Just discovered your story and had to read all 4 chapters in one sitting. I think you are doing a good job. Poor Ed. It is so tragic that Al becames a healthy 19 yr old by moving up in age and their father is healed all by the P. stone but poor Ed is not so lucky. He becomes an abused broken boy. So sad. I think you are handling all the elememts of your story well. Funny that it takes all of this including his own trauma to make Roy come out of hiding and truely show concern and caring for Ed. Cannot wait for the next installment. Happy New Year.

I like the story. I hope you keep writing. This one has a lot going for it.

Ohhhh... I feel so bad for Ed. He really needs a hug, more than anyone I have ever known. I like the way it's written. But boy, I hope it all turns out well in the end. Thank you for the story!

I really liked this chapter. I could totally see Ed's panic as he realised that the doctor he normally had wouldn't be the one checking him, that moment just struck a chord with me because I think it would be a very real thing to happen. And I love thet Roy distracted him by asking him that question, the Colonel is such a sweetie really! :-D.

Poor Al! The interaction between him and Riza was really enjoyable and I loved the line abotu how he was afraid of her when he was metal and yet not scared when she could actually hurt him, it made me grin.

I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next!

Holy hell this is gripping. I'm totally and utterly captured by this story. I've only recntly discovered the joys of FMA and so am catching up on the good fiction on it and this fic is jumping right up to the top of my list. I love the way you portray the characters and poor poor Ed, I just want to hug him... though maybe not the best idea at the moment lol. Anyway, I can't wait for the next chapter!

wow. intense. brutal. Poor Ed really suffered at Bradley's hand. T_T This is a fantastic blending of canon and AU! just awesome! I read this a while back on your LJ and am so glad you posted it here. I probably didn't leave a comment there 'cause I'm lazy like that. It's weird but I like reading stuff here on aff more than I do on LJ. no idea why. Anyway, this is really good and can't wait to read more! Hooray for Roy rescuing Ed!! :)
