That was good! Really good! Though I expected just smut, what I got was much more emotional. It was very deep, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best character studies I've ever read! (The sex wasn't bad, either!) There's so much meaning in their actions; the way that Ed chooses to be punished by Al really speaks volumes about their relationship. He knows that Al would never just haul off and smack him, even if he asked for it. However, the pain of this intimate act is perfect for Ed's guilt. It was through love that he screwed their lives up in the first place, and it is only through a loving act that he can atone for it. So, in a way, I guess you could say he wants Al to screw him the way HE screwed them over years ago...
Sorry, that was too long and over-thought-out... it was a great story.
One more note: I don't think you were the first to write Armor Al x Ed; I read a couple of stories like that on ff.net a couple of years ago (back in 2007, if I'm not mistaken...). However, there aren't many authors who DO tread on these grounds, so I commend you for it nonetheless!

That was cute and sad. Poor Edward, taking all the blame onto his shoulders. But at least Al knows how to take care of his brother when everything gets to much to handle.
