oh that is so sad! i hope that they can get their daughter back! so she will be the one adopted by the two men huh! poor russel i hope u give him some hope!

The ending for this chapter almost made me cry! It was a beautiful ending! It makes Wrath's death so much easier to take! I absolutly loved how Wrath got to mess up Dante's plans and help the new Nina/Sloth. And Kain and Frank will get a daughter won't they? SQUEEE! I hope so!

You know on a side note, i think I'm reading to much fanfiction because I had a dream last night that Dante was incontrol of our world.*shudders*

*swipes away tears* That was the saddest and most perfect ending ever!! T_T Ya know, I was doing really good keeping myself together until a certain small blonde showed up to welcome Wrath. *wibbles* Edward, *sniffle* my Achilles' heel. *sobs* I've always had such a soft spot for him. (Like you didn't know that already! :D) Through the whole chapter I was trying so hard to be strong, believing all the while that Wrath's passing, as heartwrenching as it was, would not be in vain and that some good would come of it; then, just when I least expected it, Edward appeared and I fell to pieces. With just three short sentences from dear sweet Edward, I became a sobbing puddle of goo. ;_; [hormonal much? :) The Kleenex people are lovin' me!] Oh my God you have no idea!! Izumi and Edward coming to greet Wrath like that really hit home! I have always heard it said that when you die, the people who were closest to you in life who have passed on before you will come to meet you when you pass on. They come to help ease your transition from life into death. Who better to do this for Wrath than his own mother and the first real love of his life? ooh. Man, you messed me up! This was a hard chapter to read! so much emotional turmoil! @_@ *curls up in a ball with Roy plushie and mourns Wrath and, yes, Edward too*

I loved it that when Eckhart went thru the Gate she went to the "fiery-looking" end of it! Yesss! *evil grin* Something the Gate said tho confuses me. "But his [Ed's] power came from two beings not yet of the world [referring to the twins], one of whom never really solidified his own attachment to it." ?? Who didn't solidify "his" attachment to the world? Nicholas? Dante? If the Gate was referring to Dante, why did it say "his"? pish. Who knows what the Gate really meant. and this "the girl would give him trouble" crap! UGH!! That is so typical of the Gate! vague stupid bastard Gate. I mean, seriously?, the Gate's never been fair but there was no reason for that much cruelty! I more or less understand the logic the Gate used to justify it's actions, but was it really for the best to let Dante loose in the world again knowing the pain and destruction she would bring to so many? feh. This would again require that the Gate be upfront, fair, and just which it is not - not as we understand those concepts anyway. *sigh* I hate myself for asking this and I can't word this properly or in a way that doesn't sound so viciously cold-hearted, but would it not have been for the betterment of everyone else for Aideen to be sacrificed so others would not suffer? *cowers* I know, I know! It's so horrible to say that! I'm sorry! It's not that anyone would wish an innocent baby dead but, if you know that the baby is destined to bring pure evil into the world, can you honestly say that you would not consider eliminating that evil before it takes root? Something along the lines of, "The good of the many outweighs the good of the few or the one."? GAH!! moral dilemma! ;_; I'm a horrible person for even thinking this! T_T I'm reminded of an old argument about Hitler that goes along the lines of my question. If you were there when Hitler was born and knew the atrocious things he was going to do, would you not at least want to kill him then and there so millions would not suffer and die later on? Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that your actions would save those millions as it is quite possible that someone else would rise to power and commit those crimes and those same millions would still suffer and die. There's also the possibility that this someone would be worse than Hitler and you're left to decide between the lesser of two evils. *moans piteously* The whole thing's a pointless round and round argument that just makes my head hurt. I'm sorry I even brought it up now. dammit. *cradles head in hands* It's all the fault of the Gate and it's complicated convoluted logic making me think such stuff. :( emotional turmoil bad for head. ;_;

*shoves the angst laden baggage from the previous paragraph aside* OK, let's see if I can't get this review back on track. the new homunculus. Sloth. I'm very glad she got away from Dante as quickly as she did. I hope she remembers everything Wrath told her and that Frank and Kain believe her. Since she favors Wrath because she was created from his essence, it kinda makes her his daughter doesn't it? That's just a twist of the knife for Russell. poor guy. I'm also very thankful that Wrath intercepted Dante's message and saved everyone from another invasion! *hugs Wrath* Dare one believe the Gate was being fair and just this one time?? I'm also glad weird whispering creepy Tucker is gone and I can't wait for Dante to finally get hers! Something to look forward to! :)

P.S. Yeah, Ed will probably kick my butt if I don't leave Roy alone! :D But, do you think, maybe just this once, he'll cut me some slack since Wrath's dead and gone? *wibbles* We can comfort each other and commiserate together. I promise I'll be good. I just need a hug to make it all better. *smiles a watery hopeful smile at Ed*

you write the best Dante! She is a wicked, evil, rotten bitch! Gosh, I just don't even know what to say anymore! This story is so amazing! All your characters are so well developed! Okay I was wrong last time and I'm probably wrong this time...but she dosen't need a baby anymore, and she put her hand over her stomach...and she slept with Philip?!?!!?!?

