*finishes reading and sits in agonized silence, eyes welling with tears* I don't know what to say. There are no words to properly express how distraught I am. I feel kinda numb. I won't shoot you, I wouldn't even if I could. You've taken the fight right out of me. I want to fall out and sob like crazy, but I'm simply too upset to move. Only a year older than his father was when he got his automail (which is what I think you meant by the line, "I’m a year older than you. And it can be replaced with automail." not sure.) and being so brave about it. It wasn't until the sound of the bone saw *cringes* that I, like Ed, fell apart. *takes a deep breath* You have messed me up for real this time! whew! :) I was so glad the Ed and Al killed the beast that did this to Nicholas! What kind of crazy alchemy did Aideen use to destroy those chimeras? It was awesome! She's an impressive little kid! :)

When you post a link to a spoiler photo, you should put it at the end of the chapter so people won't go look at it and ruin the chapter for themselves. I read the comments. People don't listen to spoiler warnings. There were probably quite a few readers who ruined the ending for themselves by looking at the photo first. I found it curious that you chose to dress Aideen like Ed and Nicholas like Al. (I always imagine Al dressed just like in your photo, wearing khakis and a button-up shirt. Don't know why but I do!) I remember from, um *flicks back thru the chapters*, chapter 13 where seven year old Nicholas and Aideen were "sparring" and Aideen was dressed like Roy, eyepatch and all, and Nicholas was dressed like Ed, miniscule ponytail and big red shirt. This is how I, to this day, picture these two - Aideen favoring Roy and Nicholas favoring Ed. I had to do a double take and look really hard at the picture since it so contrasted with how I imagine them. Now that Nicholas has an automail arm *fights back tears*, he is definitely Ed made over! Like father, like son! :)

Yay, I finally finished the whole thing!

... NICHOLAS IS GETTING AUTOMAIL?!?!?! Gawd, the emotional-ness of it all. Ed's going to be a wreak, so is Aideen... And... Yea, I do see Aideen as more of a "Riza" than Nicholas, while I believe Nicholas is more like Edward... Yay! Hope you update soon! Nicholas, automail is NOT fun, young man...

Nice Cliffhanger! The action sequences are good, but i was a little dissapointed that the really wasn't an Ed and Al scene. I'm curioust to how they're faring in all of this. Fun to read as always. :D

Ed is so mature ( when he NEEDS to be) ,Poor Al he just can't make the togh choices if they hurt anyone.

WAAAAHH!! Nicholas! T_T I hope Aideen knows enough medical alchemy to help him! Poisons are nasty things. The way Aideen was just standing there in that building scared the living daylights out of me! If I didn't know she was wearing her protective necklace I'd be panicking thinking that Dante had gotten ahold of her! She IS wearing that necklace still isn't she? ACK! Now I AM panicking 'coz I don't know what's wrong with her!!! Oh I hope it's just the shock and exhaustion from fighting chimeras that's making her act weird!! *cries* Kain's hurt so badly too!! *sobs* I hope he'll be OK. *wibbles*

When this is all over, Wrath (I can't bring myself to call him Ulysses! yecch!) will be lucky if Jacob will stay in the same room as him let alone remain his boyfriend! Jacob's not liking seeing Wrath's true colors. Oh well, bye bye Jacob! We hardly knew ya and we'll barely miss ya! :) Russell shouldn't worry. The object of his desires will be fine! ;) Wrath has to be OK because he has to be there when Dante goes down! *smiles happily as images of Dante's slashed chopped mangled charred corpse is thrown to a pack of rabid chimeras* I am so bad! *toothy evil grin*

Speaking of chimeras, loved the flashback moment from Ed! "What the hell is it with you chimeras? Why do you keep insisting on attacking that arm?" Ah yes! Memories of Lior and the lion chimera Ed fought there! Wow that was a long time ago! I feel bad that Ed's had to become a "killing machine" and relive all those terrible memories. Unfortunately, killing these monstrosities is the best thing for them. ugh. I don't wanna even think about Ed or anyone else drenched in chimera blood! *shivers*

sorry about not reviewing for a while but my internet's been down. We were moving. anyway, great chapter! I really wanna know what happens to Aideen. I hope she makes it ok and nicholas too! can't wait for the next chapter!!!!!!!

