it was so heart-breakingly sweet. I love these series. It's the perfect balance of love and smut and it's so....Gah I don't want to use sweet again. i love the series. And now I'm going to get back to the rest of the story. Oh that was after chapter...where Roy caught Ed kissing Ling and there was the bit where they were starting over. -wipes away tear at corner of her eye when she thinks of it again-

LOVE these fics. Ed is so true to life. YOu really manage to work their relationship into canon. Great job!

Your Crack Theater...fics? Presentations? Dioramas with dialogue? Are FREAKING awesome! I've read them all over and over.

Where did you find that fan art pic of Roy and Ed in the riding clothes and Roy has the riding crop? So hot! I gotta see it full size!

Thanks for all the great fics and crack theater!

*enthusiatic applause* This has to be without a doubt the best story on all of AFF!! :D (Not counting "The Adventures of Roy Mustang: Sex Ed Teacher" of course!!) I loved every minute of it!! My absolute favorite part was Roy's and Otto's performance at the school exhibition. I, like Ed, LOVE to watch Roy dance! :) Watching the water dragon and the phoenix dance was enthrallingly spellbinding. I felt positively breathless after the demonstration! Absolutely incredible!! :) It made me wish that alchemy was possible in this world just so I could see this display for myself. :)

I would never have imagined that Ed would be content being a teacher. He just never seemed the type to be happy with doing something so ordinary. But, considering the life he'd led up to this point, it's not really that much of a stretch of the imagination to think he'd need some ordinary in his life. Speaking of the life he'd led up to this point, OMG!, unbelieveable! It's always pained me no end that Ed was stuck in our world with no way home. That is a wrong that demands to be righted. Six long years spent living a waking endless dream, feeling that everything around you was just a shade off what you think it should be, finding the strength to somehow carry on day after day as hope fades and reality tries to crush you. I can't imagine. Your take on Ed's time in our world is one of the best I've ever read. I was almost in tears when Alfons died and Ed all but gave up on his dream of going home. ;_; Using Envy and the faerie ring as a conduit to the Gate was brilliant! I was thrilled to see Envy ripped to shreds by the Gate! :) He more than deserved it for impersonating Roy like that and using Ed's feelings for Roy against him.

Ling of Xing. *sigh* For most of this I really could not stand Ling. I don't really know that much about him (as I've not read that much about him in the manga up to volume 13) but he really got on my nerves more often than not. I would hate to think that all royals are so self-centered and so self-righteous that they do whatever they want to whomever they want and think they can get away with it without consequence. The way he kept playing his little cat and mouse games (the sparring) trying to manipulate Ed into doing what he wanted (leaving Roy to be with him, trying to get his hands on the Stone, kissing, etc) was no better than Envy's out and out deception and lies. Even when Ling FINALLY left for home and Ed told him point blank that he loves Roy, it was like he still considered Ed a possible conquest. A remote possibility but still a possibility. So, yeah, I think he's an ass. Oh, I almost forgot. Al said he wanted to use Xingian pharmacy to "fix" Ed. Does that mean that Al will try to use the frozen Wrath to somehow reattach Ed's limbs? There's no way Ed would ever agree to it but the prospect of it is intriguing.

Ed's beard. ugh. I could have kissed Roy senseless when he shaved that godawful mess off Ed's face!! LOL! Roy, you are my hero!! XD I can not stand a hairy man and facial hair is the worst! eww!! *shivers* I wondered why Ed would want the damned thing when it made his look so much like his father (whom he hates)! *sigh* whatever. Roy's and Ed's adventures at the lake were awesome! Roy proposing in the honeymoon suite was so sweet, driving the car into the lake and getting it out with alchemy was great, getting left on the side of the road by the tow truck driver was hilarious! :D What in the world possessed the two of them to decide to have sex in the lake?? Uh ew. A bad idea with bad results. I do have to say that when Ed was doing his martial arts exercises that that was hot!! *drool* Ed has a beautiful body and watching him move like that was amazing.

