Aww! Nicholas is such a dear sweet kid! Taking those cookies and milk to Wrath was adorable! He seems to be a gentle natured soul like his uncle Al. :) "Daddy didn�t make them, so they�re good." funny!! "Daddy learned to cook a lot of stuff when Aideen and I were babies, but he still burns anything he puts in the oven." LOL!! Ed sounds like me!! XD I'm becoming wary about Aideen's interest in machines and weapons from the other side of the gate. That's a deep subject for a nine-year-old to be so fascinated with. prodigies. sheesh. I'd like to think that her mechanically inclined fascination means that she's starting to show signs that she'll grow up to be a gearhead like her auntie Winry because I fear the danger/trouble that a pursuit of that kind of scientific knowledge could get her into. She's too smart for her own good. *sigh* so like her daddy. :( Glad to see that Sig and Archer have settled their differences (kinda) and that Wrath is on the mend. It makes me sad tho that he can't speak. "And I don�t know if your boyfriend was anything like my daddy aside from how much he looked like him, but I know Daddy doesn't like seeing you like this. Would he?" Ah, out of the mouths of babes! Such clarity of vision they have! :) Nicholas did almost make me cry when he said that he wished he could have known his mom even for just a little while. *wibble* I had a momentary flashback when Ed fussed at Nicholas and called him by his first and middle names. :) I always knew how much trouble I was in depending on how my mom said/called/yelled my name! The more of my name she used, the more trouble I was in! :D

"I outlasted you." Love it! So typically Ed! XD The phone sex was great! What is it about phone sex that's so erotic? Maybe it's the rush you get knowing you managed to arouse and satisfy another person with just the sound of your voice. Whatever it is, it's so hot! :) Archer and Fuery seem to be getting rather friendly now. What's that about? Something going on here you wanna share with the rest of the class? ;) Oh! And what's this about Frank spending a night with "Falman and Roy's sister"? Are Falman and Raine living together now? You go girl! w00t! :) Ed gets bored and invents a fridge/freezer combo. hunh. Must be nice to be that creative/inventive! :) I never heard of banana slices dipped in orange juice before. Learn something new every day. :) I hope Sig can reach Wrath. Something's gotta give and soon! Sig always makes me think of a great big grizzly bear. That is one mountain of a man! :D feh. Eckhart and Dante. blecch. I'm hoping that somehow once these two finally meet they will destroy each other. I don't even wanna think about the hellacious destruction they will cause when this meeting happens! *whimper* I just pray that no one else gets hurt or killed along with them! *cries*

well, i've just finished reading both stories and i'm impressed. they are very well written.......i was so sad when edward died.....*sigh* well keep up the good work it's also exciting to see how often you update........i look forward to reading more

Wooo, my bastard computer finally let me review! Yea, I sorry I haven't reviewed but... My computer hasn't like me the past few weeks. Away, ummm... Too many chapters to recap... Ugh... So, I'll tell you what I love about this chapter! :D

Okay, yay for Nicholas, he got the damn cast off. My friend had a cast on his leg once during the summer. He swears he rubbed his skin raw after getting it off.

Omg, noo, don't kill Frank, Sig! It's not him! -tries hold Sig back and fails miserably-

And... I agree with Aideen. Yea, Wrath, you lost Edward. Roy had lost Riza (Though, he had our beloved Eddo to help him) and he turned out fine! Yes Wrath. You need to cope.

And, last but not least...

PHONE SEX!!!

your story rocks! i read the first and the sequel back to back and i love it! i like the way you had both worlds in it and the roy and ed coupling. i felt really bad for wrath when edward died it seems like hes always on the short end of the stick >.< i cant wait for more! normally i dont like mpreg stories but i couldnt seem to put this one down so to speak. You rock ^.^

sad monkeys. sad, crying monkeys. i so wish edward hadn't died. and dante is seriously going to piss me off, i can feel it. is the story going to switch back to munich at some point, or is crazy battleship lady just going to show up one chapter? oh man, i don't want hohenheim (sp?) to die! he should be able to come back like wrath and see his grandchildren.

anyway, good work with the sadness and angst. i look forward to the next chapter.

I feel a weird mix of sadness and caution for Wrath. I feel bad for him because he lost Edward before they had a chance to really be together. I know he's really hurting right now and that's why I feel a certain amount of apprehension where he is concerned. His anger could be unleashed at any moment and Heaven help anybody in his way! It's just a matter of time before somebody has to bear to brunt of his rage. Oh! I know! How about he annihilates that damnable Dante for me! *evil grin* Yes, that would work out nicely indeed! :) Oh wait a minute. If the two of them fought, there's a good chance that Wrath might be killed in the process. They might end up killing each other. Well, if they did, Wrath would be back together with Edward. At least, I'd like to think so! :)

Speaking of that Dante bitch, is she going to try and take Rose's little boy and try to use him to open the gate? She tried once before and it wouldn't surprise me if she did it again. bitch. ARGH! She drives me crazy! Why hasn't she died already? Her body was on the verge of falling apart not so long ago (at the end of the anime) and it irritates me that somehow she's still cheating death! Give it up and die you old hag!!! GRR!!!

