Oh my, you\'re right, that was t ant angsty, but it was good all the same. I would have those same doubts if I were Goku. *Sighs* I guess that makes me human.

Could you really trust Saiyan instincts not to hurt? --O_O I am willing to bet that you can\'t....but then again you never know.

Because thinking about that somehow made Vegeta more attractive--love this! I think that is great that he can look back on it like that and find Vegeta attractive.

Downright arousal-inducing. --wow, that is very nice combination of word lov love when you wrote as if summoned by these thoughts...very nice. ^_^

That was. Wrong? Was it wrong? Vegeta didn’t seem to have minded very much.--the saiyajin and human inside of Goku seem to be at war...with what he should believe.

Not everyone in the wornew new what went on in Vegeta’s head.--lol, I don\'t know anyone who knows what is going on in that head...Goku is probably the one who could guess best.
I love how they are fighting instead of sparring and how much Goku seems to be getting into it.

It seems as though Vegeta did very well at withholding sex this chapter. I think that he would be able to again if he was pissed off enough.

So, are these fights going to have ki blasts in them, or are they going to be physical brawls? Not that I mind either way, but it would seem to be the sort of fight that a fighter would want close contact with the other apponent(i.e. mate) and not a distance attack sort of fighting.

*points at Card* \"Did anyone else hear that? She was laughing evilly at me.\" (heard whispered in crowd) \"Don\'t make eye contact.\"

I loved this opening chapter. I liked the peek into Vegeta\'s thoughts about Goku\'s Earth sense and his hidden Saiyan nature. Particularly liked this:

\"So he had to think of some sort of healthy balance between the very few things the earthlings had done ‘right’ to teach him and the many things about Saiyans that Vegeta had to unleash in him.\"

Bringing out Goku\'s Saiyan nature, without disrupting too much of the finer Earth instincts is going to be a tricky business. I like the fact that Vegeta doesn\'t even want to bring out every aspect of the Saiyan nature in Goku, proof that he himself, has adapted to some of the Earth ways. :-)

Loved the little scene with Goten and Trunks. Poor Trunks... Vegeta\'s right... Goten is evil...LOL!

Goku\'s thoughts the following morning, as he looked at Vegeta\'sisedised throat and wrists, were very well done. I can well imagine that the slow re-emergence of Kakarot would be more of a two steps forward, one step back, sort of thing, and I could sympathise wioku\oku\'s fears that he may unthinkingly hurt someone should he allow his Saiyan nature out to play.

Goku\'s whole thought processes about how he didn\'t want to be like Vegeta, Nappa and Radditz were when they first showed up, his acknowledgement re: the back-stabbing nature of the humans, and his admittance of feeling aroused as he thought of how powerful Vegeta was when he first came to Earth, and how if not for the others, he would have beaten him, shows the conflict in his Earth/Saiyan natures and must have his head spinning as he tries to figure out who it is he wants to be.

This is interesting:
\"...That had to be the human side, because he wasn’t so sure tSaiySaiyans even slept in the same area with one another. Not that he wanted to sleep separately from Vegeta, because he loved his mate and wanted to be around him, but as a Saiyan he would think that such shows of affections were…not given.\"

Working on the assumption that Goku\'s Saiyan instincts are leading him true in this appraisal of how Saiyans are with one another, brings up the somewhat fascinating point of, just how much of Vegeta\'s, baser Saiyan nature has been affected by his time on Earth... Could prove interesting.

Felt for Goku as he pondered about the \'dominant\' side of his nature, and his fears of where this may lead him. Very interested in Vegeta\'s response to this:

“Hey…Vegeta…what if I don’t want to be more Saiyan?”

I don\'t think that either of them actually have a choice in this, Kakarot seems to be emerging all on his own, but I feel that this is a very important question, and much could depend on the way that Vegeta reacts to this.

A very interesting chapter, I enjoyed it very much, and am looking forward to the next one. :-)

Oohh, Goku has so many conflicts in his brain. I kinda feel sorry for him, and i wonder what Vegeta will say to his question. The Trunks and Goten bit was funny, hehe, poor Trunks. Well see ya monday, Ja ne!

Now the songs stuck in my head, but that\'s okay, I have a secret weapon for such things!
