Um, I don't know if you've seen episode 77 yet, so I'll just say that Whis says something to Vegeta that made me nearly cry with laughter, because I thought of this story. You'll know what I mean when you hear it. Lol!

I could never tell if Cabba was still a kid or not in Super. Short and skinny obviously don't mean much when you are Saiyan.
Interesting that the child-bearers on Salad/Sadla (honestly, I thought that was just a subbing misspelling) have more of an upper hand, but I am more surprised they exist at all, considering that in U7 they evolved as a counterpoint to the very violent Saiyans that emerged due to Beerus's meddling.
It would do a hell of a lot of good if, and when, Goku and Vegeta ever visit U6, they teach the people there what Whis taught them about controlling themselves (dialing it down0 and preventing children if they choose. It's like telling a woman who doesn't wear a veil that it is her fault then if she gets raped-stupid. Men have the ability to control themselves.
I think I've stressed that point too often; sorry about that! That's how I feel on things. I love your story, and cannot wait for more. I just hope that when we DO see Cabba's world, it doesn't go too far against what you establish.
Just a nudge....eagerly awaiting more! And I've had no more mishaps or illness (so far) in the last couple of weeks...yay!
By the way, it occurs to me that Vegeta, in this series, should he ever learn of the Super Dragon Balls, might consider wishing his people back that way....although an idea like that might not be the best one outright. At least with Vegeta's method, he starts them out on the right foot. I was going to comment on it earlier but forgot. We don't know if a person moving residence from one universe to another is allowed, but if it is, a few Saiyans from Universe Six falling in love with any of Vegeta's children as mates would broaden the genetic pool a bit, with mixing in a few human genes and they've really got it made. (My ruminations, not yours, mind you....I'm weird like that.)
You'd think that U6 Sayians don't have the "uncontrollable rage" thing going because it wasn't bred into them, but the "female Broly" character we've seen hinted at suggests otherwise. The fact that nobody on Planet Salad knew about the transformation to Super Saiyan suggests something else. At least in Seven, it stayed in Legend. It had to have been possible in the distant past if they are capable of it now.
These last chapters to me have seemed to be filler building up to something and I'm not sure what it could be! The best of them by far was the most recent one because I feel like it rounded out a lot of emotions that were only underlying before, and I'm eager to see what you've got coming next for Goku and Vegeta. I expected there to be some duplicity between what Vegeta was feeling while he was talking to Gohan and where Goku thought it was stemming from, but I wasn't expecting his reaction!
Sorry I haven't reviewed in a while! It took me a second to catch up lol, but I'm happy I did. Still so curious about where you're taking this story.

Oh yes, I'm still hanging in there. I have to work super early this morning so I was thrilled to check in and see that you had updated. Aside from a little painful, minor stiffness my hand has healed and I am well over the strep throat.
I will never like what Goku pulled in the last chapter (I have seirous trust issues and nobody would ever earn my trust that way, no matter their intents), but I am pleased that he was able to hold himself off and let Vegeta go do what he had to do. Gohan's gone through a lot, and I am proud of his progress. I disagree that he should not give Videl any more kids. GT isn't canon. He's armed with knowledge and control he didn't have before, and it will well benefit him on handling Pan later on. Pan does not have to be the brat she was in GT.
The most recent episode of Super bothered me on one count: All of Videl's talk about not showing what they really felt to Pan. It's pure freakin' ridiculousness, because it smacks of always acting like someone you're not. That isn't what I consider just a "Saiyan thing".

Hey, thanks! I wasn't sure if it was my being so sick that I couldn't make sense of that passage or not. Still not sure, as I'm only now starting the road to recovery (I think...and hope...bronchitis is a bitch).
I was re-reading this. Still sick, still foggy, so would you mind clarifying who this is?:
“It’s my special attack,” Vegeta shot back. “Now come on. I’ll bet you an hour of babysitting I can bait that fool beta male into attacking me so I can flick him through a wall.”
Despite his concerns, it wasn’t a bet Piccolo could pass on so he gave up for the moment. “I’ll take that bet. You know, even if it’s not serious between them I’ll never understand what Bulma sees in him.”
“I can answer that one. His main personality trait and his physical attributes both have something in common.”
Piccolo looked at him in confusion for a moment before he remembered some helpful slang. “Ah,” he said laughing. “Big dick. Funny.”
I was trying to figure out they were referring to. Is she sleeping with Yamcha again?