Al and Riza. hmm. I don't know why but I just can not see the two of them together no matter how hard I try I just can't make the pieces fit. square peg in a round hole. (Why does that phrase sound like a euphemism for something dirty?) I can't say the age issue wasn't part of the problem 'cause it was - if only to a lesser degree. I just can't imagine what a mature worldly woman like Riza would see in a horny eighteen year old boy that she'd watch grow up no less! Granted he's a teenage boy who's lived three lifetimes and his intellect is beyond impressive but I just don't see it. While I'm not excusing what Roy did with Ed ('cause if you wanna get all technical about it, Roy was wrong for wanting 15 year old Ed), it's just that for some reason it's completely different for an older woman to want a much younger partner than it is for an older man to want one. It's a weird double standard that I have no real rationale for. Riza is so rigid and reserved while Al is outgoing and loving. She has to evaluate all angles of any situation before she acts whereas Al gives freely of himself without hesitation. hmm. Maybe opposites DO attract after all. I did think it was wrong of Al and Riza to have a double ceremony with Jean and Sarah. Every bride deserves her own day all to herself. Good thing neither one of them was a bride-zilla! Can you imagine a wedding with TWO bride-zillas?? O_O yikes! scary! :D I melted when Roy mouthed an "I do" to Ed during the ceremony! *dreamy sigh* This story had THE best ending ever with Roy and Ed getting their MUCH deserved happily ever after!! :) I must confess that since I didn't particularly care for Al's part of the story that I kinda skipped over his part to read more of Roy and Ed. Yes, I did go back a read Al's part but I just HAD to know what happened with Roy and Ed first! sorry. bad me. ;)

Gluttony, Lust, and Roy's new eye. (Wow! There's three things that look bizarre together!) Is Gluttony gone for good? Where did he go? If Roy didn't ask the Gate for a new eye, who did? How did he get it? Where did it come from? Was Lust taken as a sacrifice for the eye? If not, why was she taken and what was given for her sacrifice? Why is Roy's eye a different color from his original eye? Why didn't the Gate just regrow the missing eye instead of replacing it with one from who knows where? Was the array in the opera house destroyed so it can never be used again? Does Roy's eye see and relive only his past nightmares (Ishbal, Ed's disappearance, the homunculi, etc) or, because the Gate gave Roy doubt, does it also plague him with hellish premonitions? whew! I asked enough questions didn't I? :) Maybe there'll be answers in the next part of the story! :)

Lastly I'd like to say how utterly hilarious some parts of this story were! :D When Ed would turn into a fanged fiery-eyed demon whenever anyone slighted him in the least, such as when on his first day of class the students called him ponytail, I was on the floor! I imagined him from scenes from the manga and it made it all the more perfect! How the students would cringe and even the desks themselves would cower before Ed's rage was the best! Divine Retribution! LOVE IT!! There was also a scene where Ed stormed into Roy's office, threw his briefcase across the room, and something about Ed needing to bite off Roy's nose that had me ROFLMAO! You write some of the best comedy there is! (Your drama stuff is top notch too!!) I didn't think I'd like R.D. at first because I'm not a dog person but he turned out to be quite a funny little guy! And he's got a cool name! :)

Well, I've babbled enough. I could go on for days because there's just SO much good stuff here! :) Suffice it to say that I love you work and look forward to more from you! :D

P.S. I know when I reviewed "The Adventures of Roy Mustang: Sex Ed Teacher" that I promised I would leave a review for the next part of the story, "Better Living Through Alchemy", ASAP. Sorry I didn't post this review sooner. I hope the length of this review makes up for my tardiness! :)

*Wails* that was a great ending...(are you sure your done...must be a few more chapters...right?? *hopeful)

I loved how you spilt up the story lines and weaved them together, nice touch XD. I also liked how Roy didn't win, most stories have him win, so it was nice to have another version, as you will.

anyway, I'm going to be sorry that this is over with now. I often re-read my favoite chapters over and over again for this fic, so I'll guess that will have to be good enough now that this is done

I love your work you are a excelent writter! The only thing I have ever notticed is that you mix up words, like using "think" instead of "thing" which could just be a typo, do you have a profreader? Anyways that is the only little problem I noticed and it really doesn't distract from it at all! I love Ed's out burst! Pure comedic gold! You really kepted people in character while expanding on the character. And you write excelent love scenes. And YES! Al finally got some! Go Al! Will there be more of that? PLEASE PLEASE?!!

LMAO omg. i was just rereading the prequel and omg this is the most hilariously accurate paragraph ever! lol.

"The next day, Al dragged Ed out of bed at around noon and hustled him into a shower. He then toweled Ed’s hair dry and shoved him back into the room proper. He wrestled the familiar black tank top over Ed’s head, held Ed’s boxers and then pants for Ed to step into, and threaded his belt through the loops and buckled it. He left Ed staring blankly at this boots while Al made breakfast, then he dragged Ed over to the breakfast table and repeatedly shoved toast in his face until Ed’s FOOD!GIMME reflex kicked in and he began to eat."

lol. and yay!! new update for this one!!! your writing is so intriguing it just sucks me in and only spits me out when it sees fit lol. keep up the goodwork!!

EEEEE!!! K, that was probably uncalled for, but whatever. I am so glad I checked once before bed! Poor Gluttony, confused and lonely, just doesn't want to be alone. S'cool that Roy got his eye back though.
