Yikes! This was an interesting story about what Future Trunks life could have been like after he had returned to the future. It's sad that everyone treated him like garbage except for Goku. And I appreciate how much you made the present time Vegeta caring and concerned for his son. Also, having Goku tell Bulma to blow it out her ass was a great moment. I'm looking forward to reading the sequel. I hope Trunks life improves in the past.

Yes! A SEQUEL A SEQUEL SEQUEL ME WANT ONE!
Hehe, so it was Goku the one that punched Vegeta... The Prince would be too confused punching his own self. :-)

Brilliant! Yes! Do the sequal! I would love to see Mirai trying to cope with a family that in another time hated him. The rehab thing was a neat idea too, I was sort of hoping that he and Goku would get together in this one. I don't know, I think it was because of the way Goku said he missed Mirai in the first chapter. But either way, it was still great, and the part where little Trunks asking Mirai if he could read his thoughts was too cute. I laughed. Great work, I'll be on the look out for your other stories!

At first when you portrayed Trunks as a druggie I sort of sighed and shook my head thinking, 'This is just going to be another one of thos stories where the main character is all depressed for no good reason. 'Oh, boo hoo, I saved the world and everyone is now happy and healthy and loves me for the effort'' But then I decide to read the next chapter anyway to see what's there and it's all like WHAM right in my face how awsome it is. I love the idea of the family that Trunks wanted so much to shun him. Chi-Chi is a bitch, and she's just angry because she lost her only child, and as for Gohan, the explanation you gave was enough. He only dies because he was stuck training Trunks after he just would not stop crying and begging for it. So if that was the true reason then he would be a little pissed off. It would be like a brick in the stomach for Trunks to hear that though, and Gohan should realise that no one forced him to rush off with his arm freshly cut off to fight the androids. Trunks even tried to stop him!
Maybe I can understand Bulma's reactions to all this. She just got her husband and friends back from the dead, so if at first they all seem kind of rude to her boy then she probably just shrugs it off thinking, 'They don't really mean it' and, 'He's a tough kid' Or something along those lines, after all if they just got back then she wouldn't want to start anything with them, but then you get into how Trunks turned down CC and lets her in on his sexuality, and she's really pissed off to the point where she doesn't care. I think Vegeta is just being Vegeta. He didn't grow up like the other Vegeta since he was dead and never got to know his son. So that maturity is missing and makes him pretty In-Character.
I'm curious about Goku, will Vegeta confront him and will Goku deny that he ever had a thing for Trunks, thereby breaking his heart and sending him off to drugs? Or were the drugs provided by his family as a way to waste away without their having to bother with him? (if that makes any sense) I've got this story on my recommended reading, and I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
