OH yes! We got an all perspective view here!! Poor little Edward... he's like a little love sick puppy, thinking about Roy all of the time. And Roy-- the poor dear... with all the things going on with the military and Edward being gone he HAS to be stressed. I just wish alcohol wasn't his comfort. I hope that soon he figures out it isn't good for him.
I wonder what Fletcher would've thought about Edward having a relationship with Roy. I know he doesn't really know Mustang, but would he think, 'wow, he likes guys too?' or 'didn't think Ed was like that' or something else. I loved how you referenced to the all is one thing. That was one of my favorite things in the anime. I'm glad Edward had Izumi to teach him those things. And now Fletcher knows it too.
I'm concerned now for Fletcher as well. With that look-a-like stalking around who knows what will happen to the poor boy. He's a skilled alchemist too, Fletcher I mean.
Aww-- two little virgins experiencing their first... love... and sexual... healing. XD
Just do it!! (*winks at Winry and Al*)
I feel so bad for Fuery!! The poor man has to go through all of this crap because of the damn 'bad people'. Blech. I hate bad ppl. (not really... I always like the villains for some reason... mmm, Scar, mmm, Kimblee...yes I like Kim-sama... BWAHAHAH, he's crazy good!)
HAHA, I loved the doctor. He was all like (and i paraphrase), 'Take this pamphlet and read about alcoholic side effects you durn alcy. Just keep telling yourself you are not a drunkard. Just wait-- one day you will wake up and find that you have been abducted by hobos and they've named themselves fuhrer in your absence. Bwa ha ha.'
Well, he didn't say it like that, but he wanted to!!
Thank you for updating, I love it!

Uh oh! Roy got called out! If Doctor Booth, who doesn't even really know Roy, noticed his alcoholism, it's a pretty good bet others have too. not good. Or maybe it is. Maybe Roy will at least glance at those pamphlets and, I don't know, maybe start to recognize that he has a problem? pish. Yeah, I wish. Ed's just as bad as Roy is. "It’s just not a good time." How many times have I heard that lame excuse? He's lying to Fletcher and, worst of all, to himself. idiot. stupid Applejack. Ed, put that stuff down, go back to Central, confront Roy, settle this shit between you two and stop running from your problems dammit!! ugh!
Ya know, I never thought about the science of physics being lacking in Amestris. It is to be expected tho since alchemy is so prevalent there. Well, no, now that I think about it, that's not really entirely true. Alchemy is a science and an alchemist must know a lot about what things are made of and how the composing elements of any given item work together to be able to transmute that item into something else. Like when Ed fought Greed. Ed realized that Greed was manipulating the carbon in his body to make his "ultimate shield". Ed knew that carbon could be soft enough to be pencil lead or hard enough to be a diamond. So, by altering Greed's carbon structure, Ed was able to defeat him. ... OK fine! I'll say it! Ed killed Greed, not just defeated him! *pouts* *sighs* I just don't like to think about this because the story took an even darker turn for the worse after this messy confrontation. T_T Anyway, perhaps it's astrophysics and not just physics that's lacking in the Amestrian world. But, what do I know anyway? :)
I'm glad Riza and Jean are watching Roy's back. Somebody has to since Ed's not around right now. I shudder to think of the condition Roy must be in now that Ed's been gone for so long. Overworked, overstressed, and undersexed - not a good combination. When you add in his drinking it's a wonder the man can function at all. When he finally breaks down and gives in, and he will, it's not gonna be pretty.
Who is it the homunculi plan to use to make that damned Philosopher's Stone - Al or Fletcher? not good either way. I take it they've given up on forcing Ed to do it and are focusing their efforts on the gentler younger brothers to do the terrible deed. Al won't be so easily swayed since he knows the price of making a stone but does Fletcher know what is involved? *sigh* It makes me sad just to think about it. :(
Update soon!

Well, Al got some, not really much but it was something. God! I hate Envy! Once again you have given us just enough to torment us but not satisfy us. More please! If you want begging I can do that! I'm not to proud!

omg! i was right! envy was the urayami-whatever-his-name-is boy! oh, the fist thing i said when i saw the update was "oh, dude, snap" and read it immediately. i am so in love with this story, and it's got so many twists and turns in the plot that i can hardly tell just what's going on. and ed seems so damn mature smoking and drinking applejack in the moonlight. so cool. keep up such excellent work, and i'll see you in the next chapter!

LOL! Well, that's one way to quit smoking! I think if I had Izumi staring me down I'd definitely quit! XD Quite frankly, I'm surprised she didn't kick his ass on the spot. It was kinda funny imagining Ed and Fletcher sparring. I just see Fletcher as this frail little thing - no match for Ed at all, which is what he proved himself to be once Ed got serious and stomped him good! :) I liked the little kick Ed gave Fletcher after the match - typical Ed to take something one step too far! :D A talk with Izumi (or a beat down from her!) will do Ed a world of good. He already seems to know what he should do but he just needs her to make him accept it and act on it. Was that Lust that Bartholomew was talking to? I don't know much about this Colonel Douglas but I can't stand him already. Having Roy take him down would make me very happy! :) It's sweet (and a bit devious!) of Al to try teaching Winry how to defend herself. With Kimblee skulking around it's best not to take any chances!

P.S. Will you be updating "Blind Obsession" and "The Sound of Silence" soon? "Blind Obsession" has just sooo many delicious smexy possibilities and "The Sound of Silence", well, I just gotta know what happens next! Does it make me too much of a masochist to want to read something so psychologically painful? hmm...probably! :)

another awesome chapter! maybe with ed's lesson from his spar he can get some answers to his dilemma with roy. and all those disappearing bodies... it may actually have nothing to do with the story line, but i totally thought gluttony - like he was eating them or something. oh man, this story is so frickin' mysterious. i just want all the answers! but even though it makes for a very frustrating after-effect, it's good that they come slowly and deliberately throughout the plot. great job. see you next chapter!

Nye, I didn't really think that Ed had been given a specific birthday date either (Aside from it being Alisia's birthday as well)
Good chapter, though. Mustang's getting grumpy :D
