I kinda feel strange for saying this, given the subject matter...but that was *really* beautiful. Moving. Imagery bouncing off the screen of my computer, man. I could taste and smell that ficlet. Beautiful, beautiful writing. You have one hell of a talent. I'll keep an eye out for more of your stories.
