Defiantly one of the best stories I have ever read. I'm not sure how many times I've read this story, I just know it never gets boring. =) The plot was great and I loved the very in character interactions between the characters. Your a very talented author and I hope you continue to write more. And just out of curiosity is there any chance for a sequel?

Wow!! Way to bring me back to the fanfic world!! To be honest, I read this entire story in just one go, that's how enthralled I was! Took me about 10 hours do I have nothing better to do?? lololol No it was just because it was that awesome! The way Goten and Trunks relationship was depicted broke my heart in very pleasing ways! I am a Truten fan all the way and it was amazing following their heartbreak. Breakups are tough and I loved their pain! And the way Gohan was introduced into Trunks life was magnificent, it was done just the right way! Since I am a Truten fan I will say it made me a little sad to learn that Trunks and Goten had let go of that part of themselves, but for the sake of the plot and the people that rooted for Gohan it was fair and had it's good ending nonetheless!! This story has made my day for a few days! Thands and awesome job!

Oh my god, I love the ending!!! What a brilliant end to a brilliant fic....please please please write more Gohan/Trunks stories! Not Gohan/MiraiTrunks but the bratty Prince Trunks that everyone loves to love or hate. LOL. You are a great story-teller and I am so happy for sticking to this story since it's creation!

Awesome. This story is so well written that it makes you wonder if the author is a long time professional. From the vocabulary to character development and dialogue, she made it all fit perfectly. I think my favorite thing of all was the insight into each character. The reasons why they were together and the reasons why the should not. The story slowed down on the last 2 chapters, but I think they were a nice addition in case you wanted it to never end.
I really hope 'Veronica' continues to write, I loved her style. Highly recommended. Thanks for a great read ♥.

What a beautiful conclusion (:
I liked the fact that Gohan had put Trunks certain insecurities to rest.
Of course they have alot of hardships to get through what with Chichis disapproval of their relationship but I'm sure they can get through it together.
I was wondering whether the whole Trunks "dinner date" issue was going to be mentioned at all in the last chapters but I'm glad it was....it would give Gohan some relief (as Goten insinuated) that he doesn't have competition for Trunks affections.
Have I mentioned before how much I like the character Kim? haha I probably have but I thought I'd just mention it again :D
Normally I don't like many non-canon characters but Kim was just hilarious hehe.
I've enjoyed reading this story immensely and I'm gonna miss reading it (:

I love you, V. Partly for ending on a good note with Goku (you know I luv him), and partly for the LOL moments (like Trunks' fear of his father and Goten w/food), but I think it was a combination of this:

***Something about Trunks�s willing submissiveness spoke to every instinct that told him to dominate; every cell inside him that was still untamed primate and he was driven by a force he didn�t entirely understand and very rarely acknowledged.***

...and this:

***Vegeta planted one clean, white boot between his shoulder blades and leaned down on his knee. �One thousand push-ups. Now.�***

....and this:

***�What if I told you I didn�t do my homework? Would you teach me a lesson?�***

....that made the ending so good. :D

Congrats on the big fat COMPLETE. Poor Goten. I still feel sorry for him!

Ahem. I don't even know where to start here.

To begin with, I must reiterate that you did all the work. Making comments afterwards is easy, lol.

Now. You already know what I think, but I must display it publicly. This chapter is very good. A strong ending to the story, providing needed closure, with enough of an opening for a continuation later. The sex was beautifully done, and the dialogue between the two of them ("That was uh--. Amazing") was adorable, funny and believable. ("Is that crabmeat I taste?") Lol. Anyway, the stories of all the characters, including the OCs, were wrapped up nicely. I'll say it again; the part with Vegeta and Bulma in this chapter was spot-on. Even the Chi-Chi drama was made okay by the fact that nobody was humouring her--I do hope that she gets some character redemption in the sequel, incidentally. It was good to see that Goten was okay, too, even though we knew from the last chapter. And the scene at the very end was hilarious. Somehow the perfect ending, because Gohan is never going to be Trunks's as fully as Goten was. He has other obligations that will get in the way. But it's okay because they'll work around it--even if they do have to escape out a window now and then ;)

The story as a whole was well crafted, too (and I must point out that you did all of that without my help). You claim to have not known how it would turn out until chapter 14 and I believe you--I'm no stranger to that sentiment myself--but it really doesn't show, I don't think. You provided at least the illusion of being completely in control the whole time, which is really the best we can aspire to when these things run away on us. But it's well put together, well paced, well plotted, well characterized, well conceived, well everything-ed.

