i knew hughes would do something stupid; he did in the movie. anyway, good chapter, though i feel bad for roy and ed. you said something about lemon... does that mean their relationship gets better? i hope so.

now that i think about it, i don't know if envy has the patience to pretend to be stephen - though he has a good reason - so i'll wait to find out who he is. i look forward to the next chapter!

Ya wanna know something weird? Believe it or not, just the other day I was wondering what Nicholas' and Aideen's last name was. Seriously! (Yes, I have no life and therefore wonder about random things! LOL!!) I remembered that Ed had kept his name when he and Roy got married but I had no idea what the kids' surname was. Well, now I know. I'm kinda sad that they don't have Ed's name as part of their own. I'm surprised that Ed didn't insist that they have his name too since they are his kids too after all. Mustang-Elric or Elric-Mustang maybe? hmm. I guess it could be argued that if Riza had had these kids then they would have just had Roy's name since that's the "traditional" thing to do. Yecch. traditional. not a big fan of that. Why be traditional when these are the most untraditional of kids around? ;) And if Roy thinks Aideen's ego is swollen and almost out of control now, just wait until the little darling is a teenager! yikes! Raging hormones + inflated ego = hell for Papa and Daddy! :D I hate to say it, but something drastic is going to have to happen to rein her in. *sigh* She's far too much like her Daddy. Ed believed there was nothing he couldn't do and look where that got him. ouch. I understand Ed's anger at Roy and would probably have done the same thing - for the first night at most anyway! ;) If I had Roy in my bed every night, I'd be damned if I'd put him out of it for too long! w00t! LOL!

I didn't do a very good job of completely arguing my point in my last review. (I shouldn't say arguing. too negative. Ah! proving. I like that better.) I said that Edward's first error in logic was assuming that he and Ed were just alike. I never bothered to go beyond my first example. I got too riled up and made a mess of pleading my case. Yes, Riza is a big part of why Edward and Roy couldn't/wouldn't be together but she's not a total road block to that happening. There have been, are, and will be plenty of married men, some with children, who suddenly decide to live another life style (i.e. gay or transgender). *grins* Somebody watches too much Oprah and daytime TV! *giggle* Her being in the picture does not make them being together a complete impossibility, just an improbability. maybe! :P *snerk* I'm being so bad! The age difference between Roy and Edward (Edward did say, "I don’t like older men."!) and cultural unacceptance of homosexuality also come into play in this too though I think I mentioned them already.

blecch. I think I've hashed and rehashed that subject to death. Moving on to Stephen. hmm. Yeah, who he is is driving me nuts just like everybody else but I want to be surprised when it's revealed who he is! I'm just not gonna guess anymore. I'm out of guesses. I'm hoping that the big reveal for him is like a huge shocker! I get the feeling that he's somebody important and it's gonna be one of those gasp-and-say-"No way!" moments when he is announced! :D

You did make me nervous when Wrath placed a comforting arm around Edward when they were passing by Alfons' neighborhood and Officer Hughes saw them. whew. That simple gesture if seen by the wrong person coulda gotten them in a boatload of trouble! Risking drawing the attention of a radical Nazi by doing that was a HUGE risk! I hope they're more careful from now on. Good thing Stephen managed to distract Hughes and make him back down! :)
    Update soon!

i had a crazy idea... it just came to me... and i know it's completely wrong, but... *serious face* stephen is envy, huh?

ahaha. told ya it was crazy. anyway, i happen to think that ed seriously overreacted with roy. if their children are so adept at alchemy, how could an alchemic lock stop them from getting what they want if they put their minds to it? but this chapter was good. i just hope hughes doesn't do something stupid after stephen threatened him like that.

i look forward to the next chapter!!

Hmm. Is this new generation of Elric offspring gonna cause alchemy nightmares here? I shiver at the thought of what Ed might have to deal with. Good chap.

Irving?!? Warren?!?! ROFLMAO!!! priceless!! :D Oh, I needed that laugh! :) I know the "pain" of having a name you can't stand but oh dear. Edwena? Oh Al. *shakes head smiling* poor child. :) Sasha however is a great name! I guess it all balances out in the end! ;) I do so love these fluffy moments! The new baby, Roy and Ed being all lovey-dovey *dreamy sigh*, Aideen indirectly calling Ed short *giggle*, Nicholas and Aideen taking off their coats and stuffing them under their shirt then pretending to be Aunt Winry and Daddy!! too cute! LOL!! It should prove very interesting teaching these kids alchemy, especially Aideen. There doesn't seem to be anything her nimble little mind can't grasp.

