*sniff sniff* Moon still checks about once a week to see if this story is being worked on. I hope that soon you will have the time and or interest to finish it. With love!

Oh, this was very good! The pacing is refreshing. Not too fast, not unbearably slow either. I never wanted to stop reading it. I hope you have the next chapter up soon. I'm actually not even into shota, but the plot is so intriguing and the story is written so well that I had to sort of put that aside and read it anyway, haha. I eagerly await more chapters. ;)

Wow--this first chapter is really good (and really long!)! Everyone was so in character, and all the events were very plausible for the DBZ-verse. Is there a chapter 2 to this story? Dare I ask for a 3, 4, or 5? : )

This is currently my favorite fanfic. You are such a great author and I love to see new authors to the fandom. And you're over 25, all the better because it reflects in your work. I can literally read the maturity. There are a few authors here on aff.net who need to get over themselves, but you seem to value every review. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. Gohan is my favorite character in DBZ followed by Mirai Trunks and then Goku...so you can put two and two together, no? The idea behind this fanfic makes great sense to me and I'm excited to see how this plays out. Each charcter's personality really fits as well; you seem to have a talent for that. Few authors have excited me as much as your current work has. Have you written for any other fandoms? I can't wait to read the next chapter of this.

I greatly enjoyed this and can add nothing that chayron hasn't already said. A well written piece and with particularly well developed characterisation. It was a pleasure and an ease to read and played seamlessly in front of my eyes.

    Thank you

The storyline is slowly but steadily weaving itself forward just like Gohan is acquiring his muscle.

The chapter gives me the feeling that Gohan is very suppressed. He does everything what he is told. He has an incredible sense of duty but it’s exactly what flattens him to the ground. Despite he hates the neighbor and questions Goku’s reasoning, he never disobeys or voices it out. He takes it all: sprained joints, blows, unconsciousness without voicing it out, just swallowing all of it. It doesn’t even have a sense of bitterness, just disappointment. It makes me cringe and wait for Gohan to explode. That light hesitation that Gohan showed before answering when Trunks asked whether Gohan knew that he was on his side… It is also worrying. Maybe I’m digging too deep or just seeing things, though. It’s that angst and drama freak in me.

As I have already mentioned to Lord Truhan, I found the continuous description of training and the list of exercises they were performing somewhat tedious. I would suggest reducing the amount of that. But on the other hand, the title itself “Training Gohan” suggest that it would consist of training, so I suppose it’s just logical all that thorough description.

    1. “Eventually, Trunks became his full-time tutor. At night, they would spend the hours before bed studying calculus, trigonometry, and physics until Gohan could barely keep his eyes open any longer.” Oh joy. Made me shiver, but Gohan the Future Scholar stands before my eyes already. It’s all Trunks’ merits, obviously. And Lord Truhan’s too. All those degrees and negative thermal expansions made my head spin.

    2. “He looked slightly ridiculous: a grown man wearing nothing but canary yellow tights, skipping across the road and chanting happily. Has he completely lost it? Gohan couldn’t help but wonder.”

True, true. Goku had never had it together in first place. Poor Gohan. He earns the money, and Goku buys him shorts without lining. I think someone ought to find a job to be able to buy his son some clothing. And then Goku tells Chichi that he was the one to earn the money… Our usual Goku with delicacy of a brick.

    3. ““I hang the laundry out every morning!” He insisted in a last-ditch effort to defend himself. Gohan and Trunks shared a private grin behind Chichi’s back as the couple continued bickering.
“Oh, you do not,” she said with annoyance. “You probably just stand there looking stupid while Trunks does it.”

Yeah. Goku’s really good at that.

    4. “Also, he could make up valuable time by cutting out this seemingly meaningless swimming. But Gohan quickly banished the thought, reminding himself of the greater purpose of milk delivery.”

A great catch of his character. Righteousness seeping from every pore. No matter how hard, no matter how straining, Gohan will push himself as much as he can. Straight to Saiyaman. Really, an amazing portrayal.
