Absolutely gorgeous. (Even without the hot stuff at the end.)
Your descriptions had me in their little Munich apartment with them... the small sounds of a lived in place, the smell of the bacon at breakfast, and I even wondered if it had lovely high ceilings or if it was one of those little holes tucked up under the eaves.
The detail at the end on Alpons consumption... on it just being perhaps too much for him, wow.
Literary smut just kills me. :) Thank you for sharing.

holy hell. there are so many things i want to say about this as if giving commentary line by line. but, i will choose one word: beautiful. love the style. just fantastic work.
