I almost pitied Roy. Almost.The bastard deserved it. I wish Ed will feeel better. this definetly needs a long part 2 featuring Roy's emotions and aftermath of his thorough beating.[anessavanella@aim.com]

Extremely distressing, but part of me wants to know more.
I didn't realise the N/C meant non-con. I get very confused between those who use N/C for non-con and those who use it for R/Mature content=sex.
Anyway, if you feel inclined I'd love to read more, although I do recognise that the necessary realism would be very difficult to write.

That was some serious angst in that fic. As usual your writing is very good and this one of my first reviews since I didn't know I could review without being signed up.^^

Ed was kinda shocking to me, beating Roy like that. Though I feel he was very much in character with regreting what he did, that seems to be a typical problem he seems to have. Though never quite that far obviously. The woman was very lucky that he didn't take his anger out on her too.

Wow...what can I say. Every person's fantasy of getting horribly even when constantly hurt by the one you love especially when you walk in on them with someone else (more than once). Of course you cannot do it or get away with it in real life but it takes a long time for those hurt and betrayed and angry feelings to go away. I was afraid that Ed was going to kill him and or go to prison. But I do not think Mustang really wants people to know what led up to the assault or who did it. Poor Ed...now he has to leave everything and everyone and go on the run (even if Mustang keeps silent.) Wonder what will happen to Al. Atually Al's rage might have been worse in certain ways. I have to ask...where do you get your plot ideas? You write everything well but have a special talent for dark angsty writing.

It is me again and this is the last one. But I thought about it and you are right even when you do get even it does not make you feel any better sometimes worse. This just makes everything worse and you become someone you do not like. People have to go through all their levels of grief before they can start really functioning again. Poor Ed...his rage and grief and retribution did not make anything better just worse and now someone could potentially die from it. Roy should not have manipulated him and Ed had to go through the up and downs of the relationship until he realized for him that it was over. Too bad it went too far but that is what happens to people in real life especially when games are played. People get pushed too far and lose it not always expecting or understanding what the fallout will be. Good adult morality lesson.
