Damn. Just when you think things are looking up, the bottom drops out. Since Anton here, the prosecutor from hell, is also an alchemist, he's bound to try and drag everything he can out of Ed. Poor guy never catches a break. :( I gotta hand it to ya, the mental image of Pinako running around in her underwear is hysterical! XD Oh! My eyes! ROFL! Roy in his underwear however is quite delicious! YUM! :) That line Roy said about the world being so beautiful and touching Riza's hair came straight from the anime didn't it. Yeah, it fits for Roy to do that when he's high as a kite on meds! :) I think Ed feels a bit better about his relationship with Roy (if you can even call it that) now that he knows Al is cool with the idea of 2 guys being together. He's free to get as close to Roy as he can without being afraid of Al rejecting him. I'm so totally assuming Ed even wants to be with Roy when the poor boy doesn't know what he wants about anything. :( It was really sweet of the guards who took Roy and Ed home to tell them about the listening devices and what they could and couldn't do. They still have some allies here and there tho what more they can do for Roy and Ed seems limited. I had to smile when Roy thought about transmuting the bars into "ghastly decorative features"! I remembered in the manga when Ed had to fix a balcony that was destroyed during a battle with Scar and he remade it into some ghastly gothic design that the lady who owned the balcony didn't really like but thanked him for his work anyway! Ed does have a thing for dragons and gargoyles so maybe Ed will appreciate Roy's handiwork if he does change the bars! :D

I really love this fiction. The way Roy really cares about Ed gets to me, in a good way. I can't wait to see more!

okay... i'm not sure where this is going to go, but i'll just have to wait and find out! i can see (though maybe i'm just looking too hard) inklings of alxriza, which really amuses me and i would love to see them play out. that stupid anton dude is...grrr. i don't like him. anyway, i'm really tired and don't know what i'm saying. please update soon!!~

Good chapter 6 and 7. I think you are handling everything realistically (spelling?) especially Al's take on Winry. Just because it will not work out between Ed and Winry Al is not the logical second choice. Who knows what the future will hold but right now this is Al's truth and view point. I am worried about what these JAG lawyers will do to hide their evil acts. The FMA crew are in for a bumpy ride. Keep up the good work.

...i'm confused. i don't quite understand what was going on at the end of the story, but i was half zoned-out for the last half, so i'm not entirely surprised. but! i liked al's attitude of not being a consolation prize. how about riza? i think he could be cute with riza. anyway, keep writing!! i look forward to more!~

this is is really good story and i really like the premise for it. will this be a royxed pairing or someelse. will you pair up their father with someone (riza). if al is no longer interested in winry will he hook up with someone (havoc or cain i am not particular i love them with al the same). i can't wait to see the next update.
