Excellent...kakarots distress...and subsequent ...release, very well done. One can see his \"fall from grace\" or voyage of discovery...quite plainly. The twists and turns of his journey are masterfully done. Telling Goten to get lost was priceless. It\'s about time he let Chichi know who wore the pants in that family! He should \'smack that ass\' more often!

I\'m actually starting to feel sorry for Goku. He is so much on the outside looking in, seeing a relationship he doesn\'t have. Even if (when) he participates, how can he truly fit in. He sounds very needy and lonely, willing to accept watching since he doesn\'t really have anything else.
Is Vegeta aware of this? Is he doing it on purpose to demonstrate his power over Goku? Or is he just trying to get Goku to feel relaxed enough to join in. I don\'t see Goku gaining confidence, just desperation.
Vegeta\'s clothing seems to be an armor or shield - when it is gone his is more himself. Interesting that he is willing to let Goku see that part of him - either he no longer sees him as a threat, or has found this method to defeat or control him.
Can\'t wait for the next installment. *g*

One more thing. I found Goku\'s thoughts about whether or not he would still be able to ride the nimbus very astute. *nods* I\'ve wondered how long it would take for someone to bring that up in a story. Glad to see it was you.
