BWAGAGAGAHHHHAAAA.
Yeah. I liked Gohan's "box" moments, it will be interesting to see how he deals with them in the future.
I do not expect any fairytale endings, actually XD I'm more of hoping for more conflicts and angst. I just adore angst XD Lol.
OMG, poor Trunks, like all the time. Such a guilty, angsty, depressed man. Such great moments of guilt for him. So perfect. *gigglesnort*
I wonder what's going to happen when they get to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and Cell. Gohan's going to have more "box" time? Or is someone gonna notice that Gohan is not okay? Whoowhoowhoo... CANT WAIT until you UPDATE. Ha, I made a rhyme. XD

God, I've been away from this site a bit too long XD
Great story thus far. I don't know if I've ever reviewed this, so XD
But, a few months wait?! *irrational nail biting* But-but-Gohan is here! Trunks and Gohan have to exclaim their love to each other, Gohan has to figure out his box and his feelings of his father! *cries* Months are too long... DX TOO LONNNNNG.
Waiting impatiently,

Damned plot getting in the way of my smut. And angst. Lol. I'm kidding; I'm actually enjoying the plot quite a bit. It's similar enough to the anime that we can relate to it but different enough that I'm always wondering what will happen next. It's like getting to watch the outtakes or an alternate ending to the Android Saga and I really like it. Not to mention there IS the promise of hot mansex around the bend. This chapter I enjoyed the plot thickening *and* the way Eighteen flirted with Trunks ;) Most of those non-con 18/Trunks fics make me cringe, but this was quite innocent...just enough to remind the reader how damned hot and irresistible Mirai is ;) I don't know how Gohan can stay mad at him really. Fuck knows I couldn't. He must have put Trunks's gorgeous blue eyes in that box of his. Looking forward to the next installment. Sorry to hear it will be awhile!

I'm with Isis, I want them to live happily ever after! Though it doesn't look like it's going to happen for awhile :( Look at you writing dbz yaoi with a plot. Like, a major plot. Going chapters and chapters without sex (damn you). Well, I am totally wrapped up in this story. I already told you how much I loved the interaction between Gohan and baby Trunks. It makes sense what you said about baby Trunks being a sort of outlet for Gohan - where he can say all the things to the baby that he wishes he could say to Mirai. Though...I wish he would just tell him and stop being so stubborn :/ And speaking of Mirai. The poor boy is clueless. And completely unshakable, lol. I love him. He doesn't care that no one wants him around, he just gets all up in your bidness anyway. That's my Trunks :) I eagerly await the next chapter, and by the way...what's wrong with Gohan?? It sounds like he has a strain of the heart virus himself!

How I've managed to not review this is beyond me. So anyway, this is really entertaining to read, like hilarious. Your writing style has that...um, cynical? deadpan? (I dunno) sort of humor/tone to it that I just love. Also, the bit with Baby Trunks and Gohan was too cute! I can't wait for the next chapter so Trunks can save Gohan and they live happily ever after! *obnoxious fangirl squeal*

"Teacher, there are things that I dont want to learn. And the last one I had made me cry...."
Sorry, couldn't help myself. ;P I so think of this story every time I hear that song on some adult contemporary station. Good song, though....
Maybe he had already put fatherly affection in his box.
Haaa...yup, that's Goku for ya.
"Everything else what?" It was just that if it ran out of gas up there or something, the driver would fall a couple of miles to the ground and die. And why was it so high if it was going to the city? And if it wasn't going to the city, why a car and not an airplane?
I wonder if Gohan is really so distracted by what's going on around him or if he's just purposely trying to focus on anything but Trunks. I'm thinking the latter.
Everyone seemed to contemplate this radical—and, to Gohan, obviously spur of the moment—strategy. Was he the only person in the group with a brain? Did nobody else see that Trunks just wanted to follow him? Creep.
LOL. I wish Trunks would've been more of a creep and followed him around more in the anime. Gawd, every time one did something with out the other it pissed me off to no end. Everyone KNOWS Trunks would have followed Gohan around like a puppy. It's practically a Pavlovian response!
Hope warmed him from the inside as one of the two spoke. "Goku, I think that's enough for today. Gohan's too tired to take any more." If Piccolo was saying that, then he must look even worse than he felt.
Awww, Piccolo. So much better a father than Goku...
Gohan hadn't thought he'd be able to work his head around that, seeing Piccolo and his dad as the enemy.
But he was getting used to the idea now. Or at least to half of it.
Love it love it love it.
"Drowning, that's what I'm doing! Stop staring and help me!" His dad's friend shouted wetly, trying to keep water out of his mouth and failing.
Ah! It always makes me smile when Yajirobe shows up XD No different here. Excellent job with his character. I laughed every time he spoke lol.
The wound started to heal instantly, which was actually pretty gross and not something Gohan ever wanted to see again.
LOL...indeed.
He had never been interested in women—which was good, since the feeling seemed to be mutual—he was good as long as he had Tien. Chaiotzu wondered idly if he would want to watch that show if Tien was in it. The idea brought in involuntary giggle forth, as well as an involuntary thought. Probably. Oops. Hopefully his friend hadn't gotten wind of that sentiment either.
Ohh yeah. I always knew those two were head over heels for each other. I like how you managed a scene from Chaiotzu's POV though. You don't see that very often.
Unfortunately, the other half-Saiyan was too focused on his destination to notice; he just kept staring straight ahead the whole time.
Oh, poor Trunks is SO clueless. He's ignoring you on purpose, sweetheart. But I'm glad you don't realize that yet because I don't want you to get your feelings hurt, you sweet, edible little piece of ass--I mean, Mirai. This is one of my favorite qualities about Future Trunks. He's so focused but to an extent he sees what he wants to see. I think you and I have discussed this before; that he's overly optimistic, somehow... I hope Gohan comes to his senses soon or Mirai's going to have a painful wakeup call when he realizes just what his teacher thinks of him.
Eventually, of course, it just became easier to leave the box closed all the time, rather than go through the whole process at the end of every day of acknowledging all of his emotions again, when he was just going to pack them away the next morning.
Ah, this is one of those moments when I could really connect with the character. I love those and authors who can create them. Quite honestly this is how I feel about work myself.
Somebody would have to be sure to take them home after. Trunks could do it. Even he shouldn't have been able to screw that up.
Heheheh...poor, poor Mirai.
Thank you for this chapter, hon! As always, it's got your unique brand of humor woven into every sentence and I enjoyed it very much. Can't wait for the next one. C'mon Trunks...don't let Gohan down.

Aw, man...you totally got me with that ending there :/ Poor Trunks, wow. I hope Gohan comes to his senses sooner rather than later.
I also thought the lead-up to the androids' arrival was very effectively done from Gohan's POV. I had this horrible knot in my stomach the whole time. His (understandable) dread of that fateful day really came through. I feel so bad that, on top of all that, Gohan and Trunks have to deal with the whole "he loves me/he loves me not" thing, too. As if either one isn't stressful enough by itself!
Oh, and you made me tear up (at work no less!) when Gohan was holding baby Trunks. Who's the sadist now, huh?
By the way, never gonna write at work again? Lol, I think I've heard that before :P
