Yo! Just want to let you know that this fanfic is absolutely amazing... and this is my first time reviewing anything on aff so feel proud. Lol. I'm usually too lazy to, but there are a bunch of things about this fanfic that I just love.
Probably the first thing I noticed and loved was the fact that you don't use random Japanese words here and there throughout the story. Al not calling Ed nii-san and Ed and Fletcher not calling Izumi sensei was incredibly refreshing. So, thanks.
I'm really missing Roy now though :( Yay that Knox helped reassure Ed with the whole "I don't think he's dead" thing. Makes me happy.
Your knowledge of alcohol is kind of impressive, are you a bartender or something? Cause you know your stuff!
Maybe I'm just not educated in the world of booze, but yeah.
Your attention to detail makes me happy as well. It's actually really hard to find a story that follows the story line... Only thing I disliked was when some of the differences between the first anime and manga made themselves present... like the death of Winry's parents. Not like it really matters. You stated that you would be following the anime, so it's all good.
Ed's got himself in a pickle though! Good thing he has everyone looking out for him or he'd be totally effed xD
Can't wait for Roy to come back and beat him over the head for being an idiot :P
Oh! Please put me on that list for update e-mails? That's so the one thing I hate about aff! No author alerts. Gah.

Just read chap25! Loving it so far. I think it's funny that me and Ed like the same drink. It is also sometimes made with orange juice which is really good!

SQUEEEE! At long last a new chappie!! *happy dances* :D Imagine my surprise upon seeing the story alert memo in my email! :) Ah how easy it was to slide back into the groove of this story. *heart* Poor Ed's getting a taste of what Roy's been going thru for years now! :D Hakuro can kiss my ass btw! XD His one comment about Ed leading men into battle struck a chord with me. He means for Ed to go fight this People's Army doesn't he. He means for Ed to suffer, possibly die, doesn't he! The sorry sonofabitch would do it too just to get Ed out of his way wouldn't he. damn him. Nice to see Kain getting better, sort of. I haven't decided yet what to make of Breda. He seems like an OK guy but he keeps making Ed question everything in love and life so I don't know if I fully trust him or not. Winry, unsurprisingly, has caused all kinds of unnecessary trouble for herself, for Pinako, and, most importantly, Al. The girl was always too high strung for her own good. :( There's just one thing missing from this chapter. *sniffle* WHERE IS MY ROY?! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH HIM?! GIVE HIM BACK!! *sobs* Yeah, I'm still dying (no pun intended) to know what's become of my beloved raven haired rapscallion! XD

I went through this in a matter of hours and all want to do is continue reading. This is very intriguing story. You have me trying to wrap my mind around the storyline, I keept waiting for the shoe to drop for Ed and Roy. I wonder when will the Al and Winry story will give but I just want to know what the heck is going to happen in the end.

With the earlier chapters I enjoyed the realism of Roy's alcholism. It was good flaw for this character that made him less than perfect. No, it was what made him strong. Roy has terrible issues, his friends have seen the worst of them, but they refused to let him fall so low or let him remain on the ground for too long. He also has terrible preseverance. He is cruel to everyone, but worst to himself and it was at those time in the story that I felt sorry for Ed. Everyone from the Maes in Roy's mind to Riza knew how bad this relationship was for the boy, heck even Ed knew it, but it was the force of Roy's personality that I think has dragged Ed into this mess. Roy is the perfect anti-hero in this story and I wait for him to return.

This is truly a lovely story.

This is really my favorite fanfic of all time, and that's saying something seeing as I read a lot of them. I've been reading it since it was first posted on FF.N- it's a pity you haven't updated for a while. You have a lot of talent.

I have gotten so addicted to this story and would love to know if I can be also put on the list for updates, but not just for this but for any updates you do. I do not know if I asked already since AFF hardly is nice to me.

I can already tell this story is far from over, but this was beautiful chapter and I am still a little shaky with the Al and Winry thing, but it did seem very realistic considering that some of the opther 'lemons' as other often call sex in other stories are so far fetched and overdone in a lot of different ways. I adore your writing style and should probably review more, but its' difficult to not get caught up in the story. Geeze I miss Mustang and I wish someone would kill Juliet Douglas and the Fueror already, using Kain like that (You're evil, he's sweet and innocent in a Alphonse sort of way, but it adds a twist to the story and I am looking forward to seeing where it will go.) I am looking forward to where the story will go in many aspects.
