I've been around AFF a while and this is by far the best I have ever read. On a fanfiction level, it's brilliant. Realistic, in character, creative, and just something different. Not the same old pairs, an actually exploration of a relationship. As a piece of erotica, damn. This is hot, damned near every chapter. Suspenseful and engaging, the detail and emotions are intense. Anyone who can read this and not be aroused is missing something.

The writing is pristine, events unfold naturally and such attention is provided to the detail and descriptions that it's like artwork. It's genuinely a pleasure (in more ways than one ;) ) to read this. Keep up the good work. If I hadn't spent most of teh night reading this I could give you a much better review, one that this work deserves. Instead you'll have to give me a chance to reflect on it and come back later. I'll head over to ff.net and review as well. This really needs to be a shining example of what fanfiction should be.

i just wanted to tell you that i am 100% addicted to this story! i come home from work every day and check to see if the next chapter is up. i love your style of writing, the story line... everything. this is a fantastic story...
and normally, i'm a completely devoted to hughes, but you make roy so damn hot in this... lol.

I have been enjoying your story very much. Roy/Winry is a guilty pleasure pairing of mine. They are bound together by their shared tragedy, and you are writing that very well.

*sigh* he really does care for her... and she does too, her heart/mind is more honest her fevered state. she sought him out for comfort... now, if only they can be honest about how they feel after she gets better. ;O)
poor Roy had to face the evils of the kitchen. just to mack some soup... though it makes me wonder how well Winry would take care oF Roy if the situation was reversed, and he was the ill one. ;oP

Maes has the right idea about them... and if Winry was just a few years, he'd so be trying to get them togather, they need eachother and Maes sees that. And is it wrong of me to want Roy, to roast Travin to a krisp. I just don't trust him, or his sister, and not just because he is the rival, well, maybe it is... ;o)

I going to have to start checking for updates almost daily, i got behind by a few chap's...
the more i read of this story, the more i adore it. Have to feel for Winry, and her confilicted(sp?) feelings (not really the right word)
of Roy, she wants to hate him (and leaving the parents death out of it, the blackmailed gropping/kissing would be more then enough justification , but deep down she can't) she would have walked out, hell she would have told Maes, what he was doing if she truely hated Roy.
that and her body sings for him. ;O)

He might not love her YET, but his feeling seem to run deeper then just obbsession. Roy's actions when he comforted her, during and after the act, show he does care. they both have deep emotional issues (mainly conected to eachother) and they are both pigheaded/stubborn and they both care deeply about their friends.
that is one of the reason i like the pairing so much, it could work, cannonly even.
