I can't believe I missed so many chapters in a row! I had to read them all. I don't have much to say though, only that I can't wait to read the next chapter to see exactly what has been going on. Goku must have been trying to get free all along, I want to know what's next- I hate that you left it there! Still, I'm very excited about the next update!

Ohh, oh! Does this mean we have the real Goku back?? Was that Buu who exited his body as black tar? Did Vegeta defeat Buu?? Ah! As I was reading this, I caught the line that Buu had a glimpse of Bow for a moment. Since we never saw the 'fight' between those two...I wonder if Buu had just reabsorbed Bow. But now what has become of Buu? And what has become of Goku?? Such good writing. I cannot wait for more!

Wonderful story! I love how you've conveyed Vegeta's mental and emotional state throughout the story. We feel everything right along with him. I really look forward to seeing how things end up. Thank you!

Oh this is so exciting, and eerie at the same time! Also it seems Buu is so comfortable being in Goku's form and yet is also very scared of that fact as well. Then we got Vegeta as well probably missing Goku more than ever and now got Buu turning into his lost rival and friend. Very interesting development this is :) .

I wish I had stopped reading after the first chapter. I'm sorry, but it's true! The first chapter was amazing, incredibly in character, tragic, and heart wrenching. The parts with Goku were just intriguing enough, really it was flawless because you really are a wonderful writer! I enjoyed the following chapters as well, but I feel like the story lost serious momentum and believability during the "courting" chapters. Vegeta became more and more OOC (in a way that seemed more forced than believable), even when he fought it wasn't enough, his justifications seemed forced, and the worst - why would he waste weeks and not even look for the other dragon balls? Forget the idea of wishing back Goku, what about his lost friends, his son, or any other idea to get rid of Buu? For him to completely blow off the limitless possibilities the dragon balls had to offer was incredibly hard to swallow, especially after he told off Dende. His complete lack of a plan, plot device like decisions (goading Bow into raping him, then being surprised when that backfired? Why not just charge him and attack him until he fights?) became very frustrating.
I kept reading expecting there to be a chance at revenge and redemption against both Buu's, only to have it fall into a twisted rape-turned-love story. Vegeta's mannerisms in the last few chapters are understandable, there is only so much you can fight before you just shut down, but I was holding on for one of two things - for Buu to get what he deserves (and a stockholm syndrome-esque love and a build toward 'consensual' sex is certainly NOT it) or for Goku to resurface, as foreshadowed in the first chapter and with Dende. It's Chapter 25 and neither has happened.
I just needed to raise my hand and say I am not with the other reviewers in thinking Buu and Vegeta as a couple is a good thing. The part that I hoped would be the overarching story (a proud warrior humiliated, tortured, but eventually able to fight back and overcome) has been so thoroughly crushed into this pathetic unrecognizable character. You were right in the first chapter that what we love about Vegeta is his struggle, but with so many failures piling up, all losses and no wins, even I as a reader can't have hope for him anymore. What is truly sad is I don't see how he could ever come back from this IC. Even if Goku popped out, they defeated Buu and Goku lurved him, even if everyone came back to life and it was all thanks to him and he was the hero like he secretly longed, I cannot see how Vegeta would ever be able to face any of them. If he tried, I couldn't bring myself to read that sad, wretched tale. The only way I can see for this story to end in a good way for Vegeta, is for him to die and be remembered as a hero with people none the wiser of what he went through. What I'm really hoping doesn't happen, is a Buu-love happy ending. Broken or not, how anyone could love someone who destroyed his life, raped him, and killed literally everyone not just his friends and family, is just not believable at all.
I'm sorry if my comments are discouraging, this got way too long. Please write whatever you want to write, and don't stop because it's good and you're talented. I'm sure the story is going exactly how you planned it, but I can't bring myself to read anymore of it. Good luck anyway!

I'm shocked and yet not surprised Vegeta would eventually be driven to almost kill himself. Kinda makes me think a little on that whole oh how the mighty have fallen. But I'm thankful he didn't blast himself because his curiosity won out in the end.

What a great Christmas present! New Chapters! As I'm reading this, I can feel Vegeta's personality fading, as if he simply exists without purpose. You've captured his depression well. He does what Buu wants just because, he still lives...just because, and Vegeta's lack of feeling toward what has happened to him is so well written, I can truly understand how he feels. That sudden decision to end his life was both shocking, yet unsurprising, too. I'm glad Vegeta felt Dende's presence and decided to not end his life, but I'm excited to see how you depict our saiyajin prince from here. Is there a will to fight again? Or will Vegeta need a lot more help from Dende and the other Earthlings who survived? Really great writing. Can't wait for the next few chapters!
