awww poor Goku. This sounds to be really good. I like the idea of Goku finally thinking about his race, and wanting so much to be with them to go so far. Please continue with the story, I can't wait what vegeta thinks of this and how this will turn out. I will wait and review as the story progresses. Good luck!

I love this. it's a great start.

I liked the sentiment about Goku missing his people although he'd never really known them. A lot of DBZ fans don't address that at all, and when they talk about the Saiyans or write fics about them they behave as though the Saiyans were just humans who liked to fight a lot. That isn't true. Saiyans are a very different race of beings, and it is refreshing to see that someone else is thinking about this. It's got to be hard for Goku and Vegeta to fit in with a bunch of Earthlings, even if they don't talk about it. And although some people might find the idea of Goku just suddenly deciding he wanted to be with his own people instead of humans odd, I think it makes perfect sense--you can't deny what's in your blood, and if you've had to try and conform to the standards of an alien culture all your life, eventually you'll just snap and look for a way out. So, yeah...basically, I liked the idea a lot. I think you've expressed it pretty well so far, and I'm interested to see updates in the future.
