Bravo! A wonderful piece. You must have put a lot of thought into this. I love the implicatiosn that Ed as a child never really knew what was going on. All your deeper characterisations are utterly convincing.

My one criticism would be that in the first two chapters there was an awful lot of activity involving alcohol and a glass. I get that they are both heavy drinkers, but it just came up enough that I noticed and left the story a little.

Oh dear Christ no. Not another story to be obsessed with! I'm just NOW getting over your other one!! Damnit! Why do you have to be so damn brilliant? *jealous, jealous*

I'm so glad that you actually have intellect in your stories. All I see on here is mostly sex, sex, sex... and, well, it IS adultfanfiction, but at least some stories could have planned out ideas to come with them? But all of your stories bring out such emotion, have just the right amount of physical contact and draw people in. I think that's why I love your stories so much.

Ahaha, it's really great to see an emotional side of Roy Mustang. And Ed, although he's 34, still seems childish in some respects... which is true Ed fashion.

Gosh I really can't wait to see what you have in store for us. This will be mind-boggling, won't it?

    Can't wait til next time!

I really love this story, it's so sweet and gentle and yet in places it's also insightful and deep.
Here's hoping for another quick update.

I'm trying to figure out, from this chapter, if you are going to set up a way for Ed and his younger self to bump into eachother. ^^; It would be rather interesting to see how that goes!

As always, you add an incredible amount of depth into Ed and Roy, and its always a pleasure to read. Thanks for the chapter!

I can't wait for the next one!

I can't recall reading such a heartfelt and character realistic story. This is a great story, it's well written, it flows well, and I love how gracefully you've showed different sides to both of these brilliant characters. Seeing a real, more 'human' side of Roy Mustang is tantilizing and wonderful. Seeing the change in Ed, especially the age difference, it's rewarding because I truly feel as though that is how Ed would be at that age. Please continue writing this, I can't wait to read more, and thank you for uploading such a beautiful story.

Your story is, frankly, beautiful. I love the way they aren't just falling into each other's arms and going at it, not that there's anything wrong with that, in it's place. The characters are very human in this fic. Well done. I would like to know when you update. My email's ember_wolfrider@hotmail.com

This piece is beautiful, actually beautiful, I even felt myself tearing up a few times when reading it. I love how you can take on such delicate topics and treat them with tenderness and understanding while appealing to the reading.
Your portrayal of Roy and Ed are, well, lovely, you give them such depth and as a reader I couldn't help but ache for their seperate situations. Poor Roy! Poor Ed!
I hope Ed doesn't disappear, he couldn't leave Ed!
Loving the piece, will be eagerly awaiting the next update.

most of that was just too sad. and yet, it was also kind of hopeful. and fearful for such hope. urgh! now's not that time to wax philosophical, ne?

this story is already so moving. i love it. i just know, though, that i am going to cry like a friggin' baby if and when ed returns to his time and place. it'll be so sad! though, i must say i'm intrigued as to how mustang will interact with little ed when he has interacted romantically with older ed, you know?

anyway, love it. want more. you know the shtick. Rock out!

It's interesting to see this side of a relationship. You describe it very well and in a way some people probably have never even experienced. It's wonderful, really. I wish you well in finishing this fic! :)

    Please excuse my spelling... lol

Wow, I'm speechless. That was just so...You handled the subject matter brilliantly. Ed's reaction to what Roy was saying was so real. I love that you've humanised Roy, most stories have him like he was in the anime, kinda stuffy and always in charge of any situation. You've taken that away, you let him cry and be someone who has emotions. I love your writing, it's so emotive and real. Please update soon.
