Typical Goku to get Vegeta saved instead of him! Hope Vegeta can get him back somehow.

Careful what you ask for! beta while reading (which I'm enjoying very much) I think you meant this 'had' to be a 'hard' ...become had to imagine there was an enemy out there they couldn’t defeat

This chapter in itself doesn't feel unfinished. It feels more like there are mysteries to be answered, and that's how the rest of the story will get written. Will you write flashbacks? Or will Vegeta's inner monolog answer most of the questions the fans will have about what happened to bring Goku and Vegeta to this point?

Hope you're still interested in writing this, because I'll be interested in reading.

Another well written and interesting story! I will be following this. I really liek the idea behind it and I have not seen it before. Good luck with your writing!
