Sorry I didn't get a review in on last chapter. Technical difficulties on my end. *grumbles and grouses* I just 'love' my PC! :P Seriously, all I was gonna say about last chapter was that this growing up stuff is depressing the hell out of me! I know, I know. I've complained about it before (obsessive much? :D) but it really does bother me. Maybe I just don't want to think of Roy and Ed getting old. Hell, now that I think about it, Roy's just slightly older than I am! Oh damn, that's a sucky thought. Now I'm all sad again! WHAAAAA! *runs off and cries in a corner*
Whew. enough of that! :) Where was I? Oh yeah! The kids. Aideen was adorable when she blushed at her first crush!! KAWAII!!! Don't worry, Roy. You won't end up related to Armstrong. Few, if any of us, ever marry our first crush. :) Roy's reaction, "Ed, I don’t care if they don’t make them, I’m going to make a bra that locks", cracked me up!! poor guy! :) wanting to barricade her away from the entire male population for many many many years! Gotta love him for it tho. :) He knows what he did back in the day and doesn't want her to ever have to deal with someone like he was. It takes one to know one!! ;)
The scene with the photos was great! Personally, I don't like those candid shots. UGH!! I had an uncle who loved them and constantly kept a camera handy to catch all those moments you'd just as soon forget! :) I think I know the photo you're talking about where Maes and Breda are holding Ed up. I can't remember where I've seen it but it sounds familiar. The reminiscing of Riza did bring a tear to my eye! so sweet! :)
When I asked you last review why Roy rolled down the window, I was referring to when everyone was already out of the car and talking to reporters; not when he put down the partition after they got back in the car to go home. Ed and Roy got out of the car and talked to the reporters, Nicholas urged a crying Aideen out of the car, the reporter asks her a question, Roy tells her she doesn't have to answer it and then, somehow, rolls down the window. ?? It just seem odd, not mention impossible, for him to do that when no one was in the car.
What's up with the Tringhams? Why do they want Wrath? Could they act more suspicious? It was nice seeing Ed and Al traveling together again! Fortunately under much better circumstances this time around!! I liked how you explained away the armor. Shame Al couldn't have been somewhere else so Roy and Ed could have a bit of special alone time!! :D I was cheering Roy when he shamed the teacher! YAY!! What an idiot she was! She totally got pwned!! LOL! He can't help it if his kids are prodigies! (like their daddy!!) I feel bad for Frank. I wish that had gone better for him. poor guy. It's hard to have a dream shattered. Frank and Kain are cute together tho! :) I think I read the line "Lothian, Scotland" four times. ??? It didn't sink in at first that we'd jumped back to our world and that this was a different Armstrong. I wondered why he was covered in coal dust. (That's dangerous stuff that dust. It killed my grandfather.) I shudder to think what the Thules want with him.
Well, enough out of me. God I ramble too much! :)

yay, another chapter! **glomps**
I've been reading the sequel since you started on it. I like the Frank and whatshisname pairing..different..but I like it. At least it's with the [i]other[/i] archer and not the "real" archer of the FMA's world.
BTW, I think he was a bastard on For Her. For Him...^_^ I like this Archer better though.

Stupid question - Is the other twin gonna get a paparazzi's scoop like Aideen did? That would be funny if something happened to him like Aideen did and her and Ed going shopping for training bras..**giggles at the plan the twins did**

That was great! Poor Frank to find out his dad who's image he has worship for so long is such an ass. He was sweet to his mom.
I have always had such a hate for Archer but I must confess I just adore him in this. I love the fact that Kain is so strong the whole bit about him being happier on top was priceless.

I am so sorry I have been meaning to tell you for ages how incredible this is.
I love this story I swear I check for updates with my late night coffee every night.
It just flows so nicely, I loved the first one as well. For her and for him was just stunning.
I love that you still have references to Riza . Honestly I am not a Roy Riza fan , but I love that you really had a period of mourning and the twins know about her.

awwwwwwww. so cute! I just about died laughing at Roy and Ed's reaction to Aideen's 'crush.' reminds me of what happened when I got my first boyfriend. suprisingly enough, it was my FRIEND'S parents that got all protective of me. XD anyway, love the chapter, as always, and the crying to win over the press thing was just so Nicholas and Aideen. Love those two!!! Great chapter and I can't wait for the next one!!!! later ^-^

