this was so good, so very emotional and desperate and beautiful and i loved everything about it, until the end.
i liked the focus on heero, on his need and dependence on what duo has brought into his life, of what duo means to heero. i liked reading about heero falling apart because he lost duo. the focus on what duo meant to heero was incredible, and as i was reading heero's reactions, i could see it, i could feel it. it was tangible and real and that made it beautiful.
when duo returned at the end, i was looking forward to reading them getting together and reaffirming their need for each other. but you side-tracked the importance of the relationship at the end with the addition of the other gundam pilots. when you did, you took the focus away from heero and from duo. it seemed rushed at the ending. i like the idea of them all being a close, tight-knit family, but it would have been better appreciated someplace else.
other than that, it was a fantastic read.

Awww, poor Hee-chan. I don't know if I could see him sobbing quite so bad until Duo was actually back, but I still love the way you wrote this. And Trowa's bit at the end...it's Brilliant. It's exactly the way I see them. They're kinda like the Three Musketeers...One For All and All For One.

so beautiful, so sad, poor Heero. I really liked it, especially Trowa's comments about them at the end, since that's how I've always seen the Gundam Pilots.
