I like this story, it's well written, don't know why someone gave you a crappy rating. It has an interesting and original plot line. You stay in character pretty well, but I did notice something in the first chapter, it seemed as though you repeated yourself while Ed was writing in the journal, more like it was copy and pasted there. Oh well, that's cool, I'm going to keep reading this, it's really good, you should continue it and don't be discouraged if others don't seem to like it. After all you have to test the waters before you can swim, (I think that's how it goes) Besides it's nice to read a story that starts out pretty simple and peaceful, it's a nice change of pace.
