Frozen Warmth

I don't own the Gundam Wing universe
or any of its characters. That unfortunately includes Zechs and Heero who feature here in
a yaoi situation. Now yaoi means maleXmale so if you're not a bishounen-loving girl
like me and don't care to see two sexy Gundam boys going at it, you can leave. (It's not
like I'm pointing a gun at your head or anything. *glares at Zan, holding the Maraca
Machine Gun to temple* You can put that down now.)

Also FYI: This fic was inspired by the Wild Turkey picture from a Gundam Wing artbook (the
one where Zechs is sitting half-naked on a wooden floor with a shot-glass of Wild Turkey). That is one sexy pic and it got me thinking as to why Zechs was drinking and who might be up to helping him out. Enjoy. (BTW I don't hate Noin. I just think Heero and Zechs is a better pairing)

Evening coolness lingered, the light of the rising sun still too young to disperse the frozen atmosphere. Amber rays merged with polished wood, the path of light interrupted by a solitary figure. A shadow as dark as the cold and broken heart that blocked the light, fell upon the surface in the shape of a sullen form. Pale lips parted slightly, spreading in a thin smile. Slender fingers rolled the small glass, the dark liquor within rocking to and fro. Unshed tears coated ocean-blue eyes as the glass was raised.

A sudden warmth enclosed his own frozen hand, preventing the glass from reaching his lips. Surprised, he peered through a ragged snow-blond curtain to lock with piercing eyes of cobalt. "Neither freezing to death, nor drinking yourself into a stupor are going to bring her back. Noin is gone, Zechs." Deep-blue eyes sprung wide, accompanied by a gasp. A single tear fell, caressing a cold cheek in a downwards stroke.

Before it could descend any further, Heero smoothly brushed it away with his index finger. Zechs was too stunned to react - he would have remained as a statue if not for the cold snap that sent an unpleasant shiver down his spine. The feeling seemed to vanish in an instant as a blanket was wrapped around his naked upper torso and arms. Heero's slender fingers entwined briefly with those of the disheartened blond, only to remove the small glass of liquor. Deep blue eyes remained wide with disbelief, as a strong force lifted him to his feet.

"You're better off in your bed," Heero mumbled, "away from that stuff." Draping one slightly muscular arm across his slender frame, Heero took it upon himself to ensure that his rival reached the set destination. His efforts were suddenly met with slight resistance. "Doushite, Heero Yuy?" The blond was barely able to manage above a whr. r. "Why are you doing this for me?" Heero's reply was nothing short of succinct, and blunt. "You're better than this." A deep chuckle issued from Zechs. "I suppose I am. In that case, I probably should go to bed."

Past the seemingly endless hall, a darkened room lay - the cool feeling of polished wood gave way to luxurious carpet. His eyes quickly adjusting to the dimness, Heero carefully led the snow-blond - ungracefully slumped over the smaller man's frame - to the king-sized four-poster. He parted the smooth sheets, helping Zechs to slide within their silkiness. Without warning, Zechs toppled on to his back. His reflexive grasp of Heero's wrist only resulted in the latter tumbling facedown atop of Zechs. Heero's arms locked instantly, his hands spread against the thick mattress for support. For the second time that morning, ocean-blue met cobalt.

Neither spoke for some time, remaining in complete silence as each peered deep into the other's soul. Both were searching for a meaning or at least a suitable reaction. Heero finally broke the silence. "You've been up all night - you should sleep." Though barely listening to Heero's words, Zechs nodded slightly. Heero began to shift but hesitated - mesmerised by those ocean blue eyes. Shaking himself mentally, he raised his body. Something clamped hard around his wrist.

"Cold," came a subtle whisper. Heero's initial surprise passed as his eyes returned to ocean-blue. He reached up with his free hand, his slender fingers gently caressing the blond's pale cheek. "You're still feeling the effects of staying out in the cold all night." Zechs gasped as those fingers slid suggestively down his neck and chest, coming to rest on his abdomen. "Shirtless too, I might add," Heero needlessly pointed out. He was surprised suddenly as the blonde wrapped a sturdy arm around him, pulling Heero down. "You could keep me warm," Zechs breathed, his eyes closing as he drew in the scent of the other. "I could," Heero whispered into the blond's ear, making Zechs shiver with pleasure.

