    Hello,

I just wanted to say how much I enjoy this story. You have in my opinion really captured the "voice" of Trowa. Plus, the fact that you had him & Heero fall for each other in such a realistic way for them both...amazing. They are my favorite pairing in Gundam Wing & it seems like an under appreciated one. Thank you so much for this story & your other 1x3/3x1 tales. I re-read them whenever I need a fix. Your characterizations are fantastic, the humans beautifully flawed, the sex is believable & hot & I love them!!!

    Thank you again,

    ~ Ivy

You've created such a rich and well-developed background for Trowa. Reading this really makes me feel like I understand and know his character that much better. It's exciting to see the events of the show from his perspective. The way you write makes his feelings seem so real and relateable. I loved the imagery when Trowa was running through the trees. This is such a great focus on a character.

I just discovered this story and would like to congratulate the author on their high quality work. I for one would like to ask as to the progress of any subsequent chapters and offer (entirely self serving) encouragement to the author regarding posting more material. You've done a wonderful job combining a personal tone with an impersonal character in a believable, interesting and entertaining manner.
In other words - I know how freaking difficult first person pieces are to write - mad props to you.

i am so sad I didnt look for 1x3x1 fics on aff sooner. so so sad. I really love your take on both Heero and Trowa and do not blame you in the slightest for hooking them up in this fic. The build up via going through the series was fantastic! Thanks so much for sharing.

so i'm pretty sure i'm just in love with your style of writing. i'm not kidding, i have read everything you have posted and it's just wonderful!! you have a real talent for balancing angst with lemon and the development of the characters is always on-point with the story. i check a couple times a week for updates, it's just amazing!!

and normally i'd do this through an email or something but i don't really know how to contact you any other way than through a review...so feel free to delete this after. BUT i'm working on a chapter for my fic "Surprises" and for the first time i find myself in want of a beta. i was wondering if you'd be interested? feel free to read the story, the chapter i would have for you is Heero's. since i admire your ability to develop characters i just thought i'd ask! if not, no worries =)

    keep writing!! i love it

i thought i wasnt going to like this story. i kept seeing it every time i was in this section and going hmm, neh. i finally gave in yesterday and read it and i must say its really good. trowa is my fav pilot but he's growing on me. i could believe that the two of them have brief sex in the anime (away from the public's eyes). i liked it even when i thought there was going to be no sex and was shocked to see it in there but it went with the story. keep it up!

The intimacy was believable. Its the placement of the characters that was difficult to follow. I would have liked to know where they were standing or at least a reminder so that I don't forget. Otherwise, it was pretty well down.

I'm not signed in, since my husband keeps clearing my cache on my browser, no doubt to hide the links to whatever porn he's been peeking at. But whaddever.

I enjoyed this, yet again. The sex scene was breathtaking, not just because of the smut itself, but just at the tension between these two, and their stubbornness, how they both know "this can't happen. this didn't happen." It's an amazing thing when two people who care about each other can actually push each other away in the interest of protecting each other and not letting themselves be trapped. You've been faithful to the series, certainly, but this is something that could easily happen off-panel and behind the scenes, it follows what you've shown us of these characters up until now. Trowa's concerns for Heero and his approach to him were caring and very erotic. I love that Heero took the first step, and very aggressively. It was very much in character.

Trowa being angry with him for making his suit "Heero's tomb" was eloquent and well done. That made this very real. Thanks so much for updating this story.

Wow! Damn if you didn't give a few surprises in this chapter^_^. This chapter had me talking to myself. I was all prepared to see a physical altercation or argument but when Heero kissed Trowa I was like 'Wait...what!?'. It was a surprise but a welcomed one. I was totally sucked in and turned on by their getting together. You have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of because the scene was as intense as the characters. Very believable.

I wasn't surprised that Trowa didn't realize that he cared until Heero said it. After his life of no connections and little emotions it was no wonder he wouldn't recognize what was developing between Heero and him. To me you did get across a sense of sadness even in the midst of all that hotness. They stated upfront that nothing happen before anything did. It was like Heero was grasping what he could because he knew Trowa was leaving. Trowa,at the same time, was inwardly telling himself he wasn't suppose to feel or want any connections;that it was bad. He immediately afterwards tried to stem his feelings by burying himself in his goal of getting Treize. This was well written and I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

absolutely wonderful story so far. I love how you've put so much thought into even the simplest of actions that Trowa makes while keeping to the original story line. it really adds depth to his character that we missed during the original and I honestly can't wait to see where you take this. please continue this! =]

This definitely brought back the best elements of the arc of this series, Heero's interrupted duel with Zechs. That's one of my favorite episodes, and you've reminded me why. I love the tension and Trowa's continued musings and worries about Heero, even if he would never say out loud that he's worried. The punch summed it up pretty well. I love the way Trowa's thoughts hardened so much when he was fighting the suit, then how he softened a great deal once he was with Heero again, not in terms of being affectionate at all, but just being vigilant around him, backing him up, being present for him without smothering him. That's totally Trowa.

I can't imagine how hard it is to get back into the flow of this story after being away for awhile but,to me, you succeeded. I think the jumble of emotions in this chapter well represent the inner-conflict going on inside Trowa. It's like his awakenening sense of self awareness is bumping up against the soldier mode he has always been able to place himself in to do what he had to do. Trowa is finding thoughts and feelings that he was able to suppress or ignore before more difficult to contain. I can well imagine him not knowing what to make of these changes in himself.

I totally understand why he punched Heero. I think I would've punched him to after all the time and effort Trowa put into patching Heero up and helping him heal. It was like the Noventa episode all over again just instead of handing Zechs a gun he went out of his way to disadvantage himself in their fight. I wonder if Trowa knew he could get angry enough to punch anyone? This addition to the story didn't lose me,it just made me more eager for the next chapter.

It took me two days and constant interruptions but I finally finished reading all the chapters so far. It was so worth the effort. This is a wonderful character study of Trowa. The voice you give him rings very true to how he would react to situations considering his childhood or lack thereof.
You see the growth of character from him reacting as he thinks he should to his own awakening sense of self. Especially the more time he spends with Heero.
This is a well-written story that I am thoroughly enjoying. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Yep definitely a filler, but pretty well written. There was a typo though.