I can think of nothing else to say that wouldn't be pointless rambling, so I will close with this. Congratulations, Vernoica, congratulations. You've done it. AFF will not be the same, not having to wait for this to be updated (how will I spend my spare time for the next seven months? Lol, just kidding. It was worth it).

So take a deep breath. Pat yourself on the back. And then get started on the sequel! Such is the life of a writer, and you're one of the best.

This was the most amazing fanfic I have ever read.
I was very, very unsure about reading a GohanxTrunks at first, but... I gave this a try and I couldn't look away at all.
This was so amazing and I love it so much. I wish that I could fav things on this site! Ugh. This will probably be something that I will read over and over again and make my best friend read, yes, all that jazz. XD
This is probably one of my favorite pairings now, thank you. I will probably have to give it a go and write one myself for these two.
I can't wait for you to write the next one, I hope you are still planing on doing it~ I'm so excited to see if you will.

Yipeee, they finally got together!! I'm so happy for Trunks and Gohan. Lol, I think I read in your author's notes that you might write a threesome between Trunks and the brothers and that would be soo hot!! Please update more! I want to see how their relationship blossoms.

aw yay! Gohan and Trunks finally got their acts together and made up....and made out :D
I'm soooo happy!!! haha.
I'm also glad that Goten and Goku are gonna try to repair their father and son relationship....they really do need to work on their issues.
Lmfao Trunks makes me laugh....the whole pouring the champagne on his jeans was so Trunks-like but I loved the little comment Gohan made shortly after that little moment hehe.

Hm, I'm tempted to agree with quatreofdoom up above me, but...no. This works. Most certainly.

Okay first, and I'm going to start with one of the less consequential things, I really liked the jumping off a building metaphor. Why, I don't know, but it was just...really good. I don't know.

With that out of the way, I have to say that Goten completely stole the show in this chapter. His scenes, and his conversation with Gohan most especially, were just utterly perfect. You really, really showcased his growing maturity here, I feel, making him more identifiable (to me, at least). I particularly liked the line about "The childhood that he selfishly clung too even now;" He's aware that he needs to start acting more like the adult that he's becoming, it seems to me. And I'm really glad that He's going to give Goku another chance, and that Goku himself has finally realized some of his own shortcomings. Because now, even though he didn't get Trunks back in the end, at least not in the romantic context (which I would have been okay with, by the way XD), you've given the impression that he's going to be alright, and I'm glad he'll still get to be happy. Well done.

Now, the date. Fabulous. You were worried about it being cheesy; it totally wasn't (I, however, spent the whole scene sighing like a fucking fourteen-year-old girl. No offence to any former fourteen-year-old girls who might be reading this). It was really quite adorable, the whole damn thing. Trunks being all shy and unsure was awesome, as well as strangely in character for him. It's always nice to see the arrogant prince get caught off-guard; and it totally makes sense (especially after you explained it, lol), because I can see him not being used to not knowing what to do.

I think someone else already mentioned it, but I'm kinda getting that 'happily ever after' vibe here. Are you getting close to a conclusion? Or is everything about to go to hell again? I certainly can't wait for the chapter, now (especially if you're going to write that sex scene instead of just fading to black and starting it the next day or something ;).

So, all in all, I decree this to be totally worth the wait. You nailed it.

You know, I literally squeaked when I saw that this had been updated. XD (Oh, in case you didn't know--and I have a nagging suspicion that you might--I'm Rayne! Yay, pen names!) Anyway, well done! This chapter was certainly worth the wait. It just puts me at ease after all the intense drama from previous chapters. Geez, you have my heart all in this story!! But I simply loved the way you wrote Goku for this chapter. He acted here the way I imagine that he would: strong and caring but just a wee bit (or a lot bit) naive. His love for his sons, especially Goten, was wonderfully expressed here. I particularly loved the part where he told Goten that he would have his back no matter what Chichi said or did. (I'm quite interested in what she has to say, actually.)

But when Gohan jumped off the building and everybody saw them flying and whatnot! O_O I'd like to know the repercussions of that! Luckily, Gohan came to please; that kiss was probably scorching hot! HA! Gohan, you little devil, you. And then whisking the boy off to a secluded beach for a date (among other things)! Surprisingly (or not so?), Trunks' first date! Lovely stuff.

Oh, and yes, I finished my papers (they were pretty mild things, to be honest), but now I'm putting together a right spiffy poster presentation for an upcoming conference. Definitely wigging out about it. This chapter kinda kept me sane for a minute, lol. I look forward to another update! Soon would be great (ie. AWESOME), but whenever you can. :D
