*giggle* "Hideous" and "bridesmaid dress" just automatically go together don't they! XD I know for myself I have never worn one of those things that didn't look absolutely horrible and couldn't wait to get the damned thing off me! LOL!! Aideen, I feel your pain! :) Oh, and let's not forget the hat! Ugh, insult to injury! Sometimes I think brides purposely choose those god awful dresses just so they can oh so politely insult their friends. Anything to make themselves look better I guess.
Poor Ed. Having a cold sucks. Having a cold and having to handle reporters sucks even worse. I remember one time many years ago when I was in the hospital and had hallucinations while coming off the stuff they'd given me to knock me out. No giant green bunnies for me tho! :D I had giant floating cotton balls (they were the size of beach balls man!) and a large white dog who walked on his hind legs with his arms crossed, tsk-tsking everything in the room (myself included), and, despite my best drugged up efforts, would not leave the room! It's no wonder that to this day I'm not a dog person! :)
Ed's coat, round 3. I believe the museum curator and I have a lot in common! :) We both cherish that coat. I should get one since I love the damned thing so much. Tho where and when I'd get to wear it is a different story. *sigh* There are no cons here and it's not like I could just randomly wear it out in public or anything. Ooo, I just imagine the looks and stares I would get if I did something like that! :) Somebody would probably call the guys with big butterfly nets and jackets with extra long sleeves to come take me away! XD *sigh* Wouldn't it be great if people could dress up in cosplay and not get treated like freaks? Damn stodgy societal rules. :( The line, "He [Fletcher] only hoped the coat was involved in something, rather than an active part to save Aideen some creepy embarrassment.", confuses the hell out of me. What does this mean? Is this in reference to chapter 2 (which I just reread) when Ed wore said cherished outfit to have lunch with Roy and they ended up having desk sex with Ed as top? Ed did say the coat was made after the twins were born and in chapter 2 Ed says that the only pieces of his outfit that were original were the boots. (Who knew Ed knew how to make clothes!) I was thinking, like Roy, that Ed only had the one coat which is why I held it in such high regard. Ed never seemed to grow that much (Sorry Ed! *runs and hides from Ed* XD) and with alchemy he could change the coat's appearance at will. I mean, there were lots of times when Ed and Al were searching for the stone that Ed's coat would get mangled in a fight but would be whole again by the time they left whatever town they were in. I always thought he just used alchemy to fix and adjust the coat (not to mention the rest of the outfit, esp that right hand glove) whenever it got ruined. Ed only carried the one small suitcase when they traveled and it's not like he could have had too many outfits in that one little case. I guess one can alchemize something only so many times before it's not possible to do it any more. *sigh* So Ed had multiple coats. dammit. You've taken the wind out of my sails! I can't properly rant now! ;) Knowing Ed had several coats changes everything! It's now not that bad that Aideen altered that one coat. Knowing hers is a pieced together copy of a copy of the original coat somehow lessens the value of the coat. (Why does that make me sad?) The Truth is just so much more boring than all my wild supposition! :) What inspired Ed to line Nicholas' coat with one of the red coats anyway? So Nicholas could wear his symbol too?
I officially don't like Phillip. Don't know why but I don't. I'm done with him. Aideen doesn't seem too keen on him either, right now anyway. We'll see...
*grins* Russell and Wrath's date should be interesting! A jealous Russell is quite entertaining! Naughty Nicholas with all his trademark Mustang charm making Russell stew in his own juices! ;) It's his own fault anyway. As long as Russell doesn't screw things up again, I think they'll be OK. They fight too passionately for there not to be something between them. :)

You didn't surprise me with Nicholas kissing Josef at all. I already suspected that Nicholas was at least bi-curious from the end of chapter 41 when he wondered if his parents had the right idea. I was just frustrated with him for his lack of good sense for doing something like that in a very public place with so many people around. idjit. I had to laugh when Roy was talking to Nicholas and admitted that he couldn't get too upset with Nicholas because "there’s no pretending I wasn’t just as bad as you"! too true! ""Have you learned anything from this?" "That I’m not opposed to dating a guy, though I still like boobs?" "That wasn’t what I meant, Nicholas." "Well, it’s what I learned."" ROFL I loved this!! It was also sweet when Ed said he rather liked seeing "the person in that coat going a bit crazed over a stupid comment". Ah, sweet memories! I was ready to jump that woman too for calling Nicholas a "quintessential slut"! *glares at the woman* You want some o' dis biotch? grr! I'm still none too pleased about what Aideen did to the coat and I'm still waiting for her to make amends for it. For something of this magnitude, I can wait for it; just not for too long because that will just make it worse and I can hold a grudge like nobody's business. ;) Wow. 192 pages. 158,000+ words. This thing is HUGE!! :)
What's up with Phillip acting all jealous and possessive over Aideen around Fletcher? Why's he so hung up on the age difference? Uh, rude! Chill out dude. He's her friend and he taught her plant alchemy. I wonder what Armstrong would say if he knew his son was behaving this way disrespecting the "noble" family name! XD Where did Fletcher get a guitar and why's he giving it to Aideen?

