SQWEE!! Awesome chapter! Don't scare me like that letting that one suit of armor get away like that! Holy crap! I was having a panic attack over here! sheesh! Very interesting tho that it purposely seemed to seek out the Rockbell shop. Keyword - seemed. The thing could have been an advance scout sent ahead to check out and guage the strength of the "enemy" or it could have just been mindlessly ambling down any given street and just happened to be headed for Winry and the twins. I don't buy the second scenario. Eckhart (yecch. That leaves a bad taste in my mouth.) isn't stupid enough to send only brainless puppets on a mission like this. Naw, that bitch is smart enough to have at least one in the group to do her dirty work for her. DEATH TO ECKHART!! (This is becoming my new mantra! :P She got off too easy in the movie. Getting shot in the head didn't let her suffer anywhere near enough for my taste. I prefer that those I despise suffer greatly before dying painfully. Sadistic much? LOL!)
That last scene of Wrath and Edward together was very sweet! I'm glad they have each other to rely on to get thru this mess. Good luck with blocking the gate, Wrath! Hmm. Blocking. Not closing. That means the gate would have the potential to be opened later on. At least by the someone who blocked it to begin with anyway! ;)
I'm gonna be honest with you right here right now and state for the record that I'm kinda disappointed that there isn't more of Roy and Ed in this story. I know the object of this story is the collision between the two worlds and the fallout thereof and that that necessitates dividing screen time (so to speak) between the two parts but I miss having Roy and Ed around being more involved active participants in things than this. It was all the drama around them getting together and surviving nine kinds of hell that drew me to the original story to begin with. Yeah, I know they're in here but they've almost become secondary characters. Shadows of what they once were. Maybe that comes with getting older and being responsible for two small children. This chapter was the first time in the almost 4 years since the twins were born that these two have gotten the opportunity to really DO something, to be the fiery go-getters of before. *sigh* Yeah, I know I said I love WAFF but a girl needs some action now and then too. I miss the sparks flying between Roy and Ed - be they sparks of romance or an arguement it doesn't matter, Ed's quick temper and snappy come-backs, the adrenaline high of surviving bold death defying adventures. *sigh* I guess I'm missing what was and not appreciating what is. This review is running dangerously close to being a gripe session. gomennasai.

Interesting, kinda neat that your using the movie too. Though I'm curious as to how they made a chimera without alchemy.

*gasp* Monsters invade Amestris! *giggle* How's that for a headline for those pesky journalists! LOL!! I'm dying to know what Wrath will do about the gate opening! Will he go thru the gate? Will he be able to seal it? Will Edward find some happiness since Alfons' imminent death seems to be bringing him down? Oh, before I forget, death to Eckhart! *evil laughter* Is she even in this? Hey, how'd she manage to make a chimera anyway? interesting. And here I though alchemy didn't work in this world. Is Stephen an OC? I can't think of anyone he could be the double of.
Yeah, I knew the Roy/Ed fluff wasn't gonna last. All couples fight after all. Roy can't control his charm any more than Ed can his temper. It's just the way they are. But, Roy was in the wrong for letting that female paw him like that, smiling and encouraging her no less. Flirting with her and letting her cling to his arm and touch his lapel, uh, yeah, that's crossing the line, mister, especially when you do it in front of your husband. That's just plain disrespectful. He's a married man AND the head of state but what does he do? schmoozes some strumpet. Yep, she's a hoochie. A decent woman wouldn't act like that especially with the man's spouse sitting right next to him. He could have quite politely stopped the groping without drawing attention but he didn't. *sigh* Smile and chitchat all you want, just don't let some skank feel up on ya. Keep your hands to yourself, ho! *grins* Jeez, jealous much? I think I'm more upset than Ed is! LOL
Aideen was just too cute daring both Roy and Ed to touch her until her boo-boo quit hurting!! That girl is Ed made over! Nicholas is just a typical little boy - part hellion, part angel. :) It's almost like she's the older of the two of them! Love her!

okay, i totally understand about stephen now. i think maybe i just misread a sentence. and i can't remember if i told you in the last review or not that i'm really interested to find out why nicholas doesn't like the number four, if it's even part of the bigger plot. thanks for adding to the chapter! i look forward to the next one.

I love this though, the time jumping is a good idea, methinks, and the plot you're building is fascinating! Wrath's adventures on Earth are captivating, and i think the desicion to make him a main character was a wise one.
The humor you've added hilarious too. Roy freaking out over the possiblity of being related to Armstrong by way of marriage had me in stiches! Though, Falman's lines and demeanor reminded me more of Havoc than himself. Falman's generally more straight laced and by the book. I did like that you gave him a family.
I like the relationship between Edward and Wrath, it's very brotherly and caring, it interests me that they both seem to be the younger brother and the elder brother at different times. I'm glad they found each other.
The balancing of the serious and funny reminds me a bit of Skaydark's long stories... you know the ones, and i think it's great, the improvement in you writing between this fic and the first is huge! You should be proud!

I just wanted to say first of all that I am so glad that the Amestris parts of this story so far have been fluffy. As you said in the intro, Roy and Ed went thru ten kinds of hell to get where they are now so a bit of downtime has been well earned! :) Since I love and adore WAFF I have no problem with it at all! I say write more of it for them! Just don't forget to throw in a bit of lemony goodness once in while! :D I don't know why but I really like it now that Roy and Ed take turns being top. (It's probably just because I'm a crazy yaoi fangirl! LOL!!) I'm assuming they are switching up anyway. Roy doesn't strike me as one to be bottom for too long! ;) If nothing else, it gives Ed a chance to not always be "the friggin' woman" all the time! LOL! And I see that by him saying "friggin'" that Ed has learned to watch his language around the kids! :) I wonder why Nicholas won't say four. That's just weird. Kids have the strangest paranoias about things.
It looks like the London/Munich parts of the story are starting to get dark and mysterious. If so, for me at least, the Amestris fluff will be a nice break from the hardship that is to come. What with Envy trying to kill Hohenheim in London and the Thule Society getting ready to cause all sorts of havoc, things are definitely going to get interesting! How much of the movie is going to sneak its way into "Worlds Collide"? I can see Hohenheim luring Envy to Munich to use him to open the gate to let Wrath come back to Amestris. Assuming, that is, that Wrath even WANTS to come back to Amestris AND that Hohenheim is willing to kill himself and/or Envy to do so AND that Wrath's small knowledge of alchemy can open the gate in the first place! We'll see! :) Do me a favor. If Eckhart finds her way in this, please make sure she dies in a totally painful gruesome fashion. I hated that bitch.

Some things never change. :) Wrath was cute playing matchmaker pointing Roy out to Edward! :D Alas, inspite of Edward's presumed homosexuality, this is one pairing (Roy x Edward) that won't happen. *sigh* I guess some things do change after all. Or not. Only nom-chan knows for sure! ^_~
