That hurt so bad it was brilliant. You are an ace. Completely.

I really enjoyed this! You have an excellent, descriptive writing style and your portrayal of their relationship and of Roy as a broken man is incredibly effective. My one offer of constructive criticism concerns Roy\'s drinking.

Now, feel free to ignore this if you feel I am being paranoid, but it seems to me that a lot of the fandom seems to think Roy is an alcoholic because we see him drinking a few times in the series and we see the horrific things that have happened in his past. Fair enough. Write it that way if you want. But I don\'t think anything in canon suggests that it is true. So, my only offer for concrit (and if this is what I\'m picking on, you\'ve done an *excellent* job): You may want to be a bit more clear on whether this has been going on since Ishbal, since Gracia, or more recently. Roy is ambitious and has risen high in the ranks. I don\'t see that happening if he is falling down drunk all the time.

That said, this was gorgeous and I love it and I look forward to more from you. *hugs*