Mmmm! Nothing like a little bondage to keep the sparks flying in the bedroom! woohoo! :D I sympathize with Roy. Sore wrists are why I prefer to be the tie-er instead of the tie-ee but it's fun either way! ;) I just hope he doesn't have bruises. EVerybody knows what you've been doing once they see bruises on both wrists - at least that's what I in my paranoia think everybody is thinking! ;) Naughty Roy popping Ed on his behind like that! *giggle* I'm so glad that Roy is FINALLY gonna get rid of that patch! :) I hate that thing. It just emphasizes the fact that he's missing an eye. Half faded scars are much less noticeable than that God-awful patch. I had all but forgotten Roy and Ed's middle names! Warren. Irving. *snerk* They make me laugh! Hey, did you realize that their initials spell out words? Roy Irving Mustang = RIM. Ed(ward) Warren Elric - EWE. cool! I don't know why but I just love seeing Ed in uniform! He just looks so good in that outfit! Thank goodness there are lots of fan pics out there to satisfy my cravings! :) Roy AND Ed in uniform together = major drool!!

I get the feeling that Nicholas is becoming more and more like his daddy every day as he prefers alchemy that is, as you say, raw and has impressive results. Bonding your hand to stone does draw a fair amount of attention! :) I wouldn't call the boy impatient but he does seem to like more immediate dramatic results.

Amestrisian rocket. hmm. I knew when I wrote that word, Amestrisian, ages ago in a review that it wasn't quite right. So, I dug around in my manga to find the word I wanted. In volume 8, page 146 I believe, Foo, one of Lin's bodyguards, refers to the people of Amestris as Amestrian. Therefore, accepting Viz as the authority on the subject, it should be Amestrian rocket. So, yeah, use whichever you want. Just thought I'd share this little tidbit of info.

I'll have you know that I barely breathed for the last part of this chapter! chimeras! *whimpers and hides under desk* Just imagining those snarls and other awful sounds gave me chills! Those poor soldiers who couldn't get away in time - I cry for you. I was really impressed with Ed's quick thinking and saving his soldiers. He's become a true leader. He could make that horrible choice in that living hell and still be able to keep fighting - something dear sweet-natured Al could never do. God what I wouldn't give to have one or two dozen of those chimera rip Dante to shreds!!! GRRRR!!! I hope Aideen's OK. The little hothead's run off into the thick of things leaving me in panic! *sigh* Maybe she's starting to become more like Ed than Nicholas is. *groan* These two are gonna be the death of me! @_@

P.S. Roy's judging his age based on others huh? "Obsessed much?" Who? Me or him? *giggle* I'm not obsessesed. *looks around guiltily* Really! Not much, just some, a bit, barely noticeable at all. *looks around again to see if anyone believes her bravado* Ok, Ok, I worry over Roy all the time!! There! Ya happy now? *pouts* *sigh* I do feel his pain at text getting hard to read - and I'm already wearing glasses! :) Roy will be cute in glasses. He was wearing them in that pic I sent you. Did you like it? Photobucket is my treasure trove of eye candy! :)

*smiles* Oh dear. I remember when I turned 30. I think I was razzed the whole day for it too!! :D Everybody just HAD to get in a dig about being old. *sigh* With friends like that who needs enemies! LOL! It's hard to believe that the twins are teenagers already! Time sure does fly by. First kisses, puberty, first little budding relationships. It's no wonder Roy is feeling his age! the poor dear. :) His babies aren't babies any more. :(

I'm surprised that Aideen is having so much trouble with alchemy. I had started to think that there was nothing she couldn't do but I see now that genius does indeed have its limits. If medicine and plant alchemy aren't her thing I wonder what she will try next. It was very sweet of her to give Ed the aloe plants for his birthday. very thoughtful! :) As clever and handy a trick as it might be, I can't imagine why Ed would want to use alchemy to bond himself to stone - unless it would be to smash Dante into little tiny bits! *evil grin* Metal I can definitely see because he could use that to further strengthen his auto mail. very handy in a fight!! :)

A jealous Russell is not a pretty sight to behold! "What I don’t understand is why he ended up with another little, passive guy like Edward." Um. Maybe because he likes that type of guy? jeez! bitchy much? Those comments about Jacob were really uncalled for. I get the feeling that Jacob won't be around for too long anyway. Wrath doesn't seem willing to let him into his life too much so this will probably just end up being a transitional relationship - kind of a testing the waters to see if he's really ready to date again type thing. hmm. If so, Russell might have a chance to make a move on Wrath after all. I'm trying to imagine these two together. It's no more implausible than Roy and Ed are I suppose. The sparks of animosity that flew between Roy and Ed that eventually turned into love could be the same ones flying between Russell and Wrath. Anything's possible! "Screw you, Russell." "You wish." I think you BOTH wish! :)

P.S. I would LOVE to know what it was that Roy whispered in Ed's ear that made him fly mad so quickly! I'd love it even more to know what he said to make him blush like that too!! *giggle* These two are so adorable together!! RoyEd forever!!!! XD
