"Go Rikku! Save yourself! In a few minutes this planet will be no more." Prince Virku said to his twin sister while trying to push her inside the lone space pod they found hidden in the castle's basement. Their planet was attacked by Zarr, the sole survivor of the Ziru race. Their people soon perished from his powers and soon enough, the prince and princess were the only ones left.
"No brother! I can't leave you! We will fight him together. We can do this!" Rikku insisted.
"No! You have to go. If there's someone who's going to die, it's only me. Now go!" The prince told his sister.
Princess Rikku was about to answer when they heard heavy footsteps descending on the stairs. Soon, they came face to face with Zarr. He was a thin creature with a very pale skin. He was wearing a black robe with a hood and he had sharp teeth and long, clawlike fingernails. His red eyes locked onto the Princess, and he smiled menacingly.
"Going somewhere, my Princess? Why, I don't remember giving my future queen permission to leave." He said.
Prince Virku stepped in front of his sister. Then he turned towards her. "Rikku, go now!" He said angrily. Princess Rikku just nodded and immediately boarded the space pod. He then turned his attention back to Zarr. "You will not touch her, monster! I will die before you do so!" He said while getting into a fighting stance.
Zarr laughed an evil laugh. "We'll see about that Prince!" He said as he suddenly disappeared in front of the two. Before Prince Virku could form an attack, Zarr suddenly appeared in front of him and stabbed his clawlike hands into his chest. Princess Rikku, who was fumbling with the controls saw everything and gasped. She wanted to go out and help her brother but he looked at her and shook his head. He managed to fire a few attacks on Zarr and hurt him but it was clear that Zarr got the upperhand.
Princess Rikku tried pushing every button she saw on the controls until she came across a square shaped button. She pushed it and in just a few seconds, she was launched into the sky, with the space pod destroying the castle roof. She looked down and saw her brother lying in a pool of blood. His own blood. She barely saw Zarr trying to chase her as her tears blinded her.
"Goodbye brother." She said as she continued to cry. She pondered for a moment about her loss, then a question popped into her head. What will happen to her now that her whole race is gone? And where exactly is she headed to? She looked at the small monitor and saw that the space pod was set on a course for planet Earth.
She started to think on what would happen to her on that planet. What if the Earthlings tried to kill her? Sure, she knew how to fight and defend herself, but she didn't want to hurt anyone.
Her thoughts were interrupted when the space pod shook and she heard a loud explosion. She looked out the small window and saw Zarr trying to blast her off.
"You can't escape me, Princess!!" Zarr yelled as he fired ki blasts towards the space pod.
She again fumbled with the controls as he continued to attack. Then she heard another loud explosion and she saw that the portion of the space pod that was hit had a big hole. She panicked and pressed every button she saw on the controls. She almost screamed when she was suddenly launched away. She didn't hear Zarr scream in dismay. But he vowed to come after the Princess and make her his queen after he had killed his real targets: The remaining Saiyans from Planet Vegeta. Though he didn't find them on Planet Marak, which he had destroyed awhile ago , , he will not give up and he would continue to search every single planet in space until he found them. He continued floating in space while pondering on his evil plans.
Princess Rikku let out a scream as she felt the space pod being launched away in a very fast pace. Soon, she came face to face with a blue Planet and it took her a few minutes to realize that she is crash landing on that planet since her space pod is crippled.
"Emergency landing on Planet Earth. Please prepare for impact." She heard the small monitor say. She closed her eyes as she braced herself for what would happen next. If she is indeed going to die, then it would be fine. At least she would be reunited with her brother.
Soon she heard a loud explosion followed by a crash. She closed her eyes tightly as she felt herself being sucked into oblivion. This is it. She was going to die.
A few minutes had passed with her eyes tightly closed. Then she opened them slowly as she tried to focus on her surroundings. Is she already dead? Is this already the otherworld?
She soon realized that she is still alive when she saw the broken space pod window. She looked out the window and saw brightness. She pushed the space pod door open. Then she crawled her way out.
She found herself in the middle of a huge crater. Maybe it was created when the space pod crash landed. She tried to stand up only to fall back again and wince in pain. She looked down and saw that she was wounded. Blood was gushing out of the wound on her left leg. She tried to stand up again and used her remaining strength to levitate from the ground and remove herself from the crater. Then she limped away from that spot and tried to find someone who could help her.