XD Good grief, the boy has no shame! LOL! So much like his papa! :) Just as much of a philanderer as Roy ever saw the day to be! *sigh* What are we gonna do with him, the silly peacock, showing off in front of his new boyfriend like that? ;) Ya know, it just dawned on me that it's quite the weird twist of fate that when Nicholas was a baby he couldn't stand to be held in Ed's automail arm but now has automail himself. Curious how life can be quirkly like that.
I thoroughly enjoyed "Fullmetal vs Flame: Round 2" very much and, even though I should have expected it, I didn't see it coming. You managed to put that now all too familiar ache in my heart by letting Roy falter during the match. Oh how you twist my emotions! *wibble* My beloved Roy isn't as able-bodied as he used to be! *cries* I was immensely thankful that Ed didn't embarrass Roy by defeating him in public! Ed, I could kiss you! :D *Fangirl glomps Ed, Ed struggles to escape the crazy fangirl, Roy makes a break for it before said crazy fangirl gets ahold of him!* XD
I'm going to be brutally honest with you here when I say that it totally and completely pissed me off that Aideen altered Ed's coat. I mean flaming fuming furious too! (Say that three times fast!) I was like, "Oh hell no she di'n't!" How dare she!! That's severely crossing the line. Somethings you just don't do out of respect dammit! I understand that she did it so it would fit her frame better and she'd look all cute and all but it was just wrong. You shouldn't do it at all but bare minimum you're supposed to ask before you do anything to something that belongs to someone else! Ed, I am so sorry your baby girl has disrespected you so. If Aideen wants any of my respect back, she had damn well better put that coat back the way it was when she takes it off! *glares at Aideen* In fact, take that coat off right now, young lady! I'm so upset with you I don't know what I'm gonna do! Ugh! These children are gonna drive me out my mind! :) I'm not even gonna mention Hohenheim and Noa! GAH!! @_@

again great chapter, wow frank is gansta man making his father probably shit himself lol. finally they make up and in a good way. i hope things get better for them. also i wonder what will happen when and if hohenheim will safe the men and women captured by the thule's. alos this has been bugging me for a while and i was wondering if you planned in the near future probably not though if you would have ed go through pregnancy. i know it was a once in a life time thing but wouldn't it be funny if one day they were having sex and ed ended up getting preggy, oh the hilarity of the scene. anyway i was just wondering and wanted to get that off my chest. the twins by far are my fav characters then its roy/ed and so on. update soon and great job XD

Hmm. My last review was kinda bitchy wasn't it. Sorry 'bout that. I do tend to go off on rather savage rants with little provocation! :P Note to self: Don't submit reviews if you're in a bad mood! XD Of course Ed and Roy can't have a perfect relationship 24/7. That's impossible. No one can do that. Of course it's all Dante's fault. The mere thought of her put that distance between Ed and Roy and turned Aideen into the dark character she is now. This transgression shall be punished and has become more fuel for my Dante bonfire!! MWHAHAHAHA!! Sorry, ranting again. *deep breaths* Ya know, come to think of it, Ed always wore black (with that very eye-catching red coat!) when he was her age so I guess her being all in black is no real biggie. just history repeating itself. At least she's not depressed. That would kill me. Taking a book into a movie theater? Um, yeah, OK. *cough cough nerd cough cough* XD
It was very sweet of Ed to give Roy that necklace (I'm assuming) with his alchemic symbol on it! Roy still needs the ignition cloth of his gloves to create the spark he needs to get his flames going right? Meaning he's still vulnerable to water. Unless Ed used the modified symbol he created back when he was pregnant and bored and looking for things to do to keep busy then, yeah, water is still a problem for Roy. hmm. Oh well, it's the thought that counts! I'm just glad they made up. Love the snuggling on the couch thing! Ed! Don't beat up on your poor husband like that! You don't wanna hurt him when there's awesome makeup sex to be had!! w00t! ;) *snerk* Ed wearing tighty whiteys and Roy getting an eyeful! Love it! XD Two other funny things: "Grandmama" Raine and Ed saying, "I’m so damned glad I’m gay. Women are impossible to figure out." ROFL! Love it! Priceless!! *giggling* Why is it that sometimes totally random ordinary things are hilarious?
I'm glad Frank didn't kill his dad. The old bastard wasn't worth it. I didn't really think he would, maybe just beat the hell out of him, but he definitely got his point across!
I haven't decided yet if Wrath and Russell are in love yet or not. Kinky as hell and in lust, yes; in love, eh, maybe possibly. I guess nobody told Russell to be careful what you wish for because you might end up with a plug in your butt all day! LOL!! Russell, you've created a monster! :) I can't even begin to imagine how freaky deaky these two are in bed!
I loved Aideen's gift of the roses! That would be an awesome sight to wake up to! :) Nicholas dumping popcorn on Aideen reminded me of Roy and Ed's first date. history repeats itself again! :) (Why does "repeats again" not sound right?) Poor Nicholas wondering about how to figure out the female population. *giggle* We do like to keep our men guessing don't we! Someone should tell him that no man ever has or ever will figure us out completely. :) What did he mean by "maybe his parents had the right idea"? Right idea about what? Being gay?
