Damnnnn..I loveeeeee this story..this is now one of my favorites...damn ur are a really realllyyyyyyyyyyyyy talented writer...so damn creative..n wow..just wow!..I'm on ch. 26... *grins real big* Mann..yes that was soo worth the wait :D but I have enjoyed this whole story so far n cannot keep my eyes off of it..It's amazing!

Hey I have only read up to like ch. 40 something but I'm so impatient I skipped to the end..bc I've been reading fics lately that have ended really disappointingly..and well I had to see if this was one of them..unfortunately this story did disappoint me bc well thats just not my type of ending..even though it is happy I guess..it just isn't my cup of tea..I don't mean to offend you bc I stick by what I said b4 that u are really talented and that was an extremely creative..ending..kinda m. night shamalkkdufdlk whatever....I love him as a director..but I dunno..the reason I didn't like the ending was bc I'm depressed my fiancee left me and I've been reading these as a pick me up.. I love G X V fics..but I was looking for a lil bit of drama n just pure happiness..so I'm sorry if I have offended you in any way..bc its me as a person who is upset n not ur amazingly creative fic..once I figured out the ending..I wrote a really horrid review bc I was pissed at first..but I'm gonna remove it..n if I can't I'm sorry..You really are talented..n anyone who says otherwise is ain idiot..including me for my lil outburst earlier..so I apologize for anything negative I said about this fic..Good job..n keep it up :)

Oh my God. I've been reading this story a little at a time for probably about a week. It's so amazing. I loved it. And I'm glad it still had a happy ending. I would of cried otherwise. lol.

wow, omfg holy shit, this is truly amazing, one of the most emotionally powerful fanfics i have ever read
i really love how you made goku seem vulnerable and vegeta was like the protecter, it was really adorable
the first part & the ending were truly the most emotional ones, it was an incredibly beautifully well written pieces, one of the best i have ever read, i was influenced to read this because of the amazing illustrations of what you, chii & vegeta'slittlelover did & and i had to agree after reading this fanfic one of the best dbz yoai fafics ever & you're an incredibly talented person & you should be proud of yourself

OMFG.
This has GOT to be one of the BEST reads of DBZ in my life!!!! You have turned me into a HUGE fan of Vegeta and Goku. I seriously couldn't gt my ass out of this chair for 2 days. 2 DAYS! It was love at first sight! Thank you so much or this. I was practically laughing and crying throughout the entire story. My heart gave out to discover the ending part where Vegeta woke up. Oooh...that was mean. Lol. It nearly tore my heart in two. But all in all, I really enjoyed it. Though I was sad to see it finally end. Thanks so much again! I look forward to reading more of your stuff! :D

Since DBZ Kai started airing again I've had the chance to re-watch the series and as a result my perspective on the characters has changed in the eleven years since I was a teen. Pairings for this series were based on the established ones and not once did I ever think of the Goku/Vegeta pairing.
I went to some forums and saw that many people preferred the GokuxVegeta pairing. One that I couldn't help but ask myself why?Seeing as how their personalities were not compatible in that situation. Was it because of their height difference? I thought that their dynamics would be better in VegetaxGoku and luckily I came upon your story. Was I glad that I did!
You describe their relationship in such a dynamic way and the plot that you made is conceivable as canon. There are so many parts that I want to emphasize on why you're Vegeta and Goku work and how it retains on why they work better than Goku being in control. He's always seen strength as a means to gain friends and companionship. After all aside from his dad/grandpa Gohan everyone else who he met after that tested his strength and used it as a means, but not in a selfish reason. just that they needed his help. Give thanks and well.........that's it. I assume that Goku sees power as a means of friendship and acceptance. And it is understandable why after he couldn't become Super-Saiyan he was so distraught well also with what he was put through by Dr. Villa. His character does need to relinquish control and let others handle the situation.and i did like the part in which Goku stated that he wants to *rest*
As for Vegeta, despite his gruffness and just grumpy demeanor the reason he strives for that control and nothing is is that at a young age his ability of choice was taken from him by Freeza. it was his arrogance and anger that sustained him to survive and gather his time. he became ruthless, even to those who took care of him or respected him like Nappa and Raditz. Submitting puts him in vulnerable position one which takes him to that time when he witnessed his home planet explode. I believe that the Vegeta you portrayed one who is still arrogant but who has mellowed out due to his stay on earth and of his children has made him capable of understanding Goku's situation at the hands of Villa. It also helps that they were able to fuse, I don't think that they would understand one another if not for that.
They have such great dynamic and the dialogue just goes so well.As for the other characters their opinions on their Vegeta's and Goku's relationship just works. Bulma is more understanding and knows that what she and Vegeta have is not conventional, she understands that he needs something more and it has to be Goku, the last full-blooded Saiyan. Gohan's reaction though upsetting is true to character, he will be weary of Vegeta no matter what.As for Piccolo, one of my favorite characters. He's just himself, he doesn't meddle in affairs
unless needed and he provides support to the son family. As for Chi-Chi, she's one tough character and can come off as rude and hostile, but she cares in her own manner. One can't blame her for wanting a simpler life. She eventually just wants happiness for Goku.
When i read the last chapter, I couldn't believe it!I thought the title derived from the first chapter alone. It was certainly a surprise!
I sure wish that there would be an epilogue of sorts! One can hope, or a continuation of what does happen once Goku is truly saved. That might be asking to much :) But i know that maybe things might be different, that maybe Victor is able to help Goki early on seeing as how both Goku and Vegeta have a chance to do things differently and how the birth of Momoku is a happier expereince for Goku.
Overall, as my first VegetaxGoku story I couldn't be happier and satisfied. This story will certainly be re-read many times in the future.
