That was very well written. (Chapter 6.) I like the point of vies changes you put in between Kami and Piccolo.

Goku saying things for Vegeta was interesting and funny. I wonder when Vegeta will be saying things for Goku.

I expect the road to recovery to be rough. I could be wrong, but that is usually what happens in my experiece.

Looking forward to more.

i caught all the referrences back to the privious chapter and i can see how things are starting t come together now, i think you can be forgiven for that chapter taking a while to write, it was a pretty long chapter after all and everyone gets writers block from time to time. i don't know, perhaps the reviews from this chapter will fuel the muses for a while ^^

Brave Piccolo. I don't think I would have the cahonas (excuse me, my spanish spelling sucks, well, as does all my spelling) to go into Vegeta's mind. I am glad the Prince has enough control over his mind that Piccolo didn't get blasted with Vegeta's entire life. Still, for Piccolo to question his own historical evilness because of what he saw about the lizard is quite telling. I am glad that Piccolo and Vegeta are on 'friend' terms. Even if the Prince does like to pull hentai pranks. Mwuahahah.

So, I was a little confused about Vegeta's worrying about Bulma's reaction if she found out about the brainwashing and what triggered it. Was he concerned that she would be upset that SHE hadn't triggered it (in other words, Vegeta had never admitted his love for her to himself) Or concerned that she could be a possible target?

Oh, I don't mind your oppinion of the drums, or that you would put it in as a possible Vegeta POV. I love those drums. They have a similar affect on me. PLEASE do write the side story. (After it won't give anything away about this story of course.)

Evil, sadistic Kai's. How come I have a feeling not all of the Kai's are of one mind in whatever they are doing? I have a feeling some are just going along with it, while others are directing it. Those selfish bastards. And I really do believe they have there own interests in mind, and it might not be for 'The Good of the Universe'. Sometimes I get a feeling that this plane of exsistance is just some sort of play ground for them. As a matter of fact..... well, I doubt I'd ever write it.

Ah, so the bonding gets more tangled. Will it continue in such a manner, or will they eventually adjust? I guess I will have to wait and find out.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh! How very clever. not being in love, but acknowledging it. I never would have guessed that. so it wasn't in what frieza said, but what Vegeta was thinking? Goddamn kais! **wants to kill them all** makin' poor goku and Vegeta wait and then saying no! Is king kai in it? Is he really being a jerk like the rest of them? Will he maybe get in contact with goku secretly and help them? aw, c'mon! WOW. I can't believe they showed up at the lookout in such a compromising position... heheheeee... so Goku's presence is always with Vegeta because of the "thing" piccolo felt in Vegeta's mind in the beginning? How will seeing all that change the relationship between piccolo and Vegeta, if at all? and most importantly, WHAT IS THE DARN SOLUTION TO THE BLASTED BRAINWASHING?! ::sits down and waits for next chappie Veeeery eagerly:: ^________^

Great beginning. Not entirely clear as yet where this one is going - there's the brainwashing issue and the Trunks/Vegeta thing to work out (you make us really feel for them both). And I hope the boys will talk soon about the mating thing (drumsevanevant perhaps?). Very intrigued by this. But until then I am revelling in the warm glow as they explore their happy successful relationship and its affect on boheirheir personalities. I liked the ChiChi/Rezu chapter - they are a part of the story we haven't seen for a while. In Maintaining there was a sense that part of Vegeta's redemption (although mostly through Goku) was involved with his being part of a wider, caring group of people. That his, his decisions to care for Goku's family while he was away created the relationships that became his anchor when he needed them (eg ChiChi's help in getting he and Goku together). Part of Goku's strength was acknowledged to come from this source but I don't think Vegeta ever realised that, or thought about it as applying to himself. I think part of completing his return to health and strength needs to see him drawing closer to his wider 'family', getting to feel that he can truly look upon himself as one of them. Of course, you would have to do this and still keep Vegeta being Vegeta - not easy. Anyway just a thought - happy to defer to the wisdom of the goddess and wait patiently for the story to unfold. I love the banter between Vegeta and Piccolo btw - it cracks me up every time (still chuckle about the 'boyfriend' sequences in Maintaining). Sorry to hear about the back pain - too many sparring sessions perhaps? Hope its betteon -on - keep well.

The emotions between Kakorott and Vegeta are very well portrayed. The complete trust is described well, not to mention the other things that were described well. ;-D
