I did that? WOW! I don't even remember picking up on Aideen's odd behavior and asking that! :) not surprising tho. I said I was no good at mysteries. I had a clue to the puzzle and didn't even know it! :D It really breaks my heart to know that the sweet precious innocent little baby that Aideen was, the baby that Roy and Ed loved and devoted themselves to long before she was even born, was born with the soul of a monster in her. ;_; I see the when and where that Dante took possession of Aideen, I'm just a little fuzzy on the how. I'm not arguing the point or anything but I'm confused why none of the five persons there were aware of her presence at the Gate, especially Ed. Ed had at least triple the amount of alchemic power than he normally did and still Dante got past him, past them all for that matter. How then was he, with the twins' help, able to fend off Scar's attack but not Dante's? I'm guessing that they all were so distracted by the Gate itself that they weren't watching their backs making it easier for Dante to slip in unnoticed. Her presence/power was probably masked by the Gate's greater power. GRRR! It's so frustrating!!! My blood pressure goes thru the roof everytime Dante does something smarmy! I hate this bitch!!!! "They didn�t raise me. They just ensured I reached an age where I could survive on my own." Damn this arrogant ass bitch!!!! GRRRRRR!!!! Any why hasn't Aideen's body started to deteriorate anyway?? Is Aideen's alchemic power that strong? It's gotta be if she's able to use herself to open the Gate like she did. And what is up with that weird pose Dante struck to open the portal? I couldn't help but remember the posture Ed assumed at then end of the anime when he opened the Gate and brought Al back. [I'm trying SO hard not to think of the rest of that thought (Ed trapped in our world) because if I do I'll start crying and I'll never get this finished!! *eyes well with tears anyway* dammit! I did it anyway! *sniffle* Where the hell are my tissues? *sobs uncontrollably*]

(half a box of tissues and a several rants of "Damn everybody involved for making such a sad movie!" later...) I feel bad for Russell. They haven't found anything of Wrath (nor are they likely to. Where'd his body go?) leaving Russell with no closure. His pitiful plea of, "I just don�t want to be the one who has to carry on.", was enough to break your heart. :( I'm gonna be honest with you and say that I never was a fan of Riza's - yours, the anime's, anybody's, doesn't matter. I like her OK, I guess, maybe. I do want her to go home to her children and her Roy ('cause she can't have mine!! LOL *glomps Roy* Hail to the Fuhrer!! :D). It's strange that automail doesn't seem to bother her at all but the concept of gay love totally freaks her out. Oh! Thanks so much for the bit of fluff at the end with Roy and Ed placing their hands over each other's hearts! :) It's been a while since we've had any fluffiness and I've missed it. :) I'm betting that it will be Hohenheim who figures out that Dante is hiding in Aideen. Since he knows Dante the best he's the most likely to pick up on some behavior of hers and put the pieces together. Somebody better do it fast before she lays so much as a finger on either Roy or Ed! grrr!!

you write the best Dante! She is a wicked, evil, rotten bitch! Gosh, I just don't even know what to say anymore! This story is so amazing! All your characters are so well developed! Okay I was wrong last time and I'm probably wrong this time...but she dosen't need a baby anymore, and she put her hand over her stomach...and she slept with Philip?!?!!?!?

GAH! You make my brain hurt with your amazing plot!!!!!

Wow! I totally confused myself as to who Dante was! Another fantastic two chapter! Man the action was amazing! Dante is a hard core bitch, she has to be the evilest villian ever! What is that damn woman plotting?!?! And gosh! Bringing Riza over was the agnstyest thing you could do! Once again I'm on the edge of my seat!

Ok, this is so crazy random but I'm gonna tell you anyway. :) So, I was just in the car flipping back and forth between stations looking for something good on the radio when I happened to hear this song, "In My Daughter's Eyes" by Martina McBride. Now, I don't go for country type music but I paused on it long enough to catch some of what was said and it got me to thinking of Aideen. Bear with me on this! :) The song said something to the effect of how proud the mom was of the daughter, how much the daughter had changed her life, how she could see the future in her child's eyes, and other things about how much better the world was for having the daughter in it. I thought of how proud Roy and Ed are of Aideen and how devastated they are going to be when they discover that Aideen has been harboring Dante all this time. *sigh* Obsessed much? :) Probably! LOL! My brain works in weird ways sometimes. I told you it was random as hell! :)