I did that? WOW! I don't even remember picking up on Aideen's odd behavior and asking that! :) not surprising tho. I said I was no good at mysteries. I had a clue to the puzzle and didn't even know it! :D It really breaks my heart to know that the sweet precious innocent little baby that Aideen was, the baby that Roy and Ed loved and devoted themselves to long before she was even born, was born with the soul of a monster in her. ;_; I see the when and where that Dante took possession of Aideen, I'm just a little fuzzy on the how. I'm not arguing the point or anything but I'm confused why none of the five persons there were aware of her presence at the Gate, especially Ed. Ed had at least triple the amount of alchemic power than he normally did and still Dante got past him, past them all for that matter. How then was he, with the twins' help, able to fend off Scar's attack but not Dante's? I'm guessing that they all were so distracted by the Gate itself that they weren't watching their backs making it easier for Dante to slip in unnoticed. Her presence/power was probably masked by the Gate's greater power. GRRR! It's so frustrating!!! My blood pressure goes thru the roof everytime Dante does something smarmy! I hate this bitch!!!! "They didn’t raise me. They just ensured I reached an age where I could survive on my own." Damn this arrogant ass bitch!!!! GRRRRRR!!!! Any why hasn't Aideen's body started to deteriorate anyway?? Is Aideen's alchemic power that strong? It's gotta be if she's able to use herself to open the Gate like she did. And what is up with that weird pose Dante struck to open the portal? I couldn't help but remember the posture Ed assumed at then end of the anime when he opened the Gate and brought Al back. [I'm trying SO hard not to think of the rest of that thought (Ed trapped in our world) because if I do I'll start crying and I'll never get this finished!! *eyes well with tears anyway* dammit! I did it anyway! *sniffle* Where the hell are my tissues? *sobs uncontrollably*]

(half a box of tissues and a several rants of "Damn everybody involved for making such a sad movie!" later...) I feel bad for Russell. They haven't found anything of Wrath (nor are they likely to. Where'd his body go?) leaving Russell with no closure. His pitiful plea of, "I just don’t want to be the one who has to carry on.", was enough to break your heart. :( I'm gonna be honest with you and say that I never was a fan of Riza's - yours, the anime's, anybody's, doesn't matter. I like her OK, I guess, maybe. I do want her to go home to her children and her Roy ('cause she can't have mine!! LOL *glomps Roy* Hail to the Fuhrer!! :D). It's strange that automail doesn't seem to bother her at all but the concept of gay love totally freaks her out. Oh! Thanks so much for the bit of fluff at the end with Roy and Ed placing their hands over each other's hearts! :) It's been a while since we've had any fluffiness and I've missed it. :) I'm betting that it will be Hohenheim who figures out that Dante is hiding in Aideen. Since he knows Dante the best he's the most likely to pick up on some behavior of hers and put the pieces together. Somebody better do it fast before she lays so much as a finger on either Roy or Ed! grrr!!

YAY!! Thanks, I love this story! I think this is the best Ed/Roy fic I have read...including the first part! Well thanks for updating again, and I can't wait till you update.

Wow! I totally confused myself as to who Dante was! Another fantastic two chapter! Man the action was amazing! Dante is a hard core bitch, she has to be the evilest villian ever! What is that damn woman plotting?!?! And gosh! Bringing Riza over was the agnstyest thing you could do! Once again I'm on the edge of my seat!

OK. Answer me this. When (and there is no if here) everyone finally knows that Dante is in Aideen, how will they get her out? What will happen to Aideen once Dante is cast out? Where is Aideen's soul? Can Aideen come back or, once Dante is gone, will Aideen die? Are Riza and Hohenheim trapped on this side of the Gate? What will happen to Earth Roy et al now that Eckhart and her crew are gone thru the Gate never to return? I think this chapter generated more questions than it did answers! :) [side note: Did you know that there was a real Eckhart? There was no "Dietlinde" Eckhart but there was a "Dietrich" Eckhart. He was never a member of the Thule Society (which also really existed) and was close to Hitler. I never knew that so much of the movie was taken from real life! Can ya tell I'm easily impressed? XD] I think you have me confused with someone else for figuring out who Dante was at the chimera attack because I had no idea that Dante was Aideen until you spelled it out for me. I'm no good at mysteries. I mean, look at the way I was freaking out! :) Someone who had it all figured out wouldn't panic like that! LOL!! It might have been this shirk who found it "annoyingly predictable and confusing" (ouch!!) who knew all along. Simple little me was clueless. :( I'm trying really hard to remember when in For Her For Him that Dante had an opportunity to invade Aideen. I can't think of a time when Ed was alone with Lyra/Dante for long enough for her to have the time to infect the unborn Aideen. *pouts* This is something else you're gonna have to explain to me! :)

Aideen/Dante's attempts to turn Ed and Roy against one another are futile at best. They've been together too long and been thru too much for that shit to work. I don't think Riza will cause a breakup either - especially once Frank tells her everything about how the twins came to be and that Roy and Ed are married, a concept that she is not willing to deal with. Granted Riza will be a source of pain for them because seeing her is like seeing a ghost, a walking talking reminder of what could have been. That's a scary thought! It's VERY disconcerting to meet someone who looks just like someone who has died. I remember when an uncle of mine died and his brother showed up at my aunt's house after the funeral. It was the creepiest feeling ever to see this man who looked just like my uncle talk about my uncle! I was so unnerved that I could barely stay in the same room with him!! It really was like it was my uncle, who we all knew was gone from this world, had come back and was sitting there talking with the family about himself like nothing had happened!! It absolutely gave me chills!! *shivers* So, when Roy felt like the world was crumbling around him, I can honestly say that I know exactly where he's coming from! I hope Riza can go back thru the Gate if for no other reason than it would take her back to her family and she would be out of a situation she's incapable of handling. If she's stuck here, she will be completely miserable without her Roy and her children, not to mention that alchemy is a way of life in Amestris, and she'd have to deal with the sad regretful maybe even confused looks on everyone's faces everywhere she went. Hearing, "I thought you were dead!", all the time would drive you nuts! :) Nicholas will be happy to get to spend some time with this pseudo mother of his if nothing else. I may not be Russell's #1 fan but I'm not completely cold-hearted where he is concerned. I do feel for him right now. He's going to shatter once he finds Wrath's body. That's a pain I wouldn't wish on anybody.
