I really just wanted to congratulate you on such a well written piece. I have been reading fanfiction for almost ten years now and I find so very few that are really any good; yours excels. In fact, I actually used the idea to write my own version, giving you credit of course (though I used your FF.net name Onyx). I really would like for you to read it and tell me what you think if you have the time; it would really mean a lot and give me some motivation to finish chapters 2-4. I was really surprised that you classified this story as a UST, not that I’m complaining (my ship is Krillin/Piccolo).
I’m really glad you were able to keep both Piccolo and Krillin in character, not many people can do both. It was remarkably well written, and showed a great deal of insight to the dynamics of their relationship.
I guess my real question is: Are you going to continue it? And is it going to be slash? I would really like to see a second installment, just because it really leaves the reader hanging (although you ended it well, at the closing moment that sums up the emotion of the story).
Anyway, I really haven’t checked to see what this was written; you probably don’t write anymore (just my luck…)
No worries though, I shall find another fellow fan.

*copies review from FF.net, with new final note*
YAY, Piccolo and Krillin friendship story! <3 Not near enough of 'em, I say.
I confess, the Garlic Jr. Saga is one of my favorites from DBZ, strictly because we see Piccolo and Krillin interact in a halfway friendly form; it also works as a good changing point between Krillin being petrified of the big guy pre-Freiza, and being upfront (well, upfront for Krillin) with him in the Cell Saga.
You really got the two characters down pat here, in voice and mannerisms; I could see the whole thing in my head, and what a lovely picture it was. *considers doing fanart* 8D
...Oh, and if you did decide to try for something a little 'more' between these two, I wouldn't object. I'd actually be very intrested to see if it can be done. ^^ Just letting ya know.

Oh, and if you decided you wanted to further this story into 'something', I'd be there to read it. Sounds interesting! ^^

*grins* You have such a great ear for Piccolo. I can just hear him saying stuff like this, being kind of funny and snarky without ever cracking a smile. And you Krillin is spot on - insecure, depreciating, kind of gawky in his personality and behavior.
At first I thought it would be cool to have this scene from Piccolo's POV, but then I thought about it and I think it would have a negative impact on the sharpness of the dialog and characterization.