OK. Answer me this. When (and there is no if here) everyone finally knows that Dante is in Aideen, how will they get her out? What will happen to Aideen once Dante is cast out? Where is Aideen's soul? Can Aideen come back or, once Dante is gone, will Aideen die? Are Riza and Hohenheim trapped on this side of the Gate? What will happen to Earth Roy et al now that Eckhart and her crew are gone thru the Gate never to return? I think this chapter generated more questions than it did answers! :) [side note: Did you know that there was a real Eckhart? There was no "Dietlinde" Eckhart but there was a "Dietrich" Eckhart. He was never a member of the Thule Society (which also really existed) and was close to Hitler. I never knew that so much of the movie was taken from real life! Can ya tell I'm easily impressed? XD] I think you have me confused with someone else for figuring out who Dante was at the chimera attack because I had no idea that Dante was Aideen until you spelled it out for me. I'm no good at mysteries. I mean, look at the way I was freaking out! :) Someone who had it all figured out wouldn't panic like that! LOL!! It might have been this shirk who found it "annoyingly predictable and confusing" (ouch!!) who knew all along. Simple little me was clueless. :( I'm trying really hard to remember when in For Her For Him that Dante had an opportunity to invade Aideen. I can't think of a time when Ed was alone with Lyra/Dante for long enough for her to have the time to infect the unborn Aideen. *pouts* This is something else you're gonna have to explain to me! :)

Aideen/Dante's attempts to turn Ed and Roy against one another are futile at best. They've been together too long and been thru too much for that shit to work. I don't think Riza will cause a breakup either - especially once Frank tells her everything about how the twins came to be and that Roy and Ed are married, a concept that she is not willing to deal with. Granted Riza will be a source of pain for them because seeing her is like seeing a ghost, a walking talking reminder of what could have been. That's a scary thought! It's VERY disconcerting to meet someone who looks just like someone who has died. I remember when an uncle of mine died and his brother showed up at my aunt's house after the funeral. It was the creepiest feeling ever to see this man who looked just like my uncle talk about my uncle! I was so unnerved that I could barely stay in the same room with him!! It really was like it was my uncle, who we all knew was gone from this world, had come back and was sitting there talking with the family about himself like nothing had happened!! It absolutely gave me chills!! *shivers* So, when Roy felt like the world was crumbling around him, I can honestly say that I know exactly where he's coming from! I hope Riza can go back thru the Gate if for no other reason than it would take her back to her family and she would be out of a situation she's incapable of handling. If she's stuck here, she will be completely miserable without her Roy and her children, not to mention that alchemy is a way of life in Amestris, and she'd have to deal with the sad regretful maybe even confused looks on everyone's faces everywhere she went. Hearing, "I thought you were dead!", all the time would drive you nuts! :) Nicholas will be happy to get to spend some time with this pseudo mother of his if nothing else. I may not be Russell's #1 fan but I'm not completely cold-hearted where he is concerned. I do feel for him right now. He's going to shatter once he finds Wrath's body. That's a pain I wouldn't wish on anybody.

Hoh Shit! I had a dirty feeling it was Aideen, especially with her acting skills and whatnot. And you also mentioned the charcoal eyes and the green ones getting closer to her secret. i just didn't think she'd been in Aideen's body for that long, that was fucked up and brillant. You have me on the edge of my seat once again, and i totally look forward to more!! :D

WHAT!?!?!?! Red coat?! Black boots?! Mother was a skilled marksman?! AAAAAAAAHH!! NOMDEPLUME!! NOOOOOOO!!! I can't believe you did this to me!!!! *gasp* OMG!!! AIDEEN?!?!?! AAAAAAAAHH!! OMG! I knew that the big reveal of who Dante was would be unbelieveable - I just didn't think it would be THIS unbelieveable!! :P Oh! My head is reeling man! Oh Jesus. I am so stunned right now you would not believe it! :) I was just so sure that Rose would be it. DAMMIT!!! Congratulations my dear Nomdeplume! :) This chapter rocked! XD If I didn't love all the hell you put me thru I'd kill ya for tormenting me so!!! LOL!! Oh wow. I got so excited when I found this chapter that I could barely sit still long enough to read it! :D I was SO excited in fact that I had to stop like every other paragraph and take a deep breath to try and calm down - I was that anxious! :) It didn't help that I had people trying to talk to me while I was reading either dammit! GAH!!! STFU PEOPLE!!! Important shit happening over here!!! Leave me alone!!! grr!!! *deep breath* Ok. Sorry for ranting. I hate being interrupted in the middle of something important! OH! I probably should kill you for killing Wrath!! NOOOO!! Why, Nomdeplume, why? T_T Russell will be devastated! :( Speaking of Russell, you said he was buttoning up his uniform jacket when he came to help Fletcher. I didn't know, or maybe I conveniently forgot, that he was a military man. It just struck me as odd. I wanna know what his state issued name is now! :)

Dammit! It's taking forever to write this review! My hands won't stop shaking! :) Adrenaline rush is a killer! :) whew! fidgety.