Interesting theory Edward has about Roy and Ed being together simply because Wrath isn't there. Completely wrong of course but interesting. Edward's first error in logic is that he assumes that Ed is just like him. Beyond physical appearance, Ed is nothing like Edward. Personality, life experience, the people in their lives, how they view the world and how the world views them - all different. Ed is aggressive and outgoing. Edward is passive and cautious. Ed knows and uses alchemy and has suffered its consequences. He got pregnant because of alchemy for Heaven's sake! :) The loss of limbs goes without saying. Edward knows little to nothing of alchemy and is still whole - both mentally and physically. (I say mentally because there were many times that Ed anguished over the death of someone [even killing Greed pained him] not to mention the real price of the Philosopher's Stone.) Ed met Roy at the tender age of 11 (or was it 10?) years old at the lowest point in his life and has spent a lot time gradually developing a relationship with him - from Ed not being able to stand the "smirking bastard" ;) to grudging respect for said bastard to deeply caring for one another to becoming lovers and, finally, to being married with children. Edward's only seen Roy a few times and has no real connection to him. There were many others who helped to mold Ed's life into what it is - Izumi, Maes, Scar, Russell and Fletcher, the homunculi, Dante, etc etc. Ed was abandoned by his father, watched his mother die slowly, was trained by Izumi (an experience in and of itself. left to survive alone on an island for a month?? sheesh!), became a soldier at way too young an age, saw people die and narrowly escaped death several times, and had to deal with freakin' homunculi! Edward, in comparison, has lived an almost completely sheltered life. Lastly, homosexuality is accepted in Amestris while here, in this world, it is still frowned up at best, persecuted at worst. such a tragedy. Whew! I didn't intend for that to get all intense but it did. sorry. My original point was that Edward used flawed logic to explain away the misunderstanding between him and Wrath and it still got him some lovin' from Wrath. :) As long as Wrath chooses to believe the story it doesn't matter if what Edward said could be true or not. It brought them back together which was what Edward wanted to begin with. To state simply that one person (i.e. Wrath) being around another person (i.e. Ed) would change who that person (Ed) falls in love with is just too presumptuous. It ignores all that Ed was and is and gives far too much credit to Wrath. The people we meet effect our lives every day, just not to that degree (IMHO anyway! :D).

Ok, jeez, I've debated for long enough. Sorry 'bout that. Ya hit a nerve with that one. Must think happy thoughts now. Ah, little Sasha! sqwee! kawaii! Roy and Ed play fighting in the grass calling each other by their middle names! *giggles* LOVE IT! :D LOL!
Update soon! (or I'll start refuting theories again! NO-O-O-O!! ROFL!)

Dear Jesus, I've been keeping up with this story awhile, and there's so much to say that you've undoubtedly heard before, but let me tell you the best things about this.

    Believable Mpreg.
    Characters that are actually IC.
    Children dynamics...

AND DEFINITELY THE FACT THAT AL BECOMES A FATHER.

    *Deep breath*

The way he broke it to Ed was absolutely perfect, as was the birth, and when Aideen performed her first transmutation, I actually said something that sounded like "fahrgafas" out loud. Thank you for this amazing story, and... oh LORD, the Wrath x Edward dynamic wins. And... I still can't figure out who the hell Stephen is. It's driving me nuts.

THIS CHAPTER WAS SO CUTE AND WHY AM I TYPING IN BIG LETTER? OH WELL. I LUVD HOW YOU DEVELOPED EDWARD'S AND WRATH'S RELATIONSHIP. AND ALSO HOW AIDEEN SAID ED WAS SHORT BUT NOT REALLY SAYING IT WAS TOO CUTE. AND WINRY WELL LET'S JUST SAY SHE HAS A COLORFUL VOCABULARY EVEN THOUGH WE DIDN'T GET TO HEAR IT. OH AND ONE MORE THING I LIKE THE BABY'S NAME, ITS DIFFERENT AND UNIQUE. XD