The twins were very cute trying to bribe their way out of their punishment! ;) I rather liked the punishment they got. There's nothing worse than having to look someone in the eye and admit you were wrong. Ugh. When I was a kid, I'd have much preferred a spanking AND grounding to doing that! Why'd you have to mention blueberry syrup? Man, I want some blueberry pancakes now! :D *raids the kitchen. finds no pancakes. :( damn. just my luck. sigh.*

Archer seemed to take the knowledge that Ed carried the twins surprising well. He's probably so overwhelmed that he just accepted it like everything else that's been suddenly thrown at him. I've been thinking about what you said about Ed's X chromosome wiping out Roy's Y chromosome thereby making Aideen a girl. Aideen has black hair like Roy so she still has at least some of Roy in her - i.e. Roy's X chromosome. Since she got the two necessary X chromosomes from her fathers, does she have any of Riza in her at all? She's bound to I'm sure but it's probably just a tiny bit just as Nicholas favors Riza and probably only has a small portion of Ed in his DNA. *grins* Aideen is Ed made over, not scared of anything! When she confronted Archer I had to smile! Gotta love her!! :D That whole last scene, most especially Ed saying, "You still have it?" and "I�m not going to rip it off. I don�t want it back. Besides, I don�t think it�s exactly going to fit anymore.", brought tears to my eyes! The whole thing about the hands not matching anymore, that did me in. GAH! I hate it when I'm extra hormonal! I'm such a mush ball! :)

Ah! A nice sweet ending to yet another impressive chapter! :) Nothing like a little cuddling to make the angst of the day go away and to reaffirm that "the Fullmetal Alchemist was still very much alive, very much in his arms, and very much his". I like it!! w00t! You had me cringing when Wrath kissed Ed. Not because of my squeamishness of the Wrath/Edward pairing (I'm over that) but because it's just plain icky to be kissed like that by a stranger! Eww!! Here Ed, you might want one of these. *hands Ed a breath strip and takes one for herself* That kiss made my mouth feel icky and I'll bet yours feels weird too. enjoy! *pops in the breath strip* much better! :) I think the kids got what Ed was trying to tell them. They're smart enough to not do anything that dumb. Won't Archer be shocked when he learns that Ed carried those two and gave birth to them! He made me mad when he was thinking that the Riza he knew wouldn't "approve of her children calling Roy�s male lover Daddy". Ok, Ok. It's an irrational anger. I never claimed to be rational! :) He wasn't talking about our Riza after all. Archer just keeps doing things that irritate me! GAH! Maybe Roy can barbeque him just a little bit just for me? *giggle* You surprised me with Aideen being a boy in the other world. Not sure how Ed managed to pull off a sex change thru alchemy or if he even did that at all but who knows? Ed wasn't too sure exactly how he managed to transfer the babies to himself so I guess anything's possible. I never thought I was responsible for Edward's death. It was just one of those things that as soon as you write it/think of it you know that that is what is gonna happen. Not a premonition per se just recognizing an obvious outcome. Oh, the little teasing comment from Ed to Roy when Roy kissed Ed after the icky moment with Wrath, "Trying to mark your territory, military dog?", was priceless! Loved it! That's exactly what that was! I just love the way you write Ed!! :D

*tears streaming down face* I knew you'd do this to me dammit. I knew it the moment I wrote it in my last review when I said, "What if Edward didn't survive the crash landing?". I knew he'd die. I knew that Edward had to die *sobs* because there can't be two Ed's in the same world just as there couldn't be two Al's in Munich (or wherever it was in the movie. can't remember.) It just hurts so much! T_T I really liked Edward! Just rip my heart out of my chest and stomp on it a few times why don'cha? *cries* I admit it, I was holding my breath for the first few dozen or so paragraphs hoping against hope that Edward would be OK even tho I knew in my heart of hearts that he wasn't. What will Wrath do now that Edward is gone? Will he give up and mourn himself to death? That can happen ya know. It's so not fair. All Edward wanted was to be with the person he loved in a place that accepted them. *sniffle* He never got the chance. Life is so cruel. Edward and Wrath will never be able to resolve that argument they had now. T_T

Insanely enough, there were three places in this dark drama where I actually smiled and even giggled a bit. Being emotionally overwrought will do that to you I guess! :) The first was when Roy collapsed in relief and clung to Ed. I was relieved too and smiled thru my tears that Ed was OK. Ed's ranting at Armstrong earned a weak chuckle from me as that bold as brass personality made itself known to all and sundry and helped to chase away some of my sadness. The second was when after Al grabbed Ed at the medic station and picked him up in a hug and Ed said, "Damn it, at least Roy had the decency to come down. You tall freaks keep picking me up." tall freaks! :) more of that irrepressible personality! Third and lastly, Ed cussing at the children. :) "You little shits." I actually laughed at this one (it was probably more like a chortle than a laugh) simply because it was so inappropriately out of place that I couldn't help myself. more of Ed being Ed in that unique way of his. It was actually kinda life affirming. Proof that Ed was safe, alive, and whole; not to mention ready to whip two little disobedient nine-year-old hineys! ;) Only Ed could have said that in that place at the time and gotten away with it!!! :D

I looked at a few of the most recent reviews for this story (sorry, it's a weird thing I do) and noticed that Nomme de Plume thinks that Aideen and Nicholas will try to bring back Edward. Uh, no! That can not happen because that would be human transmutation and there's no way in hell Ed would allow that!! As much as I and many others might like to have Edward back, it just can't happen. *cries*
