Oh, that lady is a fireball. I can certainly see where, if Vegeta is into strong women, she would be attrative to him.

The detail he went into to discribe her has me believing he was truely enthralled with this woman.

I have to think it was lucky for her that Frieza didn\'t want her, and Vegeta was up to the challange.

Hmmmm, I wonder what Zarbon\'s real concerns are. He seemed to care a little too much about one slave girl.

Nice chapter.

Each time you bring in a new character (not just in tis story) I\'m astounded. The life you give to all of them...I can only wonder, why aren\'t you writing books of your own? You\'re certainly more than capable. If you do decide to write a book, please let me know about it. I\'d love to read it. This was another wonderful chapter of boundless quality and I hope to see more soon.

STILL THE BEST FIC I HAVE EVER READ, in all the eight years I have been reading fanfction. I\'ve said this before in email, I know.

You\'ve got Vegeta re-telling his horrible past, but at the same time you\'ve got a completely DIFFERENT character retelling Vegeta retelling his past. It\'s great how the lives of Dr Camden and Vegeta contrast so much. You make us feel a deep sorrow and understanding for the Dr, and we find ourselves agreeing with his views, but then, you pull us into Vegeta\'s world, and we find ourselves contradicting our earlier behaviour and seeing the Dr through Vegeta\'s o so different eyes.

There are soo many different views and ways of thinkning, it\'s so hard to get your head round it all. It\'s amazing how you are able to write in so many different and ways, you must be able to understand people very well from your ability to totaly transform your writing to suit the character you\'ve created. And another truly amazing thing is just how you\'ve mannaged to create a completely original character, how you\'ve mannaged to actualy make him a person by showing us his views, feelings, and everything. God it\'s so hard to find the right words to describe just how much I love this story. I\'m glad you\'ve finaly found a place where you can write it without it getting deleted, maybe now I\'ll get to see the ending.

Whoo! Another four chapters down and is my mind spinning. The chapter in which the young boys were being sacrificed as they prayed...I was completely on the edge of my seat. That was intense.

And the way Zarbon takes care of Vegeta so far, I couldn\'t help but say, \"aww..\" as I read. The poem that Zarbon says when he refers to Vegeta as Valique, I love that! As much as I pity Zarbon I swear I\'m jealous of him for getting to embrace Vegeta the way he does. If I ever had the chance I\'m sure I\'d be slapped away and told I know nothing of pain. Ah, well. I love the story nonetheless.

I\'ll hit up some more chapters later. Spacing out the reading gives me something to look forward to just in case no one updates.

You know I was trying hard to leave SOMETHING for later, but I\'m weak when it comes to things I want to read. It was only a matter of time before I gave in. What started off as \"just one more chapter before I get some much needed sleep\" became \"Sleep? FUCK SLEEP! I don\'t need sleep! Must keep reading.\"

I must have been on the brink of tears at least three times. Reading on as the letters were obscured by the growing wetness in my eyes. Vegeta\'s skinning, being brought back to Frieza\'s ship after their escape, and Zarbon\'s plea for Vegeta to kill him...those had me sniffling and blinking hard, trying to force everything back. God, I love when stories screw around with my feelings.

I can\'t wait to see how the next chapter fucks with my emotions, so update again soon.

Have I told you how I could just sit for HOURS and read this story? How enthralled with the naration I am? hehe, In fact I HAVE sat for hours, reading this story. I love it.

Hmmmm, this chatper was a conformation of how much Zarbon meant to Vegeta. Something which I wish some day I\'ll comprehend.

Dr. Tanzil (sp?) is sooooo lucky getting this first hand. Lucky man with a tape recorder, not to mention a beautiful/handsom narrator. (and an author behind it all to enthrall the masses)

Okay, it took me longer than expected to get to this story, but what can I say...my family is distracting, to say the least.

Anyway, I\'ve just finished the fourth chapter and I\'m positively amazed. Actually, I feel that I should rummage through the dictionary to at least try to find better words to convey how I feel about this story, but as with \"Monster\" it would be pretty useless. Maybe I should just start making up new words. I think the setting has a lot to do with my fascination with this story. I find it refreshingly original, and your descriptions gave an eerieness to it that puts me a bit on edge. I like that.

I\'ll read more tomorrow, but for now I must sleep, or I\'ll end up sleeping through class again. Normally I wouldn\'t care, but I\'ve slept through too many already and I\'d like to get my professor to stop giving me the death glare.

Later,

OOh, sounds like something\'s getting to Vegeta. Is he becoming ill, or is it just what he\'s feeling right now? I\'m surprised that they made the escape. I was very doubtful, but they pulled it off. ^____^

This has got to be one of my favorite chapters to date. So, here is this Dr. listening to a crazy patient of his, almost believing the fairy tale when WAM, proof shows up to show the Dr. that none of this was make believe. I think, had I been the Dr., at that time I would have fainted.

Your discription of the nerd was sooo perfect. hehe, teletubbies and licorish. I loved that.

Poor Zarbon. That had to be one horrible decision to make.

*sighs* I have a sneaking suspision that Dr. Tanzil (?) is too caught up in the story to really listen to the message Vegeta was trying to get across at the end of this chapter.

That\'s too bad, because it really would apply to the Dr. situation with his son being dead now. I am certain there was a great amount of joy and love Justin (? it\'s been so long since I\'ve read the child\'s name, I am not certain that is it) brought into the Dr. life.

Well, other than the deviation that Bulma is dead, this story seems to be \'following\' the DBZ time line, if that is the case, then I have to guess Zarbon\'s and Vegeta\'s little escape hasn\'t gone unnoticed. *shakes head* I am glad they are enjoying it well it lasts.
