I felt like Mustang was the real Mustang, but Envy being Ed surprised me. At first I thought it was Envy, but he was a very capable actor so it really seemed like Ed.
Anyway this is an AMAZING story. It messed with my mind and I love it for that<3 Mustang's character is so creepy but so interesting. I stand in awe of him... and you the author for that matter.

*shivers* i read this a few hours ago, but couldn't review. i just want to say it was creepy as hell. i would read it again, but i want to be able to sleep. i was so upset when ed died!! and then it wasn't even him?? i didn't really see that coming until mustang went to kill maes. this was just fucked up. great job. just... great fucking job. i really liked this, even though it freaked the shit out of me.~

Nice twist. Well written. Definitely a dark ride. Not for everybody. Poor Poor Maes. Bad Bad Roy. Was Roy just wanting to play deadly with Ed but using Envy or was it all just a set up for Maes? Good dark story for Halloween not so much for Christmas. Hope your friend liked the present.

I read this and I'm not sure how I feel.
You always do this to me with your fics I love them and yet I feel bad for it.
anyway on to the things I liked.
1)The fact that Mustang wasn't Envy. I did a dubble take on that totaly didn't see that and it hit home a lot more with the Deceit. I guess Mustang must have really lost it in the war.
2)The fact that Huges was the one to come in again for the whole Deceit factor because Mustang(and I'm calling him this because he played a bad guy and Roy is more of the nice guy I like to think of.)was the one to really rape him,terrorize him, betray him and kill him leaving his last thoughts of life that his family was at the hands of a mad man.
3)The fact Envy was Ed so the victum wasn't a victum so Huges got raped twice physically and mentally because is forced to have sex with someone he doesn't want to and that he thinks he is rapping someone he cares for.
4)The fact that it almost seems now that Mustang was talking to Huges through the door that that he was going to gag him beat him and fuck and he was going to like it.
In a way he did all of these to Huges he beat him by making him hurt someone he thought was someone he cared for and fucked him in more than one way but even though he didn't want to he did enjoy it and he gagged him by killing him. I know that that wasn't your intent with that but just little things keep me thinking about this.
I liked this and I feel bad for it because it isn't a pretty picture but it was imagenitive and intelligent and way to short and so my mind keeps trying fill in the blanks how did a get to b and why. I can only imagen how Huges felt before he died.