The one I feel the most for right now is Ed. Not only is his daughter Dante *sobs uncontrollably* but Hohenheim has returned to further screw with Ed's head! Whoa! Hohenheim has come home to find his granddaughter is possessed by his former lover!! Crucial!! :D Ed now has to deal with Aideen's possession AND Hohenheim! That totally sucks! :) Poor Ed. The confrontation between Hohenheim and Dante will just be Hell on Earth (so to speak!) for him. ;_; Alas my beloved Roy is oblivious to the devastation that has befallen his family. *sobs*

Aideen is Dante. Man, that hurts my heart. :( At least Eckhart is dead. That's one good thing to come from all this. The other thing that made me smile was Ed's uniquely colorful language! :D "Stubborn little shit." ""Well, we have to wait until�" There was an explosion not far from them. "�Son of a bitch!�that thing isn�t firing directly at us."" "Oh, stop being a smug little bastard." ROFL! Three fine examples of Ed being Ed! Ed might have watched his language when the twins were little but I see that has fallen by the wayside! Love it, love it!! XD Nicholas did get to see his kinda sorta mom. That was nice even if it did make me a bit misty eyed. How will Riza, or even CAN Riza, go back thru the Gate?? whoa. Makes me nervous to think about what it will take to make that happen! :[ Ugh. Adrenaline rush is worn off and I'm crashing fast. *collapses*

You killed wrath... Meh I never had any special fondness for him and it was a decent death. You can't say its aideen now because wraths reaction would most certainly have been different my money would be on fletcher but you had him have his shirt off so... I swear if it turns out to be aideen I will hunt you down for horrible writingness!

*eyes wide, hand covering gaping mouth* OH....MY....GOD!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAHH!!! Nomdeplume!!!! Are you trying to kill me?!?!?!? *gasps* Oh Wrath. *tears welling* Please be OK. Oh damn. *rubs cheeks* My jaw hurts from hanging open thru most of this chapter! :) I think I was holding my breath for most of it too so don't be surprised if this review makes no sense 'cause I think I have oxygen deprivation from not breathing! LOL!! I seriously doubt that anybody cares that Tucker is dead. Hell, I've been wanting that sonofabitch gone for ages! :D I will be ever so glad when Aideen finally grows up and stops being such a little pain in the ass. drama queen. How Ed kept from killing Phillip on the spot I will never know! :) How dare this little shit put his hands on Ed's baby girl!! *giggle* Nicholas isn't much better either! It was sweet how protective he was of his sister! :) Fletcher made another snide comment about Roy (OK, it was a thought but that's close enough for me! Hardass?!? Why you little...! *attacks Fletcher*) so I've put him on my temporarily non-redeemable list (which is subject to change at a moment's notice!) right next to his brother! mangy little bastard. grr!! (Ah the blind faith and devotion of a loyal guard dog that I have! Ain't it great? ROFL!) The only thing keeping him from going permanent is that he's found a way to find Dante. Oh but wait. Hohenheim too but I'm too spazzed about everything else going on to get too worked up over him right now. sorry bastard. Roy might get to see Riza again! Well, kinda again. It's not his Riza but close enough! :) I feel for Munich Roy. I really like him. Oh no! Something could go horribly wrong and Riza might die - again! *cries* Amestris Roy will be devastated!! Hell, both Roys will be! *sobs* I can't take it. Hang on! Hold up! Wait just one damn minute here! "The dramatics of the Mustang family were really growing to be too much." the hell?? I thought she liked giving "the brat and his family" hell. *rolls eyes* Ed's a grown man and she still calls him a brat. stupid cow. :P These dramatics wouldn't be that big of a problem with her unless she was directly involved in them meaning that...*eyes widen and gasps* oh shit! Is Rose Dante???? OMG! That would explain how she's been able to walk right past everybody unnoticed because she's been disguised as part of the inner circle all along! dammit! She's got that necklace and everything! Fat lot of good that damn thing did. *cries* THAT'S how she was able to be at parties and such and see everything going on! THAT'S how she's been able to walk around Central undetected! THAT'S why none of the troops searching for her have been able to find her! Nobody pays mousy little Rose any attention. DAMMIT! She's been right under their noses all along! It's the perfect hiding place! "With a clap of her hands and a scream of pain from the large man, she opened to Gate." DAMMIT! Just damn it all straight to Hell!! I think you really are trying to kill me leaving me with a cliffhanger like that! :) Whew! I'm spent after reading a chapter like that! :)

P.S. *giggle* I liked how Roy referred to Al's kids as a litter! I do that too!! How many does he have now anyway? What threw me about the petting charcoal thing was that "charcoal" wasn't capitalized making it a name and not just a noun. petting Charcoal = petting the family cat. petting charcoal = Uh, why would you pet a briquette? see? That capital "C" makes all the difference! :)