"But I won't." Heero abruptly pulled away, his stern disposition returning. Zechs' eyes snapped open. "What? But, why?" "Because you have no idea what you're asking." Zechs was too shocked to speak. He couldn't move to prevent Heero from dismounting. The blond watched in silence as Heero approached the bedroom door. Something snapped in Zechs.

"I mistook you for a greater man. Cowards don't make good soldiers." Heero turned instantly. In the blink of an eye, Zechs was pinned. Heero pressed his forehead against Zechs'. A startled gasp issued from the blond. "That desperate, huh?" Heero mumbled. Zechs was too shocked to respond. He could only stare wide-eyed into those orbs of cobalt. A warm hand gently brushed aside the snow-blourtaurtain, lightly caressing Zechs' cheek before finally coming to a rest at his jawline.

"I need to know one thing, Zechs." Heero lowered himself, his moist lips barely grazing those of the young man beneath. "Do you want this?" Heero's breath - the light flutter of his lips as he spoke - evoked a warm, tingling sensation deep within the blond. Lulled into a trance, Zechs tilted his head back in an effort to raise his lips. A slight pressure on his jaw prevented such intimate contact.

"I need to hear it." Zechs would have said anything to taste those lips. Heero was only asking for one word, a symbol of boundless permission.

"Yes." The word had barely left the blond's thin lips when his mouth was smothered with Heero's. Zechs moaned into the kiss, feeling an eager tongue pressing against his lower lip. He parted his lips slowly, teasing the muscle determined to enter his mouth. A low groan escaped from Heero, his impatience mounting. He was rewarded when an opposing tongue was thrust into his own mouth. After an intense dual, Heero relented. His lips left a moist path along Zechs' jawline, descending further to leave gentle kisses on the smooth neck below. Playful fingers entangled themselves in the long strands of snow-blond silk. Zechs smiled, the attention far too delicate for his liking.

"You're taking your time, aren't you - " Zechs gasped. He realised the sudden pain caused by Heero's teeth, now deep in the flesh of his neck. Heero began to suck at the skin, receiving a loud moan from the blond. One hand still tangled in lengths of silken strands, Heero used the other to lightly trace his fingers down the cool, pale chest. Creamy skin rippled as his faint touch descended, pausing to gently caress the area just below the naval. His fingers traced over the band of Zechs brown slacks. Heero lifted his lips to whisper into the blond's ear.

"Last chance to back out." He groaned suddenly as an eager hand caressed his own hardening bulge. Zechs chuckled as he rubbed Heero's manhood, sensitive even under the taut denim of his jeans. "Why would you want to back out?" Zechs growled, thoroughly amused by Heero's futile efforts to maintain control. Frustrated, Heero finally grabbed both of Zechs' wrists and pinned them against the bed. Heero secured them with his knees as he moved to straddle the blond's waist. In one fluid movement, he pulled the green singlet top over his head and tossed it aside. Pale hands pulled free and shot up to caress Heero's nipples. Zechs rolled the buds between his fingers, pinching them. Heero threw his head back, releasing a loud moan. His nipples became hard and erect at the attention, a sight that Zechs couldn't pull his eyes from. He wondered what it would be like to trace his tongue over those buds - how they would taste if he began to gently suck them.

Overridden with desire, Zechs sat up. He bent his knees to support Heero before lunging in to hungrily attack the closest nipple. Heero gasped, thrusting out his chest. He squirmed in pleasure as the blond traced his tongue across the lean frame. Upon reaching the other nipple, Zechs repeated his torturous treatment - rolling his tongue over the erect bud before sucking on it furiously.

Lost in these sensations, Heero almost didn't notice Zechs trying to roll him back. Heero instantly regained composure and forced Zechs to lie back, disguising the action with a passionate kiss. Breaking the kiss, Heero descended upon the blond's nipples. Far paler than his own, the circles of sensitivity almost blended completely with the creamy skin of the firm chest. Taking the far nipple between his thumb and finger, Heero began to furiously suck at the other. He grazed his teeth over the erect bud, drawing a sharp garom rom the blond. He switched to the other nipple, simultaneously sucking and biting it. Zechs cried out and Heero became fully aware of the throbbing desire between Zechs' legs.

