I have to admit that I like that idea. It's fun and I do believe it'd be in character for Hiromi to do such a thing.
Unfortunately, I can't wrap my head round KaiRomi, so I shall withhold judgement on Kai's characterisation (because I couldn't possibly be objective) and I shan't read the rest of the story (if it's to be continued as I expect from the summary), because I just don't find these two "hot" as a couple.
I still wanted to acknowledge the amusing idea, though.
