Hey, just started reading your story Equinity, only on ch. 2 but just wanted to say that I love this so much. I myself own 2 paint horses that I ride and compete, mostly in english or western pleasure. Both enjoy jumping low fences but one is grounded for life due to bone chips that were surgically removed from his rear fetlocks, the other other is a 15 hand paint that looks like the epitome of a muscle bound western horse. She loves jumping, but she's not much good for anything over about 1 1/2 feet. (too much weight!) Its really fun to see the Australian terms and figure out what they are, the terms are different in America. Float - Trailer Float Boots - Shipping Boots Crush - Chute etc. But I see god old Bute is just as common!
Ive often thought about writing a horse based story for GWing (I really see Duo as a western man, I think he would be totally into Penning, Cutting and Reining. Heero always struck me as an eventer - Show Jumping, Cross Country and Dressage ^_^ ) Mostly I never have because I procrastinate too much and by the time i start getting the story down on paper I'm bored with it.
One question I did have though, Is it common in Australia for a vet to work with all sorts of animals like cats dogs and horses? In America they tend to be specialized- Small Animal Vet, Birds Vet, Large Animal Vet, Large Animal Surgeon etc...
Anyways, love this story, cant wait to read the rest. Just lovin' the though of 1X2 lovin' on horseback!

-And now for a shameless plug, If you wanna see my horses, check out my gallery at http://kitsune-ryu.deviantart.com/ Jack is the breeding stock paint- registerd paint but he has no spots. He's the one who had the surgery. Robin is the spotty one. She's a frame overo and I got her when she was 6 months old, a weanling, my baby! ^_^ *proud mommy grin*

*Facefault* I should have *known* you\'d end it on a cliffhanger! And Duo wasn\'t the only one Heero scared the crap outta! Man, I was worried for a bit there... And I knew Treize would be there. *Smirks* Hmmm... gotta wonder how much longer before Treize starts making regular appearances... *Bounces* I can\'t wait for the next chapter! I hope its soon, \'cause cliffhangers are EVIL!

Oh, man! I totally understand how Duo feels, heck I\'m sitting here biting *my* nails! Another great chapter, I can\'t wait to see how Heero does in his second competition with Treize.
