CHAPTERS 2-3:
Sorry it took me too long to comment, I‘d like to review every chapter as you updated but I could not read anything for weeks and it’s been ages since I dropped by this site, last time it was when I left my first and only review for this fic. Anyway here it is my review for chapters 2 and 3 (More when I read again the subsequent chapters. ^^;;):
A lot of things to remark:
First of all, one of the best things of this story, what gets you so hooked up, is Vegeta’s gradual awareness of his feelings for Goku. How he, little by little, realizes that he cares for the other saiyan; he has already admitted to himself that he’s jealous, though he does not fully recognize, yet, the real nature of that feeling, still he has a long way ahead. And you’ve got it there so right, because given his character and all he has going through during his life, he’s not familiar with such kind of sentiments (And to me Bulma doesn’t count, not love there, well that’s my way to see it, so all these feelings Goku is stirring in him are totally new for him)
And I envy how perfectly you manage to keep him in character even when he’s being nice to Goku. I’m never able of that, I make him seem too softer, so I really admire that capacity of yours.
And the way you portray Goku, not a crying stupid sissy, not taking pity of himself because of the horrible things he’s undergone, but enduring all with such stoicism and courage, such strength of character to move on and keep on going with his life instead of being the whole time thinking how miserable he is; that‘s totally Goku. And the best is when he shows his temper, especially with Vegeta.
As always all the interactions between the two saiyans are priceless, the most fascinating moments. And I like how you include humorous situations, there’s a balance between comedy and drama which makes the story very enjoyable. (I LMAO when Vegeta tried to wake up Goku.)
Another wonderful moment is when Goku finally decides to abandon his home; finally getting over that sensation to own something to his wife. (I love when Vegeta tells him that she never loved him and Goku replies that he had always known but chose not to believe it; that’s something Goku would do; resisting to believe in the evilness of the people, always giving them second chances.)
And Vegeta’s sense of retribution is priceless. How he takes revenge of Chichi! (Great when he says :”I’m the judge and the jury”) One could be tempted to think, at first, that Vegeta would have killed her in a blind attack of rage; but thinking about it more thoroughly that reaction is perfect. Vegeta only loses control, unleashing his wrath and fury when he’s face to face with someone stronger than him, but in the presence of a weaker ’rival’, he’s brilliant and cunning, so wickedly devious, mocking even, with that air of superiority and his typical arrogance; and definitively that’s something he would do (what he did to Chichi I mean). Because even though he’s not a villain anymore but one of the good guys, his twisted and perverse mind it’s always there; that’s something that would never change, not even though he spent one hundred years secluded in a monastery devoted to a contemplative existence.
(Of course, no need to mention what I said in my fist review: excellent skills, tons of talent and brilliant in the way you make flow the story) You really got me fascinated so thank you so much. (And don’t forget ’never be alone’ or whatever the title is now)

my poor Goku all those people who did those horrible things to you. Stupid chi chi I hate her. Dont worry Goku, Geta will make it all better. :). I know I'm weird. lol. I love this fic so far. Neither are terribly out of charater which makes the fic better. I'm just wondering when the Goku is going to tell the others about what happened to him. Okay until next time. ^.~