Hey! I meant to review this chapter yesterday but it got too late (1 am late!) to do it. So, yeah, just call me no-account! :)
Roy, you delightfully devious bastard! :D Ed was getting a bit panicked there for a minute! I was kinda worried myself for a second that Roy was gonna do something bad when he grabbed Ed's shirt like that! eep! Havoc wasn't helping laughing so damned much! jerk. :) I think Roy would enjoy giving Ed those birthday licks once they're home alone! Ooo. birthday licks. Now there's a double entendre for ya!! LOL!! Well, it works both ways!! XD Roy got close enough though when he tweaked Ed's butt in the kitchen! Loved it!!! :D w00t! Make a wish and blow out your candles, birthday boy! Oh and please don't castrate your husband! ROFLMAO!! Roy knows Ed only too well!!! XD
Btw, is it just me or does Ed seem to spend a lot of time in the kitchen? I know with kids it's kinda unavoidable since they're always wanting something, snacks and such, but I'm wondering when (if?) Ed ever does any of his duty to his country. He is a lieutenant colonel and, if I remember correctly from a dozen or so chapters ago during the war with Drachma, has men under his command. It's so weird to think of Ed commanding soldiers! He's always been such a free-spirited soul. This is all SO irrelevant I know but I was just wondering. Man, I gotta back off the sugar! :) What does Ed actually do for the military anyway? Does he still do research type stuff? Does he ever do any of the usual soldier stuff? Since he is the fuhrer's husband, does he even 'have' to do any of this? Meaning, is his rank more symbolic than anything? Being that close to the ultimate seat of authority (nice way to describe Roy no? :D) Ed can pretty much do as he pleases. Not that he would ever abuse his position of power but, yeah, the freedom is still there allowing him to spend days on end in the lab or whatever and never have to set foot in Central Command. *rereads paragraph* Ah jeez. Sugar not only rots your teeth; it rots your brain. *sigh* Not one of these questions has a damned thing to do with this story. I am so sorry for this long absolutely pointless rambling bit of nonsense. :(
On to something actually relevant to the story - Frank and Kain! Goodness have mercy that was one hot kiss! :) Good thing Kain pulled back when he did or he might have found himself being ravished on his own desk! :D Nothing like some hot office sex! w00t!! I may not be on Team Frank but I for dang sure ain't gonna begrudge the man some lovin'! ;)
I'm kinda peeved at Raine for overstepping her boundaries. There are some things a parent has to do no matter how awkward or embarrassing. Granted she was just trying to be helpful and these things are better explained by a woman to a woman since guys, Lord love 'em, are mostly clueless about the finer details of it all but she still shoulda asked if it was OK and offered to do it in Roy and Ed's stead. And did she HAVE to be so blunt and throw that much info at the poor child all at once? doctors. sheesh. The little conversation about breasts was cute! "Part of growing up, becoming a woman. She said that even though they’re mostly for feeding babies, as far as their purpose goes, that a lot of men like them." "Not all men." "No, she said not men like you, or Lieutenant Colonel Fuery." I have absolutely no idea why but that little exchange made me smile! There's just something sweetly endearing about how Aideen knows about and refers to her daddy's homosexuality like it's nothing at all. *sigh* If only the people of our world could be like this....
Last few things and I swear I'll shut up! :) Bras that lock in place - loved it! This from a man who's chased more skirts than I care to know about! LOL! Nicholas and Aideen are definitely "devious little brats"! Brilliant idea about thinking of Riza to make the tears flow. It made me a bit misty eyed too the way Aideen told it. *hugs Aideen* Question. Why did Roy roll down the window when everybody was already out of the car? Lastly, I liked how Ed got the last laugh on Roy when he pointed out that Roy's parenting knowledge was based on his experiences of watching Ed grow up! ;) ouch! That'll make him lose some sleep! :D It's amazing when you think about it just how long these two have known each other. Happy Birthday Ed!! :D

*sniffle* Our little Aideen is growing up so fast! her first bra. Ah, the memories! God, I HATED having to wear a bra! :D Even now, all these years later, bras can still be a pain - especially the ones that don't ride right or pinch. Who's bright idea was it anyway to put underwires in bras? There's nothing worse than an underwire sticking you in the side trying to gouge a hole in you! ouch! :) Uh oh, this also means that it won't be long before Aideen has her first menstrual cycle. Oh dear. Roy's having a hard enough time with the idea of a bra. This new development will really do him in! XD AND she's taken to calling Ed dad! *overly dramatically clutches chest* Oh my poor heart! I think it's broken! XD This can't be happening! She's still just a baby! *cries* Maybe Roy and I can commiserate over the loss of childhood together. :)

Love, love, love!
One of my favorite fanfics. And it's so poignant seeing the babies from For Her, For Him grow up.
I liked the touch about the kids thinking about their mom. I'd really love to see a little more with that, like Roy telling them about Riza, photographs, etcetera.
