Hi everybody! I�m starting another story but I�ll wait t o post this till I get a couple of chapters done.. This is the results of too much reading. And being bored and too much time on my hands.

Warnings: ok this isng tng to be a fantasy, action adventure, romance, maybe a lemon�(no promises there). There will be blood shed and violence. Bad language�( cuz I�m a adult and I can) lol there will be wizards and pixies, and other fairy folk but not a lot of them� well anyway I hope you will enjoy this �.
I�m going to put a cast of characters here for you� but first of all this is a 2xh fic with the others mixed in�� 1xr, 3xmu, 4xcb, 5xsp�.

Duo Maxwell } wandering swordspersons�. Doing good deeds and sometimes

Hilde Schbeicker } causing mischief.. They are lovers.

Relena Dorlin } Queen of Dominion. { description follows cast}

Heero Yuy } Master of arms, and Relena�s body guard ( also her lover) But that�s a secret

Quatre R. Winner } A pixie who can become human like when he wishes

Trowa Barton } Woodsman and keeper of the Long Arc Inn.

Catherine Bloom } Trowa�s fiery sister, and part owner of said Inn.

Middi Une } A Guard in the Queen�s palace

Sally Po } The queen�s personal healer

Chang WuFei } wizard and conjurer for the palace and surrounding areas.

Dorothy Catalonia } Relena�s lady in waiting�.

And one other character but this one is original and essential to the plot but I can�t tell you who yet�..

Deep Woods } the dark and sinister forest surrounding Dominion on three sides

Lake Darkness } An eerie lake with a dark past.

Dominion } It used to be a happy land but darkness has settled over the land due to one tragic event.
Synopsis } Duo and Hilde are wandering swordspersons. Looking for things to do and ways to mamonemoney. They end up in Dominion by a twist of fate, even though they swore never to return there. While there, they run into an old friend who asks a favor of them. This is a dangerous favor with many rewards and pitfalls�..if they pull it off an entire kingdom will praise them and they will be Heroes.. If the y fail they will be dead.

The Search

Hilde Schker ker wrapped the cloak around her tightly as she knelt by the dieing fire and tried to restart it. The cave they had found to spend the night in was small and tight but would warm up quickly, if she could get the flames to start. She shivered as she blew on the embers, making them glow in the darkness. The animal skin the y had hung over the cave entrance moved slightly with the wind. She blew again, starting a small flame, which she fed small pieces of kindling to. Soon it was burning brightly and she could feel the heat radiating from it. She smiled and stood. She adjusted the sword she wore on her hip and stepped toward the door. She stepped out into the dark night, breathing in the cold crisp air. She could smell and almost taste the snow that would be falling over night. She had to find Duo before he froze to death out here. He had gone out to search for small game or fish but hadn�t returned. She figured he had probably gotten lost in the dark. Not that he could. He never carried the compass that the wizard WuFei had given him. She shook her head slightly as she moved down the trail and into the forest. As she walked she listened for sounds that were out of place. She frowned as she came closer to the clearing they had passed earlier in the day. She stopped as she heard familiar sounds, sounds that didn�t belong in these woods. Swords clashing. She smiled and reached for the sword on her belt. It fairly sang as she pulled it free. She held it up and stepped into the clearing. She could see Duo battling two men in the semi darkness. A torch lay on the ground as two others watched with glee.

�My my my,� Hilde said, softly, �I don�t believe this is a fair fight!�

�It�s her, � The handmaiden of Death. The reward on her is higher! Lets get her!�

One of them cried out as she stepped into the clearing.

She smiled and waited for them to get closer. �Come on , boys, let�s play.�

She raised her sword and took her fighting stance. She glanced over at Duo who was still fighting the other two men.

�Are you ok, Duo?�

�Sure, I can handle these two, Watch your back, Hilde- girl.�

�Not a problem,� She replied as she swung to dodge the first man�s blow.

�Oh, come on, can�t you do better than that??�

She continued to fight both men, listening with one ear as Duo fought his two. She heard Duo grunt in pain and decided it time to quit toying with these guys and send them home packing. She stepped up to the nearest man , dodged his blow and swung her blade up and over, taking his head off with a quick and decisive cut. Warm Blood splattered across her face at the connection.

�Next,� She asked tartly as the other man stepped back and cried out, �You killed him! �

�Yes, and I�ll kill you too if you don�t run away like the little coward you are.�

�You Bitch! You fucking bitch!� He screamed as he charged her.

He ran straight for her, never moving his arms down, the sword high over his head. She shook her head as she ran him though. She looked at him with no emotion as his face registered shock , then became slack in death. She turned just as Duo dropped his other opponent. As the man lay gasping for his last breath Duo asked, �Who sent you?�

At first the man refused to answer, shaking his head in anger.

�Well, let�s go Duo, let the animals have him. I just hope we don�t hear his screaming up at the cave.�

He looked over at her, �Just let them eat him alive?�

�Yeah,� She nodded, �Let the m rip him from limb to limb.�

�You�re a cold bitch, you know that?� Replied the dieing man.

She looked down at him, �Yes, and you nick named me so I shall act accordingly�

�We only call you that because you are with him.� He ted ted to Duo. �He is the Shinigami, The God of Death!�

�Then tell us what we want to know and your death will be quick and painless.�

He looked up to the heavens, �If I tell you, you promise a quick death?�

She nodded.

He sighed and turned toward Duo. �You have 100,000 for your head, and you have 350,000, for yours.�

She nodded, Ah, I know now who it is.�

Duo nodded. �Yes Marquise. You shouldn�t have turned him down. �

Hilde snorted. �That pompas ass had some nerve asking me that and I would have disemboweled him instead of cutting of a finger.� She turned to him, and pointed a finger at him. �You stopped me.�

�He is a god damn king , Hilde! You can�t go around killing kings. There�s no profit in it!�

�Oh , like you have room to talk.. Considering why we can�t go back to Dominion.� She laughed as she turned to the man laying on the hard cold ground. � Ready?� She asked him.

He nodded as she plunged her sword into his chest. He let out a sigh as she pulled it free and wiped the blood on the dead grass. She resheathed it as she turned from the carnage. She listened as Duo slid his back into his sheath, also.

�Come on , Duo, let�s head to the cave , it should be warm by now. I better take a look at that arm, too.� Little did they know a pair of bright green eyes watched them walk away into the darkness.
He looked at the mess they had made and shook his head. They were forever getting into trouble. With a snap of his fingers, It was all but gone in a flash of blue-green light. The only tell tale marks were the blood he had no power to pick up. He could cover the blood up but not move it. The earth would absorb it and claim it as its own, soon. He could not touch human blood. Pixies were not allowed to touch the blood of humans, lest they become human themselves. Human, mortal, and powerless. He frowned as he thought that thought. What would it be like to be a human? He pursed his lips. Perhaps if Catherine would have him, He would find out some day.

Well what do you think?? Is it an interesting plot line.. This one I do have worked out so I know where it�s going � he he , unlike most of my others!