Tracing his tongue down the creamy chest, Heero descended until his lips reached the band of Zechs' brown slacks. His fingers made short work of the fly, speedily ripping at the button and zip. Lowering the material over Zechs' hips, Heero paused suddenly.

"No wonder you were cold," he muttered, a sly smile betraying his amusement. Zechs shrugged. "Easy access," he replied, returning Heero's smile. In one fluid movement, the brown slacks were slid down the blond's thighs and calves before being tossed aside.

Upon seeing Zechs brace himself as his erect member was fully revealed, Heero's smile widened. Thoughts of payback for the earlier nipple treatment flooded his mind. He planned to take this slow - excruciatingly slow. He lightly traced the tip of his tongue along the warm shaft, receiving a deep moan from Zechs. The delicate tongue darted in and out, lapping at the droplets from the weeping head. Refelexively, the blond thrust his hips forward, but Heero drew back.

"Damn you," Zechs hissed, as the tongue circled the tip of his organ. Heero took the head into his mouth, sucking it gently before pulling back again. He licked down the other side of the shaft before again sucking the head. This time, he took the entire sex into his mouth, sliding his lips up and down at a rhythmic pace.

Zechs tore at the sheets to stop himself from thrashing wildly. "Heero," he groaned, trying desperately to increase the brunette's pace. Growing impatient with his own game, Heero obeyed Zechs' demands. Zechs glanced down, but the sight of Heero's cobalt eyes moving in time with the waves of pleasure was too much for the blond. He voiced a loud moan as he released into Heero's mouth.

Heero swallowed as he withdrew. Standing, he quickly undid his own jeans and dropped them to the floor. He climbed up the naked beauty until he reached Zechs' lips. A deep kiss allowed Zechs to taste himself on his rival's lips. Not breaking the oral exchange, Heero reached for the bedside table. He rummaged in the drawer for a moment before finally grasping the desired tube. He unscrewed the cap with his thumb and forefinger, using the rest of his hand to squeeze the substance on to these two digits. Dropping the tube on the table, he began to prod the blond's opening. Inserting one finger and then the other, he stretched the entrance.

Zechs broke the kiss to release a deep growl. The brunette carefully positioned himself. He entered slowly, trying to reduce the pain for Zechs. The Talgeese pilot clenched his teeth, his brow creasing in discomfort. Noticing the blond's tension, Heero reached down andokedoked his sex. The blond relaxed immediately, allowing Heero to move in time with his caresses. Still wary of Zechs' discomfort, Heero kept his pace slow. He gasped as eager hands cupped his buttocks, forcing him down.

"Faster, Heero," Zechs whispered, his voice laced with desire. "I can take it." Heero increased his pace. His breathing shallowed, coming in ragged gasps. All sense of control lost, Heero's eyes half-lidded in pleasure. Seeing Heero so defenseless and unmasked evoked a strange urge within Zechs. He reached for the brunette's face, caressing his cheek with the back of a hand. This urge was quickly forgotten, replaced by an animal instinct.

Faster. Harder. Two sets of gasps and moans intermingled. Heero gave a final cry as he climaxed. Zechs arched his back as he came, releasing into Heero's hands.

Exhausted, the blond collapsed. Heero reached for his singlet shirt and did his best to clean away the evidence of their intimacy. Tossing the shirt aside, he moved up to lay next to Zechs.

"Thank you," Zechs whispered, laying his head against Heero's chest. Heero slid his arms around pale shoulders. He brought his lips to the blond's. Both shared in an intimate kiss, before finally allowing sleep to overcome them.

A slender finger slid suggestively down a lean chest, tanned skin rippling at the faint touch. A quiet sigh issued from smiling lips. The light caress halted at the waist, causing the brunette to frown. Another hand caressed a warm cheek, stopping at the jawline. Cobalt eyes flickered open, meeting ocean-blue.

The blond smiled, his lips barely grazing the brunette's. Heero released a slight moan, the breath of the other sending shivers of pleasure down his spine. He tried to press his lips against the pale lips above. A slight pressure on his jaw prevented such intimate contact. Heero smirked as he recognised his own game.

"I need to know one thing, Heero," whispered the mellow voice of the blond. Tangling one hand playfully in the silken waterfall above, Heero peered deep into those ocean-blue eyes and smiled.

"Yes."
