Ooooooooooooohhh, so sexy. No other word seems to fit.

You know, you could easily fit protection into the storyline. I mean, they\'re both inexperienced, so it would add to the cute and nervous bit to have them fumbling with the proper administration of such things. It always strikes me as odd that in most common-era romance novels, nobody uses a condom - ever! (Well, Lori Handeland\'s books are the exception, and I find that very cool.)

Anyways... Whether you do or don\'t want to write it in, it makes no difference, as we all love a good smut scene. But I actually think you could make the use of protection very cute with them, if you play your cards right. Just food for thought. I\'ll love it, either way.

Hey, if you still want advice about the preotection thing, then here\'s my opinion.
I think that fanfictions are great because you don\'t have to put stuff like protection in it. To add it to the story would really kill the mood, and I just don\'t get the same feeling from it if it did have protection. Plus, if Ed & Winry are virgins, then they shouldn\'t need it. If it\'s about Winry getting pregnant, then just say she took birth-control pills or something.

hey! great story! loved the ending of this chapter. as for the protection issue, there are three ways to go about doing it: one, you could just have it slipped on like no big deal as it IS important to have protection mentioned. Two, you could write a disclaimer stating that, yeah you know they should be using protection adn in real life they would but as this is a story and in no way real, they\'re not b/c it\'d break up the flow. Follow that with a capped BUT IF YOU ARE HAVING SEX, USE PROTECTION. Thirdly, (and this is my favorite)- have winry use her mouth to put it on. It\'d be using protection and stay in the groove of the story. Trust me on this one, if you\'ve got a guy who hates wearing a condom, suggest this method and i garuntee that he won\'t complain. Plus, you can just use a hand job to make sure the wrappers on tight.

I want 2 express just how \"sexually-adorable\" your short stories r......Ya know I could never understand why: Winry & Edward aren\'t showcased much more often in fan-fics.....U truly stuck 2 the essence of the Characters\' persona. That, my friend, is a REAL achievement. Just like Ed & Win there\'s no sappy love confession sex..it\'s give & take without surrender but with deep gratification.....Just as I thrilled in privately \"sensually-connecting\" the climactic couple of Orphen & Cleao with no fluff but true emotion..U have brought me 2 Ed & Win in their intense yet close connection...There\'s no greater turn-off than a fic that sounds nothing like couple who\'s engaged in it.

First of all... I like. Good writing, interesting scenario, very hot. Much fond of the title, as well. ^_^

*considers the question* And y\'know... actually, if I were you, I wouldn\'t think about whether a lack of protection was -distracting- so much as... plausibly, would Ed and Winry -have- any? I mean... they\'re in -Rizenbul-; where are they supposed to buy anything? They hadn\'t been -planning- on having sex, so short of him transmuting something... I don\'t know how you could handle that. ^^

Ah, finally. They unit. Hehehe. I liked the opening sentence the most. It was just perfect. But go Ed! Still an awesome Ed/Win smut story and I\'m loving every chapter! Don\'t stop writing and I can\'t wait for another update!! :)

All i can say is....Great job and keep writing (quickly).

In the real world, protection is the all encompassing important thing when it comes to sex. This should be reflected in fanfiction as well...kinda like encouraging others who read to follow with the practice, ne? However...one must also keep in mind the time frame. For instance...were condoms and birth control even in existence during the time line that Full Metal Alchemist takes place? o.O Realism is also important in fanfiction, I think. All in all...I think the characters should reflect a certain amount of maturity...they must know that there are consequences to their actions (actually, I\'m fairly positive that Ed and Al already know about such things due to the mistakes they\'ve made in the past, though that wouldn\'t be the same kind of consequences in reference to unprotected sex). Also...due to what happened to Roze, I would think that Ed would know even more of what could happen if caution wasn\'t exerted...so, unless Ed and Winry are serious about their relationship, I honestly don\'t think he\'d get involved physically, just in case she were to get pregnant...not unless he intended to make their relationship permanent. I don\'t think he would be the kind of person to merely use her for physical gratification unless he was seriously contemplating a future with her. He just doesn\'t seem like the type to use and leave, consequences be damned, y\'know? Winry must also know about the possibility of getting pregnant, since you mentioned in your fic that Auntie Pinako had The Talk with her. The time line (say around 1920\'s) people really didn\'t know too much about things like STDs, right? So, the characters can\'t really be expected to worry about such things. There were a few that they knew of, but I don\'t think they fully understood the repercussions. There were also rudimentary condoms back then...I believe made from a sheep\'s intestine, but I could be wrong about that. All I know is that the condoms of that time frame aren\'t what we know today. As for birth control, I think they may have relied on a rhythm system, or herbal remedies...but I think the herbal remedies were more along the lines of \"correcting\" the mistake once it occurred. **grimaces** One \"herb\" that was used frequently in the past to induce miscarriage (essentially abortion) was Mistletoe, though I\'m uncertain how it was used or ingested. From what little I know, mistletoe is poisonous. **shrugs**

I don\'t know of any of what I said helps, but yeah. There is it...my rambling. ^_^ At any rate, I found the story to be an interesting read and hope to see more in the future.
