I'm worried for Edo Poor Al, too!

I haven't finished reading it yet, but so far so good. I like how you explain what most people wouldn't know. Being a bartender, I was surprised to find such a variety of drinks in one story. I appreciate the detail in it, though. Most people who would like an Applejack would also enjoy a Long Island Iced Tea, so that was pretty well done, even if it was an accident. ^.^

*ahem* Okay... now that that is over... NOOOOOO! It stopped again! I feel so retarded for Ed (that works out only in my mind) and I can't help but hate anyone who makes him feel bad. Although I see where all this is coming from, he's trying. Ed is trying so damn hard that it hurts me to watch. He tried to think like Roy and be strong, but he only put himself in harms way. I can tell that he wanted to do something good, but how will that turn out now? I'm glad that he persisted though. Lets hope he can come up with something smart to counter that blast of bravery, yet stupidity he had with the fuhrer. Now the Fuhrer suspects soemthing, but doesn't that give the Fuhrer more power over Ed...as in... something really bad could happen because Pride knows Ed wants something done, wants to help assist Roy in his climb up the ladder? Oooh, poor Ed!!

I wonder if the news will spread as far as Al? What will he think? And what will "Russell" think, or would he be worried about it at all? Anyshoes, this is really exciting. And I'm so glad that he found out what Roy said. Now to wait and see what his reply will be to that. Roy has to be alive, or I'll kill him. Hehe. I'm so enjoying this... even though I'm supposed to be doing an essay on current dictators! ^^ I'll write about the Fuhrer!! (XD) J/k, j/k... but that would make for an interesting topic...

I know Havoc is angry, but wasn't that a little harsh? Ed is already going through enough and now he throws THAT in Ed's face. What will Havoc do in his blind rage? I wish Ed would've struck back, punched that little bastard in the face. I feel bad that Riza won't give him a chance though, even though I'm totally PISSED OFF AT HIM!! *ahem*

Getting some anger out in your review is always fun.

Winry is an idiot. Doesn't she see it's just pure manipulation. Talk about the dramatic irony. Why is it people can't see the truth until it's smacked them in the face? I mean, why can't people look around and take things in and put those things into action? Use them or manipulate them in order to be stronger or smarter? Is it just a human's ignorance? Do they only look to basic survival instincts and not the rest?

I'm thinking deeply now. Woooh, my English teacher will be happy, cuz he's crazy... I mean, seriously crazy. And I love it!

Ooh. Oh my. Oh my goodness. *grimaces* Ed, what in the world were you thinking storming into the fuhrer's office like that?? Well, Ed never claimed to be a "normal and sane person"! :D It's great that Ed's a lieutenant colonel now and I think he can handle it; I just wish he hadn't gone in there and made such a scene! But that's our Ed! :) He doesn't do anything half-way! "Go big or stay home" as they say! LOL! I wasn't feeling really bad for Ed until he realized he'd made himself into the king - a very dangerous thing to be! Not to mention when Havoc told him Roy's last words!! OMG!! That had to hurt worse than any beatdown Ed could have gotten from Havoc! (Not that Havoc's punk ass could do too much but yeah...ouch) poor Ed. :( And there's still no word on Roy!! *pouts and whines* ZaKaiiiii! Stop torturing me like this! Ya gotta give me some scrap of something over here! I'm dying already don't ya know! :)

How the hell can Havoc et al justify being mad at Ed for acting like he did when he didn't even remotely know what he was up against? Ed didn't know any better so how can they expect any better? If Breda, when he followed Ed to Roy's place just after the shooting and told a distraught Ed they needed him, had just hinted at how bad things were I don't think Ed would have done this. But no, he was vague about it saying only that Ed had never had to deal with politics and intrigue but now he had to. Ed doesn't do vague dammit! Breda shoulda spelled it out for him! Surely to goodness Breda knew something about what was going on and could have said something even if just to encourage Ed to get himself together and make him aware of what Roy had been dealing with. *sigh* Essentially they're all mad at Ed for being Ed. Havoc's such an ass! "Why the hell didn’t you tell us you were going to do that?!" Quid pro quo dumbass! You didn't tell him anything so he didn't tell you anything! Deal with it! :P At least Ed's got Riza on his side. It'd be truly horrible if he had no one. :( Nobody's blameless in any of this. Some, however, are more at fault than others. *sigh* If only Roy hadn't kept secrets from Ed Ed might have an inkling of just how dark and dangerous the waters he's treading are.

It confused me a bit when the fuhrer said that Ed wouldn't get Roy's brigade but would have a battalion of his own to command in the upcoming civil war. I wasn't sure what the difference between a brigade and a battalion was. Battalions are smaller than brigades but they're still impressive things! Ed could be in command of as many as 1000 soldiers! WHOA! O_O That number jumps up to around 1200 once you add all the office and support staff he'd have! WOW! :D I am impressed! That's a hell of a lot of responsibility to suddenly put on Ed. A fact I'm sure the fuhrer is well aware of. sorry sonofabitch. He probably intends for Ed to get himself killed on the battlefield. Speaking of sick sorry sonofabitches, Envy clearly has nothing better to do if all he's got is harrassing Winry. I'm surprised Winry didn't smack him upside the head after pinning her to the wall like that! At the very least she shoulda demanded he leave her house; Al's wishes be damned! Ain't nobody gonna come in my house and act like that and get away with it!!! WTF is his deal anyway? Why does Envy want Al to leave with him? How long is he gonna keep up this charade of impersonating Russell? What happened to Russell anyway?
Update soon! I NEEEEED to know what happened to Roy!

i feel so sorry for ed! everyone is underestimating him! i mean, sure, he may have no idea what the fuck he's doing nor any normal, sane sense of going about it, but he's the miracle worker! he can make anything work, even if it does end badly! i think ed needs to shore up his defenses and show them that he can lead them competently and successfully though this until roy returns.

please? because if one more person thinks badly of him or says he can't do this Lt. Colonel stint, i think i'll cry.

anyway, i saw you updated, and then there was major celebration on my part. no lie. i can't wait for the next chapter!

Oh my god! That chapter was painful in such a good way. All the anger through out was paltable. You could just feel it! And I was wondering when Havoc would have it out with Ed. Poor Ed! He has to be devistated now, knowing Roy said he loved him. I really, really hope Ed can make this work and figure out the Homuculie's plot!

Descent is like the best FMA story I've ever read. Ever. Keep typing away
