Evil! Eeeeevil! That's the only word I could think of to describe Archer there at the end.. *shudder* what an unredemeable bastard..

I really like the way you characterized Ed in that he'll go to any lengths to get the information he's looking for, but somehow, I have a hard time picturing Ed taking that long to find the information he's looking for... I mean, how big can the restricted section really be? If it were *that* big that you had to have all this special permission to get into anything good all the time, then what would be the perk of being a State Alchemist in the first place? I dunno.. I just would think Ed would get kind of suspicious after a while there, with several whole days spent in the library and not even a clue.

.. also, could Archer really get away with destroying files in some secret, really important restricted section? I should hope that *someone* monitors all these super special important books, wouldn't they have some sort of filing system that makes it pretty obvious when whole books have gone missing? Especially since I assume you can't check anything out.. *shrug* just a thought. But as a whole, I really enjoyed your style, and the concept of the fic! Great job!
