The most beautiful, poignant piece of work I've read in awhile. Such a great idea & one that easily understood & tragic. You're very talented at this style.

Despite not being a great fan of ReiMax, this was probably the best fic, regardless of pairing, that I've read in a while. You have talent, heaps of it, even. ^^

And, it was all so believable, especially when the other person was revealed as Rei. He really can't help being nice, and Max's always too trusting, so...

Anyway, I really liked it. ^^

I love all things Kai, unfortunatly this had no Kai in it. Surprising I loved it all the same. In the end I was hoping that it would be Kai not Rei because despite my love of Kai/Rei I like having Kai around more. But when it was Rei I still sat there in aw because I realized how it made sense and how things just seemed to end perfectly on that note.

You have great talent, something that is expressed thoroughly by this peice. I'm looking forward to seeing more by you in the future.

I believe this is the first time I've actually liked a piece of Rei&Max -- most likely because it isn't Rei&Max.

It's a very well-written, subtle story, and I'm quite touched by it. It's much too believable that Rei would hate to let down Max, and in the end go too far, so to speak, in his attempt to accommodate him. He's a compulsively nice guy, and as anyone knows the road to Hell is paved with good intentions.

Poor boy -- poor boys, really. Mustn't forget poor Max.

Thank you for putting up something that's worth reading in this place.

I have to say I'm not a fan of this pairing, but this was a really well written story. Well done!

I thought this was the best ^_^ I love short bouts of unrequited love type of angst... Was it by any chance Rei\Ray? Kai, if you think in character, would never do Max, Tyson is too gentle hearted... even though you did say that they went from the best of friends to lovers... I dunno... It was good, thats all I know :)
